Sharif Mobley

A suspected Al Qaeda militant who was known as a “sweetheart” by classmates at his New Jersey high school is being investigated by the FBI after his arrest in the Middle East for allegedly trying to shoot his way out of a hospital in Yemen.

Federal sources confirmed that 26-year-old Sharif Mobley, of Buena, N.J., is in custody after a shooting rampage in a Yemeni hospital that killed one guard and injured another.

FBI spokesman Rich Wolf in Baltimore said the agency is looking into the case. Mobley was reportedly being held prisoner in the hospital and was caught after a chase following the shooting.

Not only was it determined that the NJ native who attended  Buena Regional High School had Al Qaeda ties, but it also seems that he was a Democrat operative who worked for the Corzine campaign.

Campaign finance records show Mobley received $75 as an election day worker for Gov. Jon Corzine’s campaign in 2005.

Oh, it gets better, or worse as the case may be. As reported by The Astute Blogger,  Sharif Mobley worked at nuclear power plants in the United States.

PSEG Nuclear spokesman Joe Delmar says Sharif Mobley worked as a laborer for several contractors at its three plants on Artificial Island in Lower Alloways Creek from 2002 to 2008 carrying supplies and doing maintenance work.

Delmar says he satisfied federal background checks as recently as 2008.

He says that the 26-year-old Mobley also worked at other plants in the region. Delmar says the plant is cooperating with authorities.

Nuclear reactors remain a tempting target for terrorists, requiring ever vigilant security measures.

I am thinking that these nuclear power plants may want to rethink their back ground checks. One really has to question how on earth a Muslim does not get the once, twice and three times over when applying to work at a nuclear power plant. Then again, as long as there is a war of terror with radical Islam, where any are allowed to work at such a high risk target in the first place.

Our prayers and best wishes go out to Democrat Senate Majority leader Harry Reid and his family following the car accident in Fairfax, VA that left his wife Landra and daughter Lana seriously injured. Reid’s wife Landra and daughter Lana were rear-ended by a semi-truck on a on an interstate highway in suburban Virginia.

According to reports, their injuries are serious but not life threatening. Landra Reid has a broken nose, broken back and broken neck while daughter Lana has a neck injury and facial lacerations.

Harry Reid’s wife, Landra, suffered a broken neck, back and nose and his daughter, Lana, also sustained serious injuries in a chain-reaction car accident in Fairfax, Va. on Thursday  according to Reid’s spokesman.

Both women’s injuries are considered serious but not life-threatening — and both have sensation in their extremities, an indication that they aren’t paralyzed, Reid spokesman Jon Summers said.

Reid’s wife is listed in serious condition and will stay in the hospital, but his daughter will be released. The initial prognosis for Reid’s wife is that no surgery will be required, Summer said.

I would echo The Other McCain’s comments regarding accidents like this put like into perspective and bring out one of our greatest qualities … humanity. We can disagree with one’s politics and want to retire them back to Nevada; however, we should always wish well and pray for those hurt, injured or in harms way … no matter what the politics.

This is the sort of tragedy that can befall any family, and it’s an opportunity to recall the humanity of even those with whom we might differ in other contexts. Let’s keep the comments classy, folks.

For February, 2010 Barack Obama’s government ran up the largest monthly budget defict in history. THAT IS CORRECT, IN HISTORY!!!

The Treasury Department stated that the February deficit totaled $220.9 billion, 14% higher than the previous record set in February of last year. For the year in the first five months of this budget totals deficits are $651.6 billion or 10.5% higher than a year ago. Obama has the audacity to say that this spending was necessary to hold unemployment at 8%, yet we find it presently at 9.7%.

The government ran up the largest monthly deficit in history in February, keeping the flood of red ink on track to top last year’s record for the full year.

The Treasury Department said Wednesday that the February deficit totaled $220.9 billion, 14 percent higher than the previous record set in February of last year.

The deficit through the first five months of this budget year totals $651.6 billion, 10.5 percent higher than a year ago.

