Barack Obama has pretty much disillusions ed every one that voted for him in 2008, no voting block more than the college age youth.  They have gone from the Obama generation in 2008 to the “DEBT GENERATION”. In 2008 more than 2/3 of America’s youth voted for Barack Obama; however, little did the naive college kids know that Barack Obama would hang them out to dry and create an out of control debt of political gifts that they would be responsible for. Many of them now regret that they ever voted for Obama. The One handed out gifts like Santa Claus; however, Santa does not charge you for the gifts he gives, Obama does. Fewer young voters see themselves as Democrats and unlike 2008, the Obama magic is gone. The bloom is off the rose and Obama is not perceived as “Hope & Change” but instead the same old, same old of an establishment politician.

Mark Oxner Campaign Ad for Florida District 27 … “Turn This Ship Around” … ““let’s not enslave our children with debt”

And now for a campaign ad that is completely different … from Mark Oxner for Congress. Oxner appears to be running against liberal flame thrower and  former Democratic Rep. Alan Grayson, who was booted out of his District 8 office in 2010. The New Times actually calls it a “slave ship,” as depicted in the ad. Really? Have the libs at the NY Times not noticed the mountain of debt that Obama has strapped future generations to come with? Sorry if this ad does not meet the NY Times politically correct standards.

File this one under wackiest political advertisement ever made — or, at the least, one of the oddest to date. You may think that I’m being dramatic here, but take a moment to watch the 39-second clip called, “Turn This Ship Around,” that was recently created and released by the Mark Oxner campaign.

Oxner, a Republican, is hoping to win the District 27 congressional seat in Florida come November. His new video, which departs wildly from more issue-based campaign pleas, is turning heads for more reasons than one.

The bizarre ad takes place on a vessel that looks like pirate ship — but with some amenities. The New Times actually calls  calls it a “slave ship.” While there’s no definitive way to determine that this is, indeed, intended to invoke images and themes related to slavery, footage of children rowing the massive boat with a voiceover that says “let’s not enslave our children with debt,” only add fuel to the fire.

Just curious, when Obama and Democrats only want to increase taxes and spending on the backs of the American people and continually increase the debt on the Chinese credit card, have record numbers on food stamps, high unemployment and actually stopping a work projects like the Keystone XL Pipeline that chooses Saudi and Venezuelan oil over Canada … what else would one call it?

The proposed District 27 is supposed to  encompass most of Oceola County, plus bits of Orange and Polk counties, if the map survives probable challenges in court.

Pelosi’s Daughter Says She Wants (Prefers) to Retire … Now Pelosi’s Office Says Daughter is Wrong when she Says the California Democrat wants to Leave Politics

This has all the making of a 1970′s Miller Lite Beer commercial with the former and dearly departed Yankees manager Billy Martin and owner George Steinbrenner.

Just the other day it was reported by Big Government that Nancy Pelosi’s daughter, Alexandra Pelosi said her mother wants to leave Congress and that she remains in Washington only at the behest of her campaign donors. Of course my first thought was, wow, what a martyr Pelosi is. Heavy is the crown that Pelosi wears.  Pelosi borrows a line from God Father III, “Just when I thought I was out…they pull me back in.”

She would retire right now, if the donors she has didn’t want her to stay so badly. They know she wants to leave, though. They think she’s destined for the wilderness. She has very few days left. She’s 71, she wants to have a life, she’s done. It’s obligation, that’s all I’m saying.

There are many of us that want her to retire right now as well.

Well, looks like the news has hit Nancy Peloi’s $10,000 a night hotel room in Hawaii. A spokesman for Democrat House Minority Leader Pelosi says that the story just is not true. How could Pelosi think of leaving Congress, how would she be able to use inside government information to make stock trades? Outside of the Beltway, this would be a crime.

However, the point could be moot after the 2012 elections if Democrats lose even more seats in the House, the GOP regains control of the Senate and Obama loses reelection. If any one, two or all three of these things occur, Democrats are going to have to go a different direction in leadership. It is hard to imagine that Pelosi would stay in Congress as just a back bencher.

Nadeam Elshami, a spokesman for the House minority leader, said it’s simply not true.

