Natalee Holloway: American Authorities Help Arrest Aruban Suspect, Too Bad We Can’t Say the Same About Help From Aruba
Aruba … this is a hint as to how people are supposed to act when crimes are committed.
American authorities are being praised by Aruban public prosecutor (OM), Hans Mos, for their part in notifying Aruba that they had arrested an individual who is suspected of embezzling money in Aruba. I am glad America could help Aruba fight crime. Its too bad that we could not say the same regarding Aruban authorities actions in fight crime against Americans while in Aruba.
American authorities tipped the OM when the suspect traveled to the US last Thursday. “We issued a request for provisional arrest, which took place on Saturday”, said chief district attorney Hans Mos, who is very pleased with the good cooperation with the American authorities.
Hans Mos, who is very pleased with the good cooperation with the American authorities.
So Aruba … WHERE IS YOUR RECIPROCAL HELP!!! Imagine when we had arrested M.M.F in Miami if we said, go wait in the Hard Rock Cafe and wait for us to give you your suspect. Or we provided an elaborate cover up for this embezzlers and just let the individual go with contacting Aruba or caring what they had done or crime committed in your country.
Instead in Aruba, officials cover up a crime against Natalee Holloway while Joran Van der Sloot walks free and just hope and pray that their tourism comes back in time without providing justice for Natalee.
Suspect multi-million fraud at National Lab arrested (Amigoe; 3/3/08)
ORANJESTAD – Upon request of the Aruban Public Prosecutor (OM), the American authorities have arrested a 53-year old man, who is suspected of embezzling 5 million florins at the National Lab, where he used to work. The arrest took place in Miami last Saturday.

Disgracing Natalee Holloway … This is not Art, its F@#$ing SICK!!!
The following story was e-mailed to us, please keep in mind that the picture if graphic and in such poor taste that we will not post it on Scared Monkeys. This will get your blood boiling.
There is a fine line between are and a special reserved spot in hell. Dutch artists Van Jole (see correction below) not only crossed it, be shattered it. He thinks its OK to put forth the following picture of a deceased Natalee Holloway. See the pic HERE, please be warned it’s not pretty … in fact its heinous. (Note, we are still trying to determine if the name place holder nest to the arm of the individual is different that the one by her feet. In any event, even if there was something else below, the point has already been made.)
HOW IS THIS ART!!!
Go to Geenstijl.nl to read more and see comments from the Dutch.
UPDATE I (Correction) : A little FYI: Van Jole is not the artist. He’s just the guy that took the pictures and posted them on Flickr. The ‘artists’ are the people from art gallery ‘Roodkapje’ (Little Red Riding Hood) in Rotterdam. (Hat Tip: Schop)
We received an email from Van Jole is says as follows. Correction has been made to initial post.
It’s a picture I took during an art manifestation
It is not my opinion or work

Scared Monkeys at New York City Jacob Javits Convention Center Protesting Aruba and Reminding All … Justice for Natalee Holloway
Price of a hotel room to go to Boston or NYC Travel Shows … $60.00 on priceline.com (Free if one lives close enough to drive to events)
Cost of food for the two day at the a travel show … $80.00
Using your God given Inalienable Rights of free speech to take on Aruba’s million dollar tourism marketing campaign and bring it to its knees while providing Justice for Natalee … PRICELESS!!!
The Monkeys take Manhattan.
The NYC Travel Show is taking place at the Jacob Javits Convention Center from February 29 to March 2, 2008 and Scared Monkeys was there to remind all and especially Aruba that with out Justice For Natalee … there will be no tourism for Aruba. If there is a travel show with Aruba present … there will also be Scared Monkeys there as a constant reminder to all potential tourists.
From the preliminary reports that were provided from audio call ins from the Travel Show, the Aruba booth was in no man’s land and appeared to be a ghost town with no one at it inquiring about vacations to Aruba. The exact quote, “the Aruba booths looked pretty naked”. Also absent from the NYC Travel Show Aruba contingent was Rob Smith, head of the AHATA. A rather amazing turn of events seeing that New York City is supposed to be one of Aruba’s biggest tourism markets in the United States. Maybe Aruba just doesn’t care and like most of there actions of late they just take it for granted that tourists will go to Aruba no matter what actions or lack of action they provide.
Many thanks to those that took the time to go provide a voice for Natalee Holloway in NYC. Also a special thanks to new Monkeys that came to the show and the many people that expressed their support. If you think this is not a Malox moment for Aruban tourism officials, think again. They are spending millions while their message is being opposed and defeated by peanuts.
Jacob Javits Convention Center
Stay tuned for many for pics to follow.

Is Vice President Dick Cheney in Aruba? Air Force 2 Lands in Aruba … US Homeland Security & Hugo Chavez?
It is being reported from Diario – Aruba that Air Force 2 and Dick Cheney have landed in Aruba. I hardly think that Dick Cheney took AF2 to Aruba for a vacation.
One can only speculate that this trip to Aruba is in reference to homeland security and a little message to Hugo Chavez just 18 miles away in Venezuela. It has also long been speculated that this has been the very reason why the US State Department has never gotten involved in dealing with the Natalee Holloway case. With Hugo Chavez only 18 miles away from Aruba … it makes a nice staging area to listen. It was not too long ago that Venezuela dictator Hugo Chavez paid a visit to Aruba.
To bad what ever US delegation that went to Aruba couldn’t tell them to get their act together and properly investigate and prosecute a case of an American citizen!

UPDATE I: Dick Cheney Exclusive Picture Spotted in Aruba
(FYI: pic of Cheney on Banana bus is faux)
Oranjestad – Last night the airport of Aruba had extra security when Air Force 2, a Boeing C-32, landed. From earlier in the afternoon there were talks that this plane would arrive in Aruba, plane which is normally used for the transport of the Vice President of the United States.
The police were advised to supply extra security around the airport. As soon as the plane landed around 9 pm on Friday, a number of equipment were taken to give assistance to the area where the plane was stationed.
There were talks that Dick Cheney might be on board with his entire security who received authorization to carry weapons in Aruba.
Those on board are scheduled to leave Aruba on Monday morning. On Saturday morning the plane will be moved to a western portion of the airport, closer to the fire station, because the airport is busy and the plane is taking a lot of space.
The part that will be closed which plane will be used where the Air Force 2 will park. On the photo the plane can be seen just after it landed in Aruba.
