Joran Van der Sloot Arrives in Holland
Posted in: Natalee Holloway
Taking advantage of the conditions of the Aruban Court’s rulings last Thursday that upon his release from prison that Joran could go anywhere within the Dutch Territories; Joran Van der Sloot wasted no time and is now in The Netherlands.
He has come back to the Netherlands for further education. He had wanted to take up study in the US but under the terms of his release from custody he may only travel within the Kingdom of the Netherlands (the Netherlands, Aruba and the Dutch Antilles).
As reported by CNN:
Joran van der Sloot and his father arrived at Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport, ignored questions from reporters, and quickly departed. The 18-year-old was to attend college in Holland, his mother said.
It would appear that Joran will begin his future and college in the Netherlands after spending time in prison as a suspect in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway. Joran Van der Sloot an the two other suspects were released but with the condition “they remain available to police”. To many the distance between The Netherlands and Aruba hardly seems or gives the appearance of making one available to authorities when one is still a suspect in two alleged crimes.
Van der Sloot, a resident of Aruba, and two Surinamese brothers who were suspects in the disappearance of American teenager Natalee Holloway were released on condition they remain available to police.
This is compared to the stark contrast of Beth Holloway Twitty’s experience in leaving Aruba after having “exhausted” all her avenues.”
