JUDAS GOP: Previously Senate Passed Identical Obamacare Repeal Measures Dies in U.S.Senate as 6 Republicans Flip-Flop Their Vote

JUDAS GOP STABS AMERICANS IN THE BACK AS THEY GO AGAINST THE VERY THING THAT THEY SAID THEY WOULD GO TO GET ELECTED. DON’T THINK WE WILL FORGET THIS ONE …

The U.S. Senators voted 55-45 against an amendment from Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) that would repeal the Affordable Care Act and give lawmakers two years to come up with a replacement. Seven lying, turncoat GOP Senators voted against the exact same repeal measure that they had previously voted for when Barack Obama was presiddnt. The joke GOP senators who need to be primary challenged and run out of office are as follows: Sens. Lamar Alexander (Tenn.), Shelley Moore Capito (W.Va.), Susan Collins (Maine), Dean Heller (Nev.), John McCain (Ariz.), Lisa Murkowski. In RINO Susan Collins defense, she actually never previously voted for the repeal but needs to go anyhow or switch parties.

Previous Senate vote … clean repeal of Obamacare.

For the past 7 years we were told by Republicans, if you give us the House, we will repeal Obamacare. And we did. Then they said, if you give us the Senate, we will repeal Obamacare. And we did. Then they said if you elect us a Republican president who will sign the repeal law, we will repeal Obamacare. And we did. They were given all they asked for and they went back on their words and failed to repeal as 7 Senators voted to keep it. YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS IN ELECTIONS TO COME.

Senators on Wednesday rejected a key proposal that would repeal much of ObamaCare, despite intense pressure from conservatives.

Senators voted 55-45 against an amendment from Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) that would repeal the Affordable Care Act and give lawmakers two years to come up with a replacement.

GOP Sens. Lamar Alexander (Tenn.), Shelley Moore Capito (W.Va.), Susan Collins (Maine), Dean Heller (Nev.), John McCain (Ariz.), Lisa Murkowski (Alaska) and Rob Portman (Ohio) joined all Democrats and independents in voting no.

It was the second healthcare plan rejected after the Senate voted down a separate repeal-and-replace amendment on Tuesday night.

Three GOP senators had already announced they wouldn’t support repeal-only. Alexander, the chairman of the Senate’s health committee, predicted he didn’t “think there are 40 votes to repeal” without a replacement.

“For more than seven years, Republicans successfully campaigned on ObamaCare repeal. … Grassroots conservative activists are not going to accept excuses if Republicans fail to pass a bill that they have passed once before,” the group said in a notice to members.

Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) Returns to DC for Obamacare Repeal Vote

GOP SENATE, YOU BETTER DO RIGHT FOR THE AMERICAN PEOPLE …

With the Obamacare repeal and replace, or just plain repeal vote looming on the horizon, Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) has returned to Washington, DC after recently being diagnoses with brain cancer. The vote is that close and that important. It is hard to imagine that Sen. McCain would make the trip back this soon after being diagnosed with a glioblastoma, a very aggressive form of brain cancer, if Sen. Mitch McConnell didn’t have the votes. But who knows at this point. After seven years of promises to rid the American people of Obamacare, it is time for the GOP Senate to step up to the plate and do their job. The American people have given the Republicans the House, Senate and Presidency to repeal Obamacare, as they asked. NOW, JUST DO IT!!!

Senate Republicans are barreling toward a dramatic and highly unusual vote on Obamacare Tuesday without knowing whether they’ll have the votes to start dismantling the health care law.

At stake is not just the seven-year-old campaign pledge to repeal Obamacare, but also demonstrating that Republicans — when given full control of Washington — can govern. Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz,), recently diagnosed with brain cancer, made it all the more dramatic Monday evening when he announced he would return to Washington for the vote.

The vote count was unclear as of Monday night. About a half-dozen senators were publicly undecided about whether to allow debate to start on rolling back the Affordable Care Act.

The vote is expected Tuesday afternoon after what is expected to be a rowdy Republican lunch. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is hoping to use McCain’s return and momentum from one final plea to his members at a Tuesday caucus meeting to push the required 50 votes into the “yes” column and open debate on repealing the law.

Donald Trump says:

Big day for HealthCare,” President Donald Trump tweeted Tuesday morning. “After 7 years of talking, we will soon see whether or not Republicans are willing to step up to the plate!

If Senate Republicans can successfully begin debate on Tuesday, it would mark a huge political win as the GOP has been near death on Obamacare repeal many times in the past several weeks. Debate would start with no clear path to how to finish the bill.

Democrats feared the worst with McCain’s return.

“I can’t imagine Mitch McConnell would ask John McCain to come back if he didn’t have the votes. I really believe that you have to assume that,” said Senate Minority Whip Dick Durbin (D-Ill.). “It is above and beyond the call of duty … to make a 2,000-mile journey for a vote if Senator McConnell doesn’t believe he has the necessary votes.”

Republican Senate Health Care Collapse a Blow to Majority Leader Mitch McConnell … If You Can’t Get It Done, Step Down

MCCONNELL, ITS TIME FOR YOU TO LEAVE, NOW!!!

