RUDY … RUDY … RUDY!!!

Rudy Giuliani, will be or won’t he run for NY Governor or will he instead run for the US Senate seat for New York? What ever his choice may be, you can bet that the former NYC Mayor who became America’s Mayor following September 11 will have a great shot of winning for the GOP.

The rumors are ramped in what will be next in the political career of Rudy Giuliani.

The Daily News is reporting that Rudy has decided against running for NY Governor, but instead will strongly consider running for the US Senate seat instead.

However, it is being reported that by a spokeswoman for Rudy Giuliani that the former New York City mayor has not made up his mind about running for governor next year. Rumors, rumors, rumors. Maybe this bit of polling from Rasmussen might sway Rudy, according to the poll Rudy is far ahead in the Senate race as opposed to a virtual tie for the Governorship against Andrew Cuomo.

Maria Comella’s comments were in response to report Thursday in the New York Times that Giuliani had decided not to run for New York governor in 2010, according to people who have been told of his decision.

“Rudy has a history of making up his own mind and has no problem speaking it. When Mayor Giuliani makes a decision about serving in public office, he will inform New Yorkers on his own,” said Comella in a statement.

What about the US Senate seat for NY? According to a recent Marist poll, the hypothetical match up between Rudy and appointed Senator Kirsten Gillibrand has Rudy ahead 54% to 40%. I would have to agree with Real Clear Politics that if Rudy did win the election, he would not then just jump into another campaign and run for President in 2012. That is one of the arguments against Barack Obama. The NY voters are going to want to know that if they vote for him, Rudy will at least stay for one term.

But, what if Giuliani makes a bid for the U.S. Senate?  Giuliani leads U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, the Democrat appointed by Governor David Paterson to fill the vacant seat left by Hillary Clinton.  54% of registered voters statewide would vote for Giuliani compared with 40% who would support Gillibrand.  Even one-third of Democrats report they would back the Republican challenger, and Giuliani runs competitively against Gillibrand in overwhelmingly Democratic New York City.

Why is the LEFT and the MSM so afraid of Sarah Palin? Sarah Palin may be “Going Rogue,” the MSM is going mental with SPDS.

The reaction from liberals and the MSM to Sarah Palin’s new book just proves what many have said all along and all have noticed since Palin came on the scene as McCain’s VP candidate. Palin is treated unfairly and like no other politician. The attention that she received from the LEFT and the media, one would think that she was Bin Laden. A year removed from the campaign and once again America sees the mistreatment and over the top treatment of Sarah Palin. Love her or hate her, it is irrelevant.

Imagine, just imagine is the MSM had spent as much time vetting Barack Hussein Obama instead of worshiping at the alter of The Obamamessiah … do you really think he ever would have been elected if Obama was reported to be prior to the election what he is today? Not a chance.

Is the MSM bias … You betcha!

AP shows it’s liberal media bias by devoting 11 reporters to fact check Sarah Palin’s new book “Going Rogue: while they never did such a thing regarding any book written by Barack Obama, Joe Biden or Al Gore. So while AP closes bureaus and lay off staff and cut costs by 10%, they can find 11 reporters to hand one specific task?

The AP claims Palin misstated her record with regard to travel expenses and taxpayer-funded bailouts, using statements widely reported elsewhere. But it also speculated into Palin’s motives for writing “Going Rogue: An American Life,” stating as fact that the book “has all the characteristics of a pre-campaign manifesto.” [no liberal bias here calling it a manifesto].

Palin quickly hit back on a Facebook post titled “Really? Still Making Things Up?”

“Imagine that,” the post read. “11 AP reporters dedicating time and resources to tearing up the book, instead of using the time and resources to ‘fact check’ what’s going on with Sheik Mohammed’s trial, Pelosi’s health care takeover costs, Hasan’s associations, etc. Amazing.”

It is a sad and pathetic state of our liberal bias and state run media as Sarahcuda was quoted as saying, “11 AP reporters dedicating time and resources to tearing up the book, instead of using the time and resources to ‘fact check’ what’s going on with Sheik Mohammed’s trial, Pelosi’s health care takeover costs, Hasan’s associations, …”

What might be more comical is that some are saying that Going Rogue is a gold mine. Of course it is. News flash to the liberal and political elites … many people associate with Sarah Palin. She is of, by and for the people. Some are worried that she is sucking the oxygen out of the room with her book and book tour. One would think that Obama, Pelosi and Reid would love this so that their socialist antics are not on display.

