Deranged, Obama Kool-Aid Drinking NC Teacher Tonya Dixon-Neely Suspended With Pay After Telling Kids Not to Criticize the Obamamessiah (Update: Student Hunter Rogers Speaks Out)

The clueless and deranged NC teacher who told students that they could be arrested for criticizing President Barack Obama has been suspended with pay for her comments. Wow, you showed her. You just gave an Obama Kool-aid drinking so-called teacher who is more adept at spreading her liberal, Democrat agenda and love affair for Obama than to actually teach students an early summer vacation with pay. School officials also said there will be an investigation. Really?

Make no mistake about it the teacher, Tonya Dixon-Neely, was only suspended and the school district forced into making a statement because the student had the where with all to record the teachers out of control, deranged, moonbat rant defending Obama and attacking Mitt Romney. Thanks to the Internet and social media, the audio went viral and this hideous attempt of liberal indoctrination was exposed. This is what it has come to in public schools, teacher spreading this political agenda and threatening students that they could be jailed for daring to criticize Obama and express their 1st Amendment Rights to free speech.

A teacher at a Rowan County school has been suspended after getting national attention for a YouTube video that surfaced last week showing her yelling at her students, saying it’s wrong to criticize the president.

In the YouTube video, North Rowan High School teacher Tonya Dixon-Neely and her students were debating several political issues, including a discussion about President Obama and Republican candidate Mitt Romney.

The video, which was uploaded on May 14, had more than 178,000 views on YouTube as of Monday afternoon.  The story has been picked up by national media outlets, including Fox News and the New York Post.  Controversial radio host Rush Limbaugh discussed the issue on his radio show on Monday afternoon as well.

The school district was forced to released a statement on Monday regarding the unhinged and what has become all too typical example of bias public school teaching trying to spread a liberal agenda rather than educate students and allowing a free flow of ideas.

“The Rowan-Salisbury School System expects all students and employees to be respectful in the school environment and for all teachers to maintain their professionalism in the classroom.  This incident should serve as an education for all teachers to stop and reflect on their interaction with students. Due to personnel and student confidentiality, we cannot discuss the matter publicly.”

Jamie Wearing Fool is quick to point out the bias reporting of the bias suspended teacher. Isn’t it just peachy that the reporting of this story calls Rush Limbaugh the one who’s controversial here, not this illiterate nutcase teacher. Go figure? This is how bias the MSM is, they don’t even realize anymore that are bias. They just can’t help themselves.

Back to the illiterate nutcase teacher. How does anyone allow this teacher back in the classroom? From all accounts this is how the teacher usually acts and conducts herself. It was only until she was recorded and the audio went viral before she was outed. Note to students, it would appear that all will have to record their teachers in order to stop the liberal indoctrination. Another issue arises as well, this teacher totally lost control of the class and herself. How can a social studies teacher who has an inherent bias and liberal agenda act as Obama so likes to say … Fairly? The answer is, she can’t.

This is not the first time we have seen this slobbering love affair and bizarro behavior from our so-called educators. Remember the indoctrination of our youth in school when Obama was elected … Mmm, mmm, mmm … Barack Hussein Obama.

“Honestly, at the time I wanted to laugh at her, because I’ve been taught all my life that nobody can take your opinion,” Hunter Rogers said.  He said he knew that it takes an actual threat against the president, not just criticism, to be arrested.

Hunter Rogers and his mother Gina spoke to Fox News about the incident and the recording of the argument that later went viral on YouTube.

“(The teacher) doesn’t want to hear anything but what she believes, and … if you disagree, you get berated and put down,” Rogers said. “I just decided to finally get some proof of it.”