The Republican health care failure in the U.S. Senate is not only a blow to GOP Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, it is a greater disappointment to the American people who have been lied to. For seven years Republicans, and the American people have been told, if you give us the House, give us the Senate and give us the Presidency, we will repeal Obamacare. Over the past 7 years, Republicans, Independents and even Democrats have given power back to the GOP in the House, Senate and in 2016, elected Donald J. Trump the president of the United States. Now we have a GOP majority in the Senate who has lost their nerve and obvious lied to We the People. The colossal collapse of the Senate health care bill is not a blow to McConnell, its an embarrassment to the GOP party. What the F#ck have you people been doing for the past 7 years? You were put in office and many GOP senators ran and were elected on the promise to repeal Obamacare. Now it is time to fulfill your promise. President Trump expressed his disappointment; however, I will go even further. The GOP Senate had no problem passing bills that repealed Obamacare when they knew they had no chance of being signed by Barack Obama. Now, suddenly when Donald Trump is president and will sign such a bill into law, the establishment GOP Senators have become gutless. Mitch McConnell, you need to step down and allow new leadership to take over that can get things done. Retire and go home!

More pathetic establishment GOP leadership

Senate Republicans Address The Press After Weekly Policy Luncheon

The failure of Obamacare repeal marks Mitch McConnell’s lowest point as Senate GOP leader.

Despite having a Republican in the White House, full GOP control of Congress and seven years of campaign promises — “pulling out Obamacare root and branch,” as the Kentucky Republican famously declared — McConnell acknowledged this week that he didn’t have the votes to even start debate on replacing the 2010 Affordable Care Act.

It’s a serious defeat for McConnell, and one that leaves deep bitterness among rank-and-file GOP senators, as moderates and conservatives blamed each other over who is at fault for the setback.

It’s also a blow to McConnell’s reputation as a master legislator and raises doubts in the White House about what Senate Republicans can actually deliver for President Donald Trump. McConnell, like Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.), finds himself caught between the factions in his own party. And like Ryan, McConnell hasn’t demonstrated that he knows how to resolve the dispute.

The draining of the swamp also includes establishment Republicans and RINO’s. It is bad enough that your healthcare bill is BS, based on a retooling of Obamacare, not its repeal .. but you gutless bastards can’t even pass that after 7 years. One would have thought that you would have been discussing such things, not going on vacation, writing books, and getting all those great Senate perks. Trust me GOP … come 2018, this is a warning to the ObamaCare Republicans, the Voters will repeal and replace the Senators who broke their promise. That goes for you folks in the House too. Prepare to be primary challenged!!! In 2018, its time to go RINO hunting and rid the party of those who don’t even believe in the Republican platform. Take your party back and show these clowns, that lying to get elected will not be tolerated.

Democrat Senate Minority Leader Chucky Schumer Says It’s Unlikely Gorsuch Will Reach 60 Votes

MAKE NO MISTAKE ABOUT IT, DEMOCRATS WILL RUE THE DAY IF THAT ACT IN A PARTISAN MANNER IN VOTING FOR SUPREME COURT NOMINEE GORSUCH …

Democrat Minority leader Schumer said yesterday on Meet the Press that Democrats and Republicans should come up with a mainstream nominee instead of President Trump’s nominee, Neil Gorsuch. Sorry Chucky, you don’t get to dictate anything or make the rules. You are in the minority. In the famous words of former president Barack Obama when speaking to the GOP leadership after he won the presidency … elections have consequences.

As the Senate gears up to consider President Donald Trump’s Supreme Court nominee, Neil Gorsuch, Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer predicted Sunday that “it looks like Gorsuch will not reach the 60-vote margin” needed to overcome a filibuster.

If the 60 votes aren’t there, Schumer argued during an appearance on “Meet The Press,” Trump should gather with Senate Democrats and Republicans to “try to come up with a mainstream nominee.”

“Look, when a nominee doesn’t get 60 votes, you shouldn’t change the rules, you should change the nominee,” said Schumer, D-New York.

Republican Majority leader Mitch McConnell said that Neil Gorsuch would be elected to the SCOTUS in one way or the other. McConnell put forth the qualifications of Gorsuch and battled the liberal MSM who argued the Democrat side.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) Shut Down After Vile Speech Against Sessions Broke Senate Rules (VIDEO)

IF YOU DON’T WANT THE FOLLOW THE RULES … SIT DOWN!!!

Pocahontas, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) was shut down during her vitriolic speech against President Donald Trump nominee for attorney General, Sen. Jeff Sessions. It appears that under Senate rule 19, No Senator in debate shall, directly or indirectly, by any form of words impute to another Senator or to other Senators any conduct or motive unworthy or unbecoming a Senator. That is exactly what Warren was accused of doing. Warren knows the rules of the Senate and as most on the LEFT believe, that they don’t apply to them. After a contentious back and forth conversation between Warren and the Senate chair, which prompted the chair to finally say … “The senator will take her seat.” BAM!!!! The headlines from the liberal media regarding this case show more pure bias. When the liberal MSM does not like the law, they call them arcane.

From The Hill:

The move means the progressive senator won’t be allowed to speak from the floor until after the Senate wraps up its debate on Sessions’s nomination, expected to occur on Wednesday evening.

The drama on the Senate floor comes after McConnell interrupted Warren’s speech accusing her of breaking the upper chamber’s guidelines.

“The senator has impugned the motives and conduct of our colleague from Alabama,” McConnell said from the Senate floor. “I call the senator to order under the provisions of Rule 19.”

Under the Senate’s “Rule 19,” senators are not allowed to “directly or indirectly, by any form of words impute to another Senator or to other Senators any conduct or motive unworthy or unbecoming a Senator.”