However, the fact of the matter is that Palin’s new book sales are through the roof and an even greater threat to Democrats is that her favorable ratings are going up as well. RUT-ROH!

Palin has been mentioned as a possible presidential candidate in 2012, along with a host of other Republicans. Among self-identified Republicans in the survey, Palin gets the highest favorable ratings (70 percent) amid a group of other possible contenders for the GOP nomination, including Mike Huckabee (63 percent), Mitt Romney (60 percent) and Newt Gingrich (58 percent). Palin’s favorable score among all voters is 47 percent, up nine percentage points over last July’s reading of 38 percent.

Be very careful liberals, Democrats and MSM of how you play your hand as the backlash might just be tenfold of your personal and petty attacks against Sarah Palin and her family. You had your chance to destroy her and failed. American and America’s have a much different view these days of you media liberal bias and hateful press … Obama is not the “Golden child” any more and “We the People” want change and it ain’t Barack Hussein Obama.

What makes their heart so black that they would take the life of another just to know what it was like? Now compound the issue with the fact that it was a 15 year old girl that murdered an innocent 9 year old girl with premeditated malice aforethought.

Alyssa Bustamante – jail

15 year old Alyssa Bustamante strangled, stabbed, cut the throat and murdered 9 year old Elizabeth Olten. Why? According to Missouri State Highway Patrol Sgt. David Rice, “Ultimately, she stated she wanted to know what it felt like!”

Rice, who interviewed Bustamante in the days after Elizabeth’s disappearance, said she confessed to investigators and led them to the fourth grader’s well-concealed body in a wooded area near their neighborhood in St. Martins, a small town west of Jefferson City.

A Cole County judge ruled Wednesday that Bustamante, who has been held in Missouri’s juvenile justice system, should be tried as an adult. Hours later, the teen was indicted on adult charges of first-degree murder and armed criminal action for allegedly using a knife to kill Elizabeth. A judge later entered a not guilty plea on Bustamante’s behalf and referred her to the public defender’s office.

15 year old Alyssa Bustamante has been indicted for 1st degree murder of 9 year old Elizabeth Olten. Why type of dark individual plots such an act and then follows through with it? There had to be red flags yet once again we see that no one intervened. The end result, a murdered 9 year old and a 15 year old whose life is over.

Alyssa Bustamante dug two holes in the ground that she would later use for a grave on the Friday prior to the murder. This cold hearted, dark individual then attended classes and plotted the murder of he 9 year old neighbor Alyssa Bustamante.

9 year old Elizabeth Olten went missing on October 21, 2009.

Alyssa Bustamante plotted and murdered Elizabeth Olten with malice and aforethought just to know what it death felt like. UNREAL. One might say that she could have saved the family and friends of Elizabeth Olten much pain if Bustamante had practiced on her self instead. Who does this? Better than that, how could no one around her have seen the signs?  Bustamante had tried to commit suicide at the age of 13.

Yet Bustamante had tried to commit suicide at age 13 and had been receiving mental health treatment for depression and cutting herself, said David Cook, the chief juvenile officer in Cole County. Once, she led her family to believe she was attending a local church event when she instead sneaked off to a concert in St. Louis, about two hours away, Cook said. On one or two other occasions, Bustamante spent the night in the woods without permission, he said.

After her arrest, Bustamante tried to cut herself with her own fingernails while being held in juvenile custody, said her appointed juvenile defense attorney Kurt Valentine.

Bustamante was ordered held without bond pending her trial. If convicted of first-degree murder, she would be sentenced to life in prison without parole. Sadly, there is no death penalty as Alyssa Bustamante’s curiosity with knowing what death felt like could have been provided to her as justice for her crimes.

And in typical defense attorney speak … appointed juvenile defense attorney Kurt Valentine said that if placed in an adult jail, “We are throwing away the child and we are signing a death sentence for Alyssa,” Maybe Alyssa Bustamante should have contemplated that consequence before she did the crime and took the life of an innocent 9 year old in such a heinous manner. One might say that Bustamante is already a lost cause.