“This may be wishful thinking on the part of a right-wing blog, but it is totally untrue,” Elshami said. “When the day comes and Leader Pelosi’s work is done, she won’t be announcing it there.”

Alexandra Pelosi didn’t deny uttering the remark but declined to expand in an email to POLITICO.

One way or another, if Dems lose control of the Senate, Obama loses or the House goes further Republican … Democrats will look for new leadership in the House and Nancy Pelosi will retire.

Obama Campaign, Are they Smarter than a 5th Grader, NO … Cannot Do Math on Payroll Tax Cut

From the Pundit Press comes the following perils of wisdom and math from the Obama campaign. First they played politics with the payroll tax cut that funds social security, now it appears that they cannot do simply math. Is the Obama campaign smarter than a 5th grader, Not even close.

The Obama Campaign has launched a coordinated effort urging people to save money… or something.  On their official Wisconsin, California, and Indiana twitter feeds, the President’s campaign is slamming Republicans for their supposed “fuzzy math.”  Unfortunately for Obama, he is employing idiots.

Cannot multiply forty times twelve.  By the way, forty times twelve equals four hundred eighty dollars, by my estimation.

Actually I think that they might also need lessons in writing. The payroll tax cut is not $40 a month, its most likely $40 a pay period. However, how does Obama’s minions get to $1000, $40 x 26 pay periods, when they (OBAMA AND DEMOCRATS) only extended it for TWO MONTHS!!! It was the GOP that wanted to pass a bill that extended the payroll tax cuts for a year. What Obama and the Senate Democrats wanted only amounts to $160.

Warren Buffett Tells Congress To Raise Taxes On Wealthy … NO, STOP THE SPENDING!!!

Warren Buffet continues at ask Congress that the rich need to pay more taxes. Is mega-rich really those who make $1 million?

Even in the ABC News story, they point out that Buffet’s request to raise taxes on the rich of those who make more than a $1 million a year would only produce $100 billion in taxes over 10 years.  That does not even come close to putting a dent into the US national debt. Tax expers say that this does not even come close to doing much of anything.

THE ANSWER IS NOT TAXING MORE … ITS REAL TAX REFORM AND ITS STOP SPENDING!!!

Warren Buffett, one of the richest men in the country, wants to pay more taxes and thinks his super-rich friends should too.

Buffett, who is estimated to be worth more than $47 billion, called on Congress to commit to “shared sacrifice” and raise taxes on people earning more than $1 million. Buffett said the rich are “coddled” by Congress “as if we were spotted owls or some other endangered species.”

“While the poor and middle class fight for us in Afghanistan, and while most Americans struggle to make ends meet, we mega-rich continue to get our extraordinary tax breaks,” Buffett wrote in a Sunday New York Times Op-ed.

Of course I would ask the following question of Warren Buffett, if you are begging the government to tax and and the uber-rich more, why are you fighting the IRS in back taxes? One would think that if you think you should pay more taxes, you would not owe back taxes. I would think you would be happy to pay the bill.

The answer is not one of increasing taxes, the answer is to reduce government and entitlement spending and increasing the tax base, not tax %. Also, we need tax reform, not tax increases.

In the end, it’s just more liberal hypocrisy.

Merry Christmas from Barack Obama … Taxing All Christmas Trees 15¢, Bah Humbug (UPDATE: Tax Delayed)

The Obama Administration will tax your hopes and dreams next … oh wait, they already have.

Have these people no shame? What do Americans need in the midst of an economic downturn, 9% unemployment and out of control federal debt … A Christmas tree tax of course! How in the hell does one create a Christmas tree tax? By the way, are we supposed to call them Christmas trees, or are they Holiday trees? Try and figure this circular logic out. The out of control intrusive federal government is taxing Christmas trees in order to market the image of the trees? HUH?  The mere presence of the tax is going to give the trees a negative image. But what else can we expect from an Obama administration that would find a reason to tax everything and anything.

President Obama’s Agriculture Department today announced that it will impose a new 15-cent charge on all fresh Christmas trees—the Christmas Tree Tax—to support a new Federal program to improve the image and marketing of Christmas trees.