C-SPAN Founder Brian Lamb to Step Down as Chief Executive

Its the end of an era at C-SPAN … 70 year old Brian Lamb, the founder of C-SPAN will step down as chief executive effective April 1, 2012.  Lamb is handing over leadership to two co-CEOs, Rob Kennedy and Susan Swain. Brian Lamb will remain chairman of the board, with the new title of executive chairman. It is hard to believe that C-SPAN has been on the air for 33 years. For us political news junkies what would we have done without C-SPAN over the years?  Many of us today take C-SPAN, C-SPAN 2 and C-SPAN 3 for granted, but 33 years ago when it all started “We the People” could never see what actually went on in the “People’s” House.

Brian Lamb, who created the revolutionary nonprofit cable television network C-Span in the late 1970s and has been its public face ever since, is handing it over to two lieutenants, Rob Kennedy and Susan Swain.

Effective April 1, they will become the co-chief executives of C-Span and Mr. Lamb will become the executive chairman, formalizing a management change that has been years in the making. Mr. Lamb will continue to host “Q&A,” his Sunday night interview program, and will pursue other interests, like teaching.

The announcement will come on Monday, 33 years to the day that C-Span — short for Cable-Satellite Public Affairs Network — came onto cable television, predating CNN and ESPN.

Alamo Heights Defeat San Antonio Edison in Basketball …Chanting USA, USA, USA is Now Considered Racist in the America … What Has Happen to Our Country?

KSAT reported that a racial incident took place following a high school basketball game between Alamo Heights and San Antonio Edison. The racial incident, the Alamo Heights fans chanted USA, USA, USA. HUH??? Because one team has a predominate amount of Hispanics on their team, it is considered racism to chant USA. They are actually apologizing for the incident and demanding the students apologize. APOLOGIZE FOR WHAT!!! We still do have a US Constitution and a First Amendment of Free Speech, correct? I am so sick of people crying racism, where there is none. How in the hell is chanting USA racism? If anyone actually thinks that, it might be time for you to leave …

But it was just after the trophy presentation when the coach was not proud of the chant coming from Alamo Heights fans.

“USA, USA, USA,” they chanted.

San Antonio Independent School District officials took the chant as a racial insult to a school with all minority players from a school with mostly white ones.

On the KSAT 12 Defenders Facebook page, Santos Villarreal’s post reads “this has to stop.”

SAISD Spokeswoman Leslie Price heard about the incident after it had happened.

“This is very disrespectful to our students,” Price said.

She said the district is glad the coach put a stop to the chant immediately and hopes Alamo Heights addresses it quickly.

“It is surprising and it’s disappointing to hear that anyone would be out there making those kind of remarks,” Price said.

Edison students who attended Saturday’s game were shocked when they heard the chant. Some thought the fans of the victors should have been better behaved.

How dare all those racists chant USA, USA, USA during “Miracle on Ice” at the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid, NY. This is how sadly low our country has become. I will say this, if any one thinks that chanting USA is bad or shameful … LEAVE, LEAVE RIGHT NOW!!! Are the kids from the predominantly Hispanic high school not attending school and living in the USA? Nuff said.

Just curious, what’s next not playing the United States National Anthem before sporting events, is that racist? How about America the Beautiful, is that racist? Or wearing Hispanic heritage clothing on Cinco de Mayo while making other take off their USA clothes is ok as well.

Alamo Heights Superintendent Dr. Kevin Brown also apologized for the chant.

“We just hope that people know that that’s not who we are and we’re not going to let it happen again,” Brown said.

Alamo Heights has apologized to SAISD and the students identified will also have to apologize and have been banned from the state title games.

“We think that you have to earn a right to be there and that’s not a reflection of our school district,” Brown said.

I have one thing to say to those who were so offended  … USA, USA, USA!!!

Internet Censorship: SOPA Shelved Until ‘consensus’ is Found … PIPA still Has Vote on January 24th

It’s a start, but none of us should get a warm fuzzy until a stake is put through the heart of SOPA and PIPA.

The Internet can claim a victory, but do not get out the champagne and party favors just yet. As reported at The Hill, House Oversight Chairman Darrell Issa (R-CA) said early Saturday that Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA) promised him the House will not vote on the controversial Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) unless there is consensus on the bill.