He argued Bustamante should remain in the juvenile system, where she could potentially be rehabilitated before being set free by age 21. Valentine warned that Bustamante would either kill herself or be assaulted and killed by others if she were placed in an adult jail cell or prison.

“We are throwing away the child and we are signing a death sentence for Alyssa,” Valentine said. “She is not going to survive her time in the Cole County jail.”

The Reverend Jackson has once again shown he is a divider, not a uniter. What would this man ever do for a living if races actually got along in peace and harmony. Sadly, we may never know as this race-baiter will see fit that it never occurs.

Jesse Jackson says that “You can’t vote against healthcare and call yourself a black man.” Really? What would they be called Rev. Jackson, a racist? Or as The Other McCain opines, “Congratulations to this overnight Caucasian! He is now a man who can join the Klan. Send the word to Senator Bob Byrd”.

The remark stirred a murmur at the reception, held by the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) Foundation as part of a series of events revolving around the 25th anniversary of Jackson’s run for president. Several CBC members were in attendance, including Chairwoman Barbara Lee (D-Calif.), who’d introduced Jackson.

Davis, who is running for governor, is the only black member of Congress from Alabama.

If you don’t vote for Obamacare, you’ll change from being a black man

Who knew that is you did not vote for Obamacare that you could not be black. Does that mean if Artur Davis’ Democratic primary opponent, Ron Sparks, who is white would vote for the health care bill that it would make him white?

From Another Black Conservative … “Leave it to Jesse to do his part to make sure no blacks wander off the white liberal plantation.  Imagine that, the black skin the good Lord gave you isn’t good enough unless you buy into socialized medicine”.

Amen brother. Leave it to Jesse Jackson to qualify what makes one black. No divisiveness there. Imagine saying to anyone that unless you do this and pray at the alter of Obama and socialized, single payer, government controlled health care, you are not black.

Remember when every one said that once Barack Obama was elected President and America had it’s first black President that race relations would change? How ya like that race baiting change now? Change eh? I dare say sadly it may have got worse.

Can anyone imagine if the word “black” was replaced with “white” and a Caucasian Republican made the comment?

Wake up America, there are those that have a vested interest in keeping people at each others throats.

Alyssa Bustamante: portrait of a troubled teen

Alyssa Bustamante will stand trial as an adult for the murder of Elizabeth Olten. Court documents said that Bustamante allegedly strangled, stabbed and cut Olten’s throat on Oct. 21 — the day Elizabeth went missing. She also is charged with armed criminal action for using a knife in the attack.

It was probably the crime blogs worst kept secret as it had been speculated from the minute that Elizabeth Olten’s body was found and that an unnamed 15 year old was charged with the crime.  Alyssa Bustamante’s name came on the radar as an obvious suspect in the crime of first missing, then murdered Elizabeth Olten. No one wanted to publically say any thing as she was a minor.

TROUBLED TEEN

But there is also a troubled side to this teen.

Her You Tube page lists her hobbies as “killing people and cutting.”

In fact, juvenile court says they have had to trim her fingernails because she was using them to cut-up her arms.

She also tried to commit suicide in September 2007 and was hospitalized. Alyssa then received intense, sometimes daily therapy since that incident.

She has also been taking Prozac to combat her depression.

Alyssa’s Twitter page shows what some call “dark” postings, talking about bad decisions and be buried.

Juvenile court officials said during Wednesday’s hearing that Alyssa went through a short gothic phase, dressing in all black clothes, last year while attending Simonsen Ninth Grade Center.

Stem, NC– Late last evening Police investigating the disappearance and presumed murder of Kelly Morris located what they believe to be her remains.

Scott Morris, the victims husband and long time suspect in his wife’s disappearance, was arrested and remanded into custody immediately following the discovery.

This latest milestone in the ever-rising journey of the National Debt comes less than eight months after it hit $11 trillion for the first time. The latest high-point is not unexpected, considering the federal deficit for the just-ended 2009 fiscal year hit an all-time high at $1.42-trillion – more than triple the previous year’s record high.

Much of the increase in the deficit and debt is attributed to government spending outpacing revenue – both exacerbated by the recession and the government response to it – including hundreds of billions in bailouts and stimulus spending and tax cuts along with decreased tax revenues due to rising unemployment.