In the Federal Register of November 8, 2011, Acting Administrator of Agricultural Marketing David R. Shipman announced that the Secretary of Agriculture will appoint a Christmas Tree Promotion Board.  The purpose of the Board is to run a “program of promotion, research, evaluation, and information designed to strengthen the Christmas tree industry’s position in the marketplace; maintain and expend existing markets for Christmas trees; and to carry out programs, plans, and projects designed to provide maximum benefits to the Christmas tree industry” (7 CFR 1214.46(n)).  And the program of “information” is to include efforts to “enhance the image of Christmas trees and the Christmas tree industry in the United States” (7 CFR 1214.10).

As Conservatives4Palin states, just when did this country become so screwed up? When did we need a government to tell us how to “enhance” our Christmas trees?  Further, when did we need them to charge us for it? Agreed! What won’t they tax?

OBAMA HAS NO CLASS: Drops a Key Part of Obamacare … CLASS, Long Term Health Care Dumped as Unsustainable

How many lies has Barack Obama and his minions told the American people? Following the insanity of  Nancy Pelosi’s comment that we must pass the bill in order to find out what is in it. Most honest and intelligent people knew Obamacare was BS and an unfordable cluster. It would appear that Obama now agrees.

How bad and worthless is Obamacare, they are already starting to dismantle the worthless healthcare scheme even before the SCOTUS has a chance to declare in unconstitutional and the GOP has a chance to repeal it.  This afternoon on a Friday, hoping the miss the news cycle, the Obama administration announced that CLASS is being eliminated because it’s too expensive. Who knew, other than all of us. CLASS, the Community Living Assistance Services and Supports program was a fiscal nightmare from the outset, yet that did not stop Obama and democrats from ramming it all down the throats of Americans. However, who knew there really was “death panels” in Obamacare? It would appear that the pathetic law may actually crumble under its own fiscal lies.

The Obama administration Friday pulled the plug on a major program in the president’s signature health overhaul law – a long-term care insurance plan dogged from the beginning by doubts over its financial solvency.

Targeted by congressional Republicans for repeal, the program became the first casualty in the political and policy wars over the health care law. It had been expected to launch in 2013.

“This is a victory for the American taxpayer and future generations,” said Sen. John Thune, R-S.D., spearheading opposition in the Senate. “The administration is finally admitting (the long-term care plan) is unsustainable and cannot be implemented.”

Proponents, including many groups that fought to pass the health care law, have vowed a vigorous effort to rescue the program, insisting that Congress gave the administration broad authority to make changes. Long-term care includes not only nursing homes, but such services as home health aides for disabled people.

Best title of the Obama admission that Obamacare is unfordable and unsustainable, from the Lonely Conservative … CLASS DISMISSED!!! But wait, I thought the CBO stated that CLASS would account for $70 billion in deficit reduction? However, the reality was that CLASS was a fiscal disaster and they knew it. THEY LIED!

CLASS: THE UNTOLD STORY

It is now widely acknowledged that the alleged savings from the CLASS Act are illusory. The month after PPACA passed, Rick Foster, Chief Actuary of HHS’ Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), released a report indicating that the CLASS Act was not fiscally sound.2 The chief actuary is a non-partisan, high-ranking official in CMS whose estimates are critical in understanding current health care law and proposed changes to the law.

Senate Budget Committee Chairman Kent Conrad, a supporter of the PPACA legislation, publicly called the CLASS program “a Ponzi scheme of the first order, the kind of thing Bernie Madoff would be proud of.”3 In testimony before Congress, HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius conceded that the CLASS program is “totally unsustainable” in its current form.4

But these concessions came long after PPACA had been signed into law. As a result of this investigation, it is now clear that some officials inside HHS warned for months before passage that the CLASS program would be a fiscal disaster. Within HHS the program was repeatedly referred to as “a recipe for disaster” with “terminal problems.” As this report will show, the chief actuary stated on numerous occasions that the program was not fiscally sustainable and would result in what he referred to as an “insurance death spiral.”

According to emails and other documents obtained pursuant to this investigation, senior leadership of HHS and Democratic staff in the Senate and House reviewed these warnings but did not change the law and did not inform the public of the doubts about the CLASS Act. Instead, the officials continued to claim that the program would be sound, sustainable, and actually produce budget savings that could help pay for other parts of the health care law.

