Texas EquuSearch Returns for further inspection of VDS’s Neighbors Property

Texas EquuSearch returned yesterday to Paul Van der Sloot the neighbor’s property to check out further sites of interest that needed to be re-examined from the day before. With permission of the owner of the property EquuSearch went to work. The points of interest were the old water reservoir made of concrete and the sewer. As seen in the pictures below, such a site could have been a prime location to dispose of a body. Joe Houston of EquuSearch used vision stick, a device that allows one to search in areas by extending a telescopic pole and turning the camera in all directions providing a video display of the area in question.

The video display as seen in the picture above allows the camera to be extended in all areas that are inaccessible. The camera can also be submerged in water to look for any objects that may be on the bottom of the water reservoir beneath the surface.

After over an hour of searching all four walls of the reservoir and all areas in between and underneath the water, the EquuSearch team determined that the site was clear and no longer was considered a place of interest. All leads must be checked out for their potential value. No matter what the outcome, the vision stick, was an interesting and useful research piece of equipment in helping provide camera views that would not be available to the common eye.
