Clueless Democrats … Nancy Pelosi Says ‘We Didn’t Lose Because of Me’

Soon to be ex-Democrat Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi proves two things in her comment that the Democrats did not lose the House of Representatives because of her. One, Pelosi and the Democrats are in denial as to the complete and abject rejection of their liberal/socialist “big government” agenda and two, the GOP is in “giddy” mode that Pelosi continues to be the face of the Democrat party. Nancy Pelosi just can’t keep her mouth shut and just does not get nor can accept that America rejected her liberal agenda.

Just like with Barack Obama, the buck does not stop with Pelosi either.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi says she has the “overwhelming support” of fellow Democrats in her bid to become minority leader in the next Congress, and says she’s not to blame for the Democrats’ mid-term debacle.

“We didn’t lose the election because of me,”Ms. Pelosi told National Public Radio in an interview that aired Friday morning. “Our members do not accept that.”

Instead, the California Democrat attributes the loss of at least 60 seats to high unemployment and “$100 million of outside, unidentified funding.”

“Any party that cannot turn (9.5% unemployment) into political gains should hang up the gloves,” she said.

The NPR interview is one of the first Ms. Pelosi has granted since a small-but-growing number of Democrats began publicly lamenting her decision to seek the top job in the minority. That list even includes some loyal allies, such as Ohio Rep. Tim Ryan.

Among those rooting for Ms. Pelosi to stick around are Republicans, who are giddy at the prospect of reprising in 2012 the attacks they used in the past election cycle, tying Democratic incumbents around the country to the liberal from San Francisco.

Newsflash to Nancy Pelosi, um, yes the Democrats did lose because of you. Democrats also lost control of the House in a +60 seat pick up by the GOP because of your over-reaching liberal agenda and your unwillingness to listen to the will of the people. After passing the unpopular Obamacare bill when Nancy Pelosi said, “we have to pass the law to see what’s in it”, all bets were off as to the shellacking that would take place.

The fact that you are running for House Democrat minority leader proves you still do not wish to listen to the people. Losing the House is one thing, losing it in near historic fashion is quite something different. So what did Pelosi do after residing over one of the largest election day House thrashings, have a party for her accomplishments of course. The GOP probably threw a party as well thanking God that the Pelosi is staying as well and will continue to mouth off.