“While I remain concerned about Senate action on the Protect IP Act, I am confident that flawed legislation will not be taken up by this House,” Issa said in a statement.  “Majority Leader Cantor has assured me that we will continue to work to address outstanding concerns and work to build consensus prior to any anti-piracy legislation coming before the House for a vote.”

The announcement comes just hours after Judiciary Chairman Lamar Smith (R-Texas), SOPA’s sponsor, made a major concession to the bill’s critics by agreeing to drop a controversial provision that would have required Internet service providers to block infringing websites.

However, Issa said that even without the site-blocking provision, the bill is “fundamentally flawed.”

Six Republican Senators have come forward to ask Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid to postpone the vote on PIPA; however, Independent socialist Senator has responded that the vote should go ahead as planned.

Late today came word that six Republican senators have asked Majority Leader Harry Reid to postpone a vote on Pro IP, also known as PIPA. The senators wrote: “Prior to committee action, some members expressed substantive concerns about the bill, and there was a commitment to resolve them prior to floor consideration.”

For those of you who do not know what SOPA and PIPA is, please familiarize yourself. It impacts all that use the Internet from bloggers to Facebook, from Google to YouTube.  These two bills are supposed to prevent on-line piracy; however, like ever poorly written bill, its the law of unintended circumstances that all that currently use the Internet can already see. Do we really want Congress to pass another bill into law where it has to be passed so that we can see whats in it? Bad legislation is bad legislation. It should cause pause for all, no matter if they are on the LEFT, RIGHT or CENTER, when a government looks to restrict Freedom of Speech under the guise of a piracy bill.  This is one issue where we can all come together and “JUST SAY NO” to SOPA and PIPA!

Did Congress actually think they were going to slip such a bill that would affect so many under the cloak of darkness? Shame on all of you who backed, supported and sponsored this bill. Many of which who are in complete retreat due to the backlash of “We the People”.

Reddit and maybe Wikipedia was supposed to go “dark” for 12 hours on January 18 to protest SOPA.  Maybe they will still do so to protest PIPA.  Imagine if YouTube, Facebook and Google went dark to protest as well? Maybe that is what it will take for law makers to realize that writing BS bills will not be tolerated.

Tis the Season … Santa Claus Dressed as Skeleton, Nailed to a Cross Removed from Public Christmas Display

Some things are beyond words. So a Nativity scene depicting the birth of Jesus Christ is offensive, but a skeleton dressed as Santa Claus nailed to a cross is not! Is this how low we have become in the US in our efforts to promote PC?

The War on Christmas continues as it is far game to offend Christianity. So only certain types of offensive free speech are allowed? Needless to say, an offended member of the community took down the offensive display.

The annual Leesburg dispute over holiday displays is getting as predictable as the rush of shoppers on Black Friday.

A skeleton, dressed as Santa Claus, nailed to a cross, was torn down by an enraged woman outside of the Loudoun County Courthouse.

The display was legally there, with the consent of the county, officials said.

Mary Czarnecki, a county resident, wasn’t having it. She, piece by piece and bone by bone, took “Skele-Claus” off the cross and laid him on the courthouse’s lawn.

“You don’t think this is offensive?”

The individual, Jeff Heflin, actually applied for approval with the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors to put up his anti-Christmas Season display.  He stated that his Christmas display “depicts how society’s materialistic obsessions and addictions are killing the season’s peace, love, joy and kindness.” Really?

I wonder what Church Jeff Heflin belongs to?

Oh, but get this … open minded words from an Atheist. This hypoctit says that people should keep an open mind about the skeleton dressed Santa. Really? The leader of the Northern Virginia Atheists, Rick Wingrove, says tearing down the display was illegal, and people should keep an open mind.

“Offense is in the eye of the beholder. We’re offended by the religious displays on government  property. We think it’s constitutionally improper,” Wingrove said.