How is that “Hope & Change” looking now America? US National debt now at a record high over $12 trillion … that’s $38,974.34 for every man, woman and child in America.

After all his promises, after all his teleprompter speeches, after all his talk of change, Barack Hussein Obama is nothing more that a super-sized tax and spend liberal. Make that socialist.

All this an still we have unemployment over 10%.

With a straight face President Barack Obama said that there is a need to bring the rising deficit and debt under control. Really Sherlock, what was your first sign? Mean while back at the ranch, Obama looks to ram through Congress a $1.3 trillion health care boondoggle.

40 year old women, no soup, um … no mammograms for you!

Be very afraid America … this is no coincidence that such a recommendation came out now as Obama and Democrats try and pass universal healthcare. How do you think that a government run option can afford to pay for 41 million new insured’s, they cut costs by calling screenings or procedures unnecessary. Welcome to the trial balloon birth of rationed health care.

A Government Task Force has stated that self-breast exams do no good and some women don’t need to start getting mammograms until they’re 50. Welcome to the beginning of Obamacare and socialized, government controlled healthcare. This is how it begins, a government task force turning decades old health care breast screening protocol on it’s head.

Shocking recommendations given the American Cancer Society has encouraged women for more than 20 years to do monthly self-exams and start getting routine mammograms in their 40s.

The government task force, which is made up of doctors and scientists, reported getting screened too early causes false alarms and unnecessary biopsies.

Dr. Robert Pulliam, of Professional Medical Ultrasonics in Beckley, said early detection of any form of cancer increases survival rates.

How many woman in their 40’s are alive today because the received a mammograms and had early detection of breast cancer? In this day and age, sadly, pretty much every one knows some one who has had breast cancer. Personally, I think this is appalling. Having had so many relatives and friend’s moms and sisters be diagnosed with breast cancer in their 40’s … I take this personally. This is the slippery slope of health care when a so-called “independent” government task force of doctors try and change what has worked for years. Shame on you! 

In its first reevaluation of breast cancer screening since 2002, the independent government-appointed panel [talk about your oxymorons] recommended the changes, citing evidence that the potential harm to women having annual exams beginning at age 40 outweighs the benefit.

Coming amid a highly charged national debate over health-care reform and simmering suspicions about the possibility of rationing medical services, the recommendations immediately became enveloped in controversy.

Who are you going to put your trust in America, government shills, or The American Cancer Society? The Susan G. Komen Foundation that has done tremendous work in the battle against cancer had a comment or two regarding this so-called recommendation.

Executive director of the mid-Michigan Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation Chris Pearson said this government recommendation is scary.

What does the American Cancer Society have to say about this recommendation?

But the American Cancer Society, the American College of Radiology and other experts condemned the change, saying the benefits of routine mammography have been clearly demonstrated and play a key role in reducing the number of mastectomies and the death toll from one of the most common cancers.

“Tens of thousands of lives are being saved by mammography screening, and these idiots want to do away with it,” said Daniel B. Kopans, a radiology professor at Harvard Medical School. “It’s crazy — unethical, really.”

Lee Kernis, a manager at Brillstein Entertainment Partners who represented Mr. Ober for more than 20 years, said that Mr. Ober was found dead on Sunday. He said that Mr. Ober was last heard from on Saturday night, when he spoke to a friend and complained of a headache and flu-like symptoms. Mr. Ober told the friend that he was going to take something and would see a doctor as soon as possible.

Mr. Ober, who was born in Brookline, Mass. and raised in Hartford, Conn., grew up idolizing game show hosts like Bob Barker and Bob Eubanks, and went on to host four game shows of his own, including a revived version of “Make Me Laugh” in 1997. But his breakthrough came a decade earlier when Mr. Ober, a contestant on the televised talent show “Star Search,” became the host of the MTV series “Remote Control” in 1987.

I admit it, I watched this spoof game show all the time, back when MTV was actually worth watching. Remember when they used to actually play videos and be funny? CNN said of Ken Ober and his cult hit game show, “that MTV game show “Remote Control” was among the network’s first forays into non-music programming, has died at age 52. Might I add, one of the few forays that was successful.