The Obama administration is projecting that the deficit for the 2010 budget year will hit an all-time high of $1.56 trillion, surpassing last year’s $1.4 trillion total. The administration is forecasting that the deficit will remain above $1 trillion in 2011, giving the country thrree straight years of $1 trillion-plus deficits.

The administration says the huge deficits are necessary to get the country out of the deepest recession since the 1930s. But Republicans have attacked the stimulus spending as wasteful and a failure at the primary objective of lowering unemployment.

The administration defends the economic stimulus bill that Congress passed in February 2009 with a pricetag at the time of $787 billion as the right medicine to get the economy back on its feet. President Barack Obama has said even more is needed to battle an unemployment rate that remained stuck in February at 9.7 percent.

Our children, grandchildren and future generations who you have stuck with this debt thank you for this change Barack.

This White House keeps talking about focusing on jobs and yet they still are stuck on stupid and health care reform that no one wants or cares about.What is this President’s answer to failed job spending bills? More spending bills. Good grief!

Tickle Me Elmo, oops Massa!

During yesterday’s  Glenn Beck’s radio show, Beck stated that he nearly threw former US Representative Massa out of his studio.

“I almost said, ‘I think we could, but you’ve wasted enough of my time, get out,’” said Beck. “I almost threw him out of the studio three times. … What a waste of time this man was!”

It had become apparent to Beck that Massa was lying.

“America, have you ever heard of a 50-year old man having a tickle-fight — five men tickling each other so hard that they can’t breathe?” said Beck. “I think we found out who he is — someone who can’t be trusted to tell the truth about his life.”

The story of US Rep Massa is a diversion and waste of time. He was resigned from office and thus the House Ethics probe has halted.  No story here … move on to something that is not a distraction. If the allegations were not true, any Navy guy worth his salt would have stood and fought the charges.

As the American people say, we do not want Obamacare, Barack Obama and Democrats continue to press the issue and force it down the throats of America. 68% of American oppose Obamacare without Republican support. Yet, you will hear The One at contrived and fabricated Town Hall meetings that are not open to the public that are nothing more than campaign stump speeches.

A new Associated Press-GfK Poll finds a widespread hunger for improvements to the health care system.

More than four in five Americans say it’s important that any health care plan have support from both parties. And 68 percent say the president and congressional Democrats should keep trying to cut a deal with Republicans rather than pass a bill with no GOP support.

Leaders of both parties in Congress say that’s not how it’s going to work out. After a year of off-and-on negotiations, Republicans adamantly oppose Obama’s plans. The White House and Democratic leaders say it’s now-or-never for a health care overhaul, which would cover an additional 30 million Americans, require almost everyone to buy health insurance and impose new restrictions on insurance companies.

The latest Gallup poll has more American opposed to Obamacare than in favor.

Call your Congressmen and give them a piece of your mind. Remind them of what will occur in 2010, 2012 and thereafter.

Cory Haim - RIP

According to reports, The LAPD said that the death of Cory Haim appeared to be an “accidental death.” However, Local TV stations in Los Angeles it appears Haim may have died of a drug overdose.

From TMZ, Actor Corey Haim died this morning of an apparent overdose, according to LAPD. Sadly, Haim struggled with drug addiction during his meteoric rise in the 80’s.

Yet another example of the tragic rise and fall of a teen star. Rest in Peace Corey Haim.

Supreme Court Chief Justice of the United States  John Roberts shot back at President Barack Hussein Obama’s criticism of the court’s decision striking down some campaign finance reform laws during the Obama’s  State of the Union.  During a Q & A session at the University of Alabama law school, Roberts responded to a student’s question regarding Obama’s rebuke of the SCOTUS decision.

Justice Roberts stated that anyone was free to criticize the court; however it was the political setting and the image of the members of one branch of government standing up, surrounding the Supreme Court, cheering and hollering. All this while the SCOTUS according the requirements of protocol had to  sit there expressionless. Justice Roberts said,  “I think is very troubling.” Might we also add that it was only one party of another branch of government doing this in lock step with Obama’s urging.

