First they came to medicate our children who are active and too full of energy for their teachers and parents. Now they are coming for our pets. Reconcile, the new Prozac for the pooch.

The latest hype in pet prescriptions is a new drug called Reconcile, a beef flavored pill that dogs can take to help alleviate its anxiety. According to veterinarian Dr. Marty Becker, Reconcile could help ease a real pet problem.

Becker ran down the list of symptoms of pet separation anxiety:  Destructive chewing,  Excessive barking or whining, Pacing, Drooling,  Yawning,  Inappropriate urination or defecation via ABC News
