Finally, FBI Director James Comey Calls Chattanooga Shooting a ‘Terror Attack’

IT’S ABOUT TIME …

It appears the feds are finally calling the shootings that took place in Chattanooga, Tenn. that killed four U.S. Marines and one sailor, an act of terror. Better late than never I guess.  The shooter, identified as 24-year-old Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez, was also was killed during the terror attack. One has to wonder why there was ever a delay at all in calling this was it obviously was from the outset. FBI Director James Comey called the Chattanooga shooting a ‘terror attack’ during a press conference with NYPD commissioner Bill Bratton and stated, “the Chattanooga killer was inspired by a foreign terror organization.”

They may have been investigating the attacks from the beginning as an act of terror, but that is not what the Obama administration had been referring to it as.

The semantic dance of whether or not to call the July mass shooting in Chattanooga a “terrorist” attack appears to be winding down.

FBI Director James Comey twice called the deadly Chattanooga shooting that killed four Marines and one sailor a “terror attack” during a press conference with NYPD commissioner Bill Bratton on Wednesday. Bratton and Comey spoke after addressing the NYPD Shield Conference in New York City.

“We’ve investigated Chattanooga as a terror attack from the beginning,” Comey said. “The Chattanooga killer was inspired by a foreign terror organization. It’s hard to entangle which particular source…there are lots of competing poisons out there.”

That response came as Comey was asked to clarify an earlier statement in which he linked the root cause of the July 16 rampage by Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez, a naturalized U.S. citizen who was born in Kuwait, to the recent Islamic terrorist attack in San Bernardino.

Bank Records Show $28,500 Deposit to Syed Farook’s Account Two Weeks Before the San Bernardino Massacre and bank Transfers to His Mother

SO MR PRESIDENT, YOU THINK THIS WAS A LONE WOLF ACT OF TERRORISM AND NOT A SLEEPER CELL FUNDED BY ISIS, HUH? WRONG AGAIN!!!

FOX News is reporting that large deposits were made to Syed Farook’s bank account on or about November 18, some two weeks before he and his wife Tashfeen Malik carried out the San Bernardino massacre. A $28,500 deposit was made to Syed Farook’s bank account. Also, Fox is reporting that on or about Nov.20, Farook converted $10,000 to cash, and withdrew the money at a Union Bank branch in San Bernardino.  Afterwards, in the days before the shooting, there were at least three transfers of $5,000 that appear to be to Farook’s mother. Hmm, that’s why mom is being interrogated by the FBI. It is hard to believe this woman lived among this terror planning and bomb making and did not know what was going on. However, these bank transfers pose something even more, she may have been complicit and involved.

A $28,500 deposit was made to Syed Farook’s bank account from WebBank.com on or about Nov.18, some two weeks before he and his wife Tashfeen Malik carried out the San Bernardino massacre, a source close to the investigation told Fox News Monday.

Investigators are exploring whether the transaction was a loan taken out by Farook, who with his wife killed 14 and wounded 21 when they opened fire at a holiday lunch.  He earned $53,000 a year with the county as an environmental health inspector.

On its website, the Utah-headquartered WebBank.com describes itself as “a leading provider of national consumer and commercial private-label and bank card financing programs” on a nationwide basis.

On or about Nov.20, Fox News is told Farook converted $10,000 to cash, and withdrew the money at a Union Bank branch in San Bernardino.  Afterwards, in the days before the shooting, there were at least three transfers of $5,000 that appear to be to Farook’s mother.

U.S. STATE DEPARTMENT ISSUES TRAVEL WARNING DUE TO INCREASED TERROR THREATS … OBAMA’S NEW TERROR PLAN, BE AFRAID.

New York Daily News

Ahead of the busiest travel season for Americans, the U.S. State Department has issued a travel alert for U.S. citizens to possible risks of travel due to increased terrorist threats. Although the State Department claims there has been no credible intelligence regarding a specific threat, they are still putting forth the warning. So what do they really know that they are not telling us? The Daily Caller makes an interesting point, Travel alerts are not uncommon for the State Department as they routinely issue warnings for Americans traveling abroad to various hotspots to on guard or consider canceling their plans altogether. However, in light of recent events, the State Department has taken the unusual step of issuing a “Worldwide Travel Alert.”

So be safe in your travels both home and abroad and of course there is no such thing as radical Islam tied to terrorism.

The State Department alerts U.S. citizens to possible risks of travel due to increased terrorist threats. Current information suggests that ISIL (aka Da’esh), al-Qa’ida, Boko Haram, and other terrorist groups continue to plan terrorist attacks in multiple regions.  These attacks may employ a wide variety of tactics, using conventional and non-conventional weapons and targeting both official and private interests.  This Travel Alert expires on February 24, 2016.

Authorities believe the likelihood of terror attacks will continue as members of ISIL/Da’esh return from Syria and Iraq.  Additionally, there is a continuing threat from unaffiliated persons planning attacks inspired by major terrorist organizations but conducted on an individual basis.  Extremists have targeted large sporting events, theatres, open markets, and aviation services.  In the past year, there have been multiple attacks in France, Nigeria, Denmark, Turkey, and Mali.  ISIL/Da’esh has claimed responsibility for the bombing of a Russian airliner in Egypt.

U.S. citizens should exercise vigilance when in public places or using transportation.  Be aware of immediate surroundings and avoid large crowds or crowed places.  Exercise particular caution during the holiday season and at holiday festivals or events.  U.S. citizens should monitor media and local information sources and factor updated information into personal travel plans and activities.  Persons with specific safety concerns should contact local law enforcement authorities who are responsible for the safety and security of all visitors to their host country.

NFL Plans to Increase Stadium Security Following Paris Islamic Terror Attacks

NFL PLANS TO BEEF UP SECURITY FOLLOWING TERRORIST ATTACKS IN PARIS …

The NFL has announced in the wake of the deadly radical Islamist attacks in Paris, France on Friday that they will step up security on Sunday at stadiums across the National Football League. Although, the NFL beefed up security big time following 9/11 and have kept those practices in place, their focus will probably be more in the parking lots than inside the games. Even in France, the security nabbed the Muslim terrorist trying to enter the soccer match wearing an explosive vest. The video here shows the incident as the game was playing, the terrorist blew himself up after he had been identified.

However, I can say this. If some radical Islamist ever thought to try and kill innocents at a NFL football game, the folks tailgating in the parking lot would beat them to a bloody pulp like no one has ever seen before. I dare you, go to a Raiders game and see if you make it alive out of the Black Hole!

The NFL announced Saturday that it will have “an increased security and law enforcement presence” at games this weekend, a response to terrorist attacks in Paris that included explosions outside France’s national soccer stadium.

The league said in a statement that it has been in communication with the Department of Homeland Security and the FBI since Friday’s attacks and “that there are no known threats against NFL stadiums.”

But the NFL announced it has arranged to have additional security both inside the 13 stadiums that will host games Sunday and Monday and in the parking lots surrounding them.

The NFL’s standard security program, which includes metal detector screening, was certified by the Department of Homeland Security in 2008. The league recommended Saturday that fans avoid bringing bags of any type to games to avoid long, thorough search procedures.

The league also said a moment of silence will be held before all games this weekend to honor the victims. Home teams will be moving back opening kickoffs by 4 minutes so broadcast networks can carry the moment of silence and the National Anthem live.