U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts said Tuesday the scene at President Obama’s State of the Union address was “very troubling” and the annual speech has “degenerated to a political pep rally.”

Obama chided the court, with the justices seated before him in their black robes, for its decision on a campaign finance case.

Responding to a University of Alabama law student’s question, Roberts said anyone was free to criticize the court, and some have an obligation to do so because of their positions.

“So I have no problems with that,” he said. “On the other hand, there is the issue of the setting, the circumstances and the decorum.

“The image of having the members of one branch of government standing up, literally surrounding the Supreme Court, cheering and hollering while the court — according the requirements of protocol — has to sit there expressionless, I think is very troubling.”

Troubling indeed and a pattern of behavior with President Barack  Obama. This President was elected to change the tome on Washington, DC and how things were done. Obama was to reach across the aisle and create a more collegial atmosphere in DC and govern in a bipartisan manner under the banner of “Hope & Change” … So he said during the campaign.

All The One has done for his rhetoric is bring Chicago-style politics to the White House. Obama is the MOST PARTISAN PRESIDENT in the modern era.  The One has attacked Republican members of the House and Senate and acted  in such a partisan manner that he even went after the SCOTUS in a venue that was completely uncalled for an inappropriate.  Let alone, Obama got the legal case wrong.

Surely you weren’t expecting an apology from this tool.

Asked for comment, White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said, “What is troubling is that this decision opened the floodgates for corporations and special interests to pour money into elections – drowning out the voices of average Americans.”

Gibbs continued, saying, “the President has long been committed to reducing the undue influence of special interests and their lobbyists over government. That is why he spoke out to condemn the decision and is working with Congress on a legislative response.”

Roberts would later say at the UA Law School that justices are not required to attend the SOTU but have traditionally done so as a sign of mutual respect for the president and legislative branch. Look for there to be 5 empty seats at Obama’s next State of the Union in 2011, the missing SCOTUS formation as a mutual sign of respect for this President. Respect is a two way street Mr. President.

Five members pf ACORN from Wisconsin have been charged with election fraud relating to the 2008 presidential election. Now if only the judicial system could see fit tp charge  for aiding and abetting child prostitution.

Five Wisconsin residents, including two who worked for community organizing group ACORN, were charged Monday with election fraud relating to the 2008 presidential election.

State Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen announced felony charges against Maria Miles, Kevin Clancy, Michael Henderson, Herbert Gunka and Suzanne Gunka.

Miles and Clancy worked for the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now and are accused of submitting multiple voter registration applications for the same individuals, including each other, to meet voter registration quotas imposed by the community organizing group.

But really, ACORN has no ties to Barack Obama, really.

According to a new poll, most Americans say the United States is less respected in the world than it was two years ago. Oops, wouldn’t that be under President George W. Bush?

Wasn’t some of candidate Barack Obama’s campaign rhetoric that he would make America more respected in the world and make nicey nice with our friends and enemies? It would appear from this most recent poll that Obama’s bowing and apology tour as well as his policies  have failed to make that respect promise come to fruition.

A majority of Americans say the United States is less respected in the world than it was two years ago and think President Obama and other Democrats fall short of Republicans on the issue of national security, a new poll finds.

The Democracy Corps-Third Way survey released Monday finds that by a 10-point margin — 51 percent to 41 percent — Americans think the standing of the U.S. dropped during the first 13 months of Mr. Obama’s presidency.

“This is surprising, given the global acclaim and Nobel peace prize that flowed to the new president after he took office,” said pollsters for the liberal-leaning organizations.

The poll also shows that Americans don’t trust Obama or Democrats on the issue of national security and keeping America safe. Barack Obama, how is that AG Eric Holder and the DOJ decisions to hire lawyers who have represented terrorists and then withholding their names working out?  This will certainly play well in November 2010 and 2012.

