Question: Why would someone appear at an event hosted by a Socialist group if one was not one themselves?

File this story under if it walks like a socialist and talks like a socialist and has an ad for a socialist event … it must be a socialist. As reported at the Buzz Feed and the Gateway Pundit, Barack Obama headlined a Democrat Socialists of America town hall meeting in Chicago in 1996. I can only imagine how Obama and his minions will spin this.

Obama was listed on a panel sponsored by the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), University of Chicago Democrats, and University of Chicago DSA. He also supported gay marriage back then.

Things that make you go hmm … I guess it was just an oversight by the MSM that they never came across this flier when Barack Obama should have been vetted in 2008.