As Allah Pundit at Hot Air stated, “what a total debacle, and the punchline is, everyone saw it coming — including the Democrats who went ahead and voted anyway to bring this Frankenstein to life”. What the Astute Blogger said …  “OBAMACARE IS A FRAUDULENT, CORRUPT, SOCIALISTIC PIECE OF CRAP AND IT WAS FROM THE GETGO. WE NEED TO TOSS OBAMA FROM OFFICE AND REPEAL IT.” We second the motion.

Obamacare is a fraud, Obama is a fraud and so are all the politicians that voted for it.  Remember this in 2012 when voting. Who were the people that intentionally lied to “We the People”.  Folks in Florida, Nebraska, Pennsylvania, Ohio, New Mexico, North Dakota, Minnesota, Missouri, Michigan, Wisconsin and Virginia when you vote for US  Senate races and votes against Senators like … Ben Nelson (NE), Sherrod Brown (OH), Robert Casey (PA), Bill Nelson (FL), Claire McCaskill (MO) and the numerous others who voted for Obamacare against the will of the American people.

Priceless … Even Warren Buffett Does not Support Obama’s “Buffett” Rule

IT WOULD APPEAR THAT OBAMA AND BUFFETT HAVE A DIFFERENT DEFINITION AS TO WHO IS CONSIDERED RICH AND WHO SHOULD BE PAYING MORE TAXES.

How disingenuous is President Barack Obama on jobs and the economy? Even billionaire Warren Buffett does not endorse Obama’s “Buffett Rule”. Buffett was not referring to individuals making $50 millions, he was referring to ultra-rich. As Buffett said, he was only referring to about 50,000 people … not Americans who make $250 K a year.  Heck, Buffett does not even think those that make $50 million a year are rich.

CNBC: “Are you happy that the way it is being described. Is the program that the White House has presented a million dollars and over your program? ”

Warren Buffett: “Well, the precise program which will — I don’t know what their program will be. My program would be on the very high incomes that are taxed very low. Not just high incomes. Somebody making $50 million a year playing baseball, his taxes won’t change. Make $50 million a year appearing on television, his income won’t change. But, if they make a lot of money and pay a very low tax rate, like me, it would be changed by a minimum tax that would only bring them up to what other people pay.”

CNBC: “Does that mean you disagree with the president’s new jobs proposal which would be paid for by raising taxes on households with incomes of over $250,000.”

Buffett: “That’s another program that I won’t be discussing. My program is to have a tax on ultra-rich people who are very tax rates. Not just all rich people.

However, in typical fashion, Barack Obama has taken a plan form someone and “bastardized” it.  Because I always get $250,000 and $500,000,000 confused all of the time.  Buffett never intended to tax millionaires more, he was referring to a select group of ultra, ultra rich … but Obama never met a tax increase he didn’t like and looks to put indivuals who make $250 K in the same class as the uber-rich.

UPDATE I: This post was done after the Buffett fundraiser that is referenced in the above VIDEO. Needless to say the fundraiser was a bust and described as a disappointment.

More Obama Hope & Change: US Consumer Confidence Drops to Lowest Since Carter

Once again we are witness to more “Hope & Change” from President Barack Obama … How many voters have buyer’s remorse?  Obama and his minions try and compare him to Reagan and Lincoln … SORRY, OBAMA IS CARTERESQUE!

Move over Jimmy Carter … American has Barack Obama, the worst President in modern American history. What more damage can Obama do to America? I am guessing he contemplates that while golfing.  The fact of the matter is that confidence in Obama is gone and is in no sign of ever coming back. Obama has done out of his way to implement policies that have failed and continues down the same path of failed polices and agendas. Obama has never been a leader, he was a talker and a campaigner. All of America is finally figuring it out. HAS A COUNTRY EVER HAD MORE BUYER’S REMORSE IN A PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION?

The unemployment rate continues to be over 9% and the underemployment is at 18.1%. Barack Obama is the first US President to reside over an economy that has had a downgrade of its credit rating.  Add one more notch to Obama’s belt … consumer confidence has dropped to the lowest level in three decades. Not since the Presidency and “MISERY” of  Jimmy Carter has the consumer confidence been so low.

