BREAKING NEWS : KALPOE BROTHERS RELEASED

Posted in: Natalee Holloway

The Kalpoe brothers have been released by the judge in the case. There are rumors that they will leave the island and return to Surinam.

Reports are coming in that Joran Van Der Sloot has been held for 60 more days.

There are reports that the Holloway family will hold a press conference to give more information that they have been holding back in the case.

Blogs for Natalee has the video up for you to see.

Live Statement being read by the court reporter.

The Judge has released immediately Deepak and Satish Kalpoe. Joran has been kept for 60 days, but will be able to have his lawyer present during interrogations.

Rumor:

This just came in but it makes a great deal of sense so I am passing it on. I do not have confirmation but I wanted to pass it on.

Joran’s attorney will file a motion for reconsideration (appeal) of the judge’s decision today. If  the lack of evidence that forced the release of the Kalpoe brothers is true , we can expect the motion may be successful. This would mean Joran van der Sloot could be released by next weekend.

AP: Aruban Judge Orders Two Brothers Freed

A judge in Aruba on Monday ordered the immediate release of two Surinamese brothers held for nearly a month in the disappearance of an Alabama teenager.

A third detainee, the 17-year-old son of a top justice official in Aruba, was ordered held for 60 more days, court officials announced.

The justice official’s son, Joran van der Sloot, and Surinamese brothers Deepak Kalpoe, 21, and Satish Kalpoe, 18, were detained on June 9 in the disappearance of 18-year-old Natalee Holloway.

FOX NEWS: Aruban Judge Frees Two Holloway Suspects

Aruba’s chief government spokesman, Ruben Trapenberg, said last week that the three could have been formally charged with a crime at the detention hearing Monday, but their lawyers said that did not happen.

Here is an interesting part of the Fox News story,

A lone protester walked back and forth in front of the courthouse with a sign reading “Let them go. They are innocent. This is a setup.”

She identified herself as Myriam Croes, but would not comment further.