On the national security front, a massive gap has emerged, with 50 percent of likely voters saying Republicans would likely do a better job than Democrats, a 14-point swing since May. Thirty-three percent favored Democrats.

• “Keeping America safe”: Democrats now trail by 13 points (34 percent to 47 percent.) The gap was just 5 points in July 2008.

• “Ensuring a strong military”: Democrats trail by 31 points (27 percent to 58 percent.)

• “Making America safer from nuclear threats”: Democrats trail by 11 points (34 percent to 45 percent,) “despite the president’s strong actions and speeches on steps to reduce nuclear dangers,” the pollsters said.

As Hot Air reminds us, this was a poll of Americans and not foreigners, however, it sheds light on how we perceive ourselves as being respected around the world. Let alone how safe we feel under Barack Hussein Obama.

DAN RATHER: Part of the undertow in the coming election is going to be President Obama’s leadership. And the Republicans will make a case and a lot of independents will buy this argument. “Listen he just hasn’t been, look at the health care bill. It was his number one priority. It took him forever to get it through and he had to compromise it to death.” And a version of, “Listen he’s a nice person, he’s very articulate” this is what’s been used against him, “but he couldn’t sell watermelons if it, you gave him the state troopers to flag down the traffic.”

Hot Air asks the question we all are, could you even imagine what would have happened had a conservative said the exact same thing. Really, imagine if Rush, Beck or Hannity said such words.

I am not sure about watermelons, but we know Obama can’t sell health care.

Eric Massa is stating that Democrats and the Obama White House ousted him over his “nay” vote against Obamacare. Massa is being forced to resign from Congress because he spoke inappropriately to a male staffer. That’s it? There are individuals in the Democrat party who still have jobs after not paying their taxes and calling people Retards. Yet, although inappropriate, they were words, not actions. Was Massa set up?

Rep. Eric Massa (D-N.Y.) says the House ethics committee is investigating him for inappropriate comments he made to a male staffer on New Year’s Eve — and that he’s the victim of a power play by Democratic leaders who want him out of Congress because he’s a “no” vote on health care reform.

Massa further went on to say that the Obama Administration will stop at nothing to “Rahm” health care down the throats of Americans. Of course he is dead on, as today and tomorrow Obama has his Obamcare road show in PA and MO in fabricated and orchestrated Town Halls that are nothing more than made for MSM Obamcare infomercials.

Mine is now the deciding vote on the health care bill,” Massa, who on Friday announced his intention to resign, said during a long monologue on radio station WKPQ. “And this administration and this House leadership have said, quote-unquote, they will stop at nothing to pass this health care bill. And now they’ve gotten rid of me, and it will pass. You connect the dots.”

To have Massa ripping his party and the administration in such a public way right as they’re in the middle of  trying to woo and cajole enough House Democrats to vote “yes” on the the health care bill is at the very least unhelpful and might possibly turn out to be a disaster.

Since Scott Brown’s victory in Massachusetts, the White House has tried mightily to change the optics of the health care debate, to resuscitate the Senate bill, and to provide Nancy Pelosi with enough wiggle room to get it passed by the House. But Massa’s Sunday bombshell, which is lighting up the Internet and the cable talk shows, has the public’s attention refocused on the unseemly spectacle of the Democrats in Washington trying to jam through their health care bill over the public’s objections.

By the way, what is up with Rahm Emanuel confronting Massa in the shower, naked as a J-bird?

Rep. Massa describes a confrontation with Emanuel in a shower: “I am showering, naked as a jaybird, and here comes Rahm Emanuel, not even with a towel wrapped around his tush, poking his finger in my chest, yelling at me.”

The question has been all day, could Eric Massa rescind his resignation? Although Massa’s rant and outing of the Obama Administration and Democrat power elite was refreshing, signs point to no as to him staying in DC. After the bridges he just burned and dealing with the Chicago way from this WH, he might just wake up tomorrow morning with a horse head in his bead.