Confidence among U.S. consumers plunged in August to the lowest level since May 1980, adding to concern that weak employment gains and volatility in the stock market will prompt households to retrench.

The Thomson Reuters/University of Michigan preliminary index of consumer sentiment slumped to 54.9 from 63.7 the prior month. The gauge was projected to decline to 62, according to the median forecast in a Bloomberg News survey.

The biggest one-week slump in stocks since 2008 and the threat of default on the nation’s debt may have exacerbated consumers’ concerns as unemployment hovers above 9 percent and companies are hesitant to hire. Rising pessimism poses a risk household spending will cool further, hindering a recovery that Federal Reserve policy makers said this week was already advancing “considerably slower” than projected.

According to a recent Gallup poll, only 8% of Americans think that the economy is good or excellent, while 55% believe its poor. It gets worse, or better if you are Barack Obama … 80% believe the US economy is getting worse, only 16% believe its getting better. That 16% either need their heads examined or root for the total destruction of America.

The numbers on the consumer sentiment index fell to 54.9 in early August, down from 63.7 in July, and the index has fallen for three straight months. Gallup has economic confidence at -56. Thanks Barack Obama.

Unemployment at 9.1 percent of the workforce, low wage rises, and the protracted debate in Congress over raising the U.S. government debt ceiling spooked consumers, survey director Richard Curtin said in a statement.

“Never before in the history of the surveys have so many consumers spontaneously mentioned negative aspects of the government’s role,” Curtin said.

“This was more than the simple recognition that traditional monetary and fiscal policy measures were largely spent. It was the realization that the government was unable or unwilling to act,” Curtin added.

Bad economic times were expected by 75 percent of all consumers in early August, just below the all-time peak of 82 percent in 1980. Buying plans for household durables and vehicles declined in early August, falling back to their recession level lows.

Barack Obama and his policies have crushed the spirit of Americans. According to a recent Rasmussen poll, only 32% say America’s best days are in the future. What inspiration Barack has given us. Is it any wonder why Obama has a -22% Rasmussen Presidential Index and an overall job approval rating of -6.3%.

As the Gateway Pundit states, its Barack Obama’s “MISSION ACCOMPLISHED”. 2012 can not get here fast enough. “We the People” need to take our country and future back in 2012 and throw this clown out of office in resounding and “landslideable” fashion.

Tea Party & Republicans Win in Wisconsin Recall Election, Maintain Majority 17-16

ON WISCONSIN … Once again as Meatloaf sings, two out of three ain’t bad … especially when it means that GOP wins recall election in Wisconsin.

The Wisconsin Recall Election, part 1 is over and the Republicans win a huge victory in a “BLUE” state. Republicans won 4 of 6 elections and retained power by a 17-16 margin, GOP holds Districts 2, 10, 14 & 8 and Retain Senate! It is an even bigger win for the Tea Party and a colossal loss for Democrats and unions.It was billed by Democrats as a referendum on Gov. Scott Walkers efforts to reduce union

Democrats won two state Senate seats in Tuesday’s historic recall elections, but failed to capture a third seat that would have given them control of the chamber.

By keeping a majority in the Senate, Republicans retained their monopoly on state government because they also hold the Assembly and governor’s office. Tuesday’s elections narrowed their majority – at least for now – from 19-14 to a razor-thin 17-16.

Republicans may be able to gain back some of the losses next week, when two Democrats face recall elections.

Democrats had hoped to block the Republican agenda by taking control of the Senate in the recall elections, but the GOP should be able to continue to advance its agenda.

How big a loser were unions, as pointed out by the Gateway Pundit, they spent ten’s of millions of dollars in the recall effort that went up in smoke.

What a huge victory for the GOP in a Blue, Blue state and a massive loss for Democrats. In many districts voting was on par with a presidential election. So what does this tell us … Wisconsin is now a battle ground state for the 2012 election from what was once sure Democrat win. The once birthplace of Progressivism, is not a battle ground state with a huge Tea Party victory. Who needs polls, the people have voted and Obama is in deep trouble in 2012.

As stated at the LA Times, the Cheese head voters gave the GOP a mandate in the 2010 election and just reinforced that mandate last night in the GOP recall vote. Sorry Democrats, as your misleader Obama has stated in the past, elections have consequences.