Occupy South Carolina Sympathizer Arrested for Facebook Threats to Kill SC Governor Nikki Haley

The Occupy protesters continue to prove they are nothing like the Tea Party.

A South Carolina man who was an Occupy SC sympathizer has been arrested for Facebook threats he made against Governor Nikki Haley. Nathan Shafer was arrested for threatening to kill Haley as he posted, “I hope someone murders you before I do.” How ignorant could one be? However, when you think that you an Occupy protest sympathizer, you expect to get away with everything and have no consequences for your actions. Isn’t that what the movement has been about from the start?

A South Carolina man is accused of threatening the life of Gov. Nikki Haley on Facebook, but he claims he was only making a point about free speech.

When 26-year-old Nathan Shafer heard about the arrests of 19 Occupy Columbia members outside the State House last Wednesday, he did what lots of people do when they get angry — he vented about it on the Internet. He saw Gov. Haley’s Facebook post about the arrests and Haley’s comment that she “appreciate[s] freedom of speech,” and that’s when authorities say Shafer crossed the line.

“I hope someone murders you before I do,” Shafer said he commented on the post. “How’s that for freedom of speech?”

BRILLIANT IDIOT! I guess this Occupy brain surgeon never learned that making threats to kill some one was protected speech. But wait, this Occupy sympathizer thinks that this has been blown out of proprtion.Really? For any individual to call for death threats against anyone, no matter what political party, should be deemed reasonable and credible. Should we ignore the obvious and have another situation occur like in the case of the Tuscan massacre and the near death of  Arizona House Rep Gabby Giffords?

At issue, according to the court, is whether a “reasonable person” would view the statement in question as a genuine threat. In Shafer’s case, that remains to be seen.

Sorry, I do not care whether such a threat was made against Barack Obama or Nikki Haley, such acts should never be tolerated. In this day and age how can anyone really determine whether a “reasonable person” would view the statement in question as a genuine threat. Because the threat is coming for an “unreasonable person.” Allow this crap to continue and it will never stop. We are supposed to be a nation of laws, not a nation where anarchy rules. Sorry, but the US Constitution was never intended to protect smarmy SOB cowards from hiding behind their keyboards making death threats.

At some point a message has to be sent to the keyboard cowards, that there are consequences to your death threat actions.

Suffolk University Law School Professor Michael Avery Objects to Helping US Troops in Afghanistan

MOONBAT ALERT … Take a good look at what the far Left is saying in America and this whack job is teaching law to your kids.

Maybe sometimes people should use the age old adage of, if you have nothing good to say, don’t say anything at at.

Hint, Suffolk University Law School professor Michael Avery, this applies to you.  The law school professor actually had the audacity to object to the college getting donations for care packages for the Unites States military troops in Afghanistan.

Michael Avery, who is a Suffolk University Law School professor, unleashed his serious objection after the Suffolk Law staff asked the students for donations to send care packages to the troops in Afghanistan, even though the email also mentioned that a student at the school is serving overseas would be one of the recipients of the care package.

Avery’s email response was recorded on the Natural Truth by Michael Graham. Here is how Michael Avery starts his email:

”I think it is shameful that it is perceived as legitimate to solicit in an academic institution for support for men and woman who have gone overseas to kill other human beings. I understand that there is a residual sympathy for service members, perhaps engendered by support for troops in World War II, or perhaps from when there was a draft and people with few resources to resist were involuntarily sent to battle. That sympathy is not particularly rational in today’s world, however.

The United States may well be the most war prone country in the history of civilization. We have been at war two years out of three since the Cold War ended. We have 700 overseas military bases. What other country has any? In the last ten years we have squandered hundreds of billions of dollars in unnecessary foreign invasions. Those are dollars that could have been used for people who are losing their homes due to the economic collapse, for education, to repair our infrastructure, or for any of a thousand better purposes than making war. And of course those hundreds of billions of dollars have gone for death and destruction.”
