PPP Poll: GOP Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s Approval in Kentucky at 18 Percent

DITCH MITCH!!!

According to  The Hill, Republican Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has an 18% approval rating in Kentucky. So before McConnell decides to mouth off and talk about President Trump’s demise, he might want to contemplate his own. If this swamp clown had any respect for the good people of Kentucky, the US Senate and the Republican party, he would step down and relinquish the reins to some one else who was up to the job. But instead, swamp creatures like McConnell just believe in m,maintaining power and could care less about the will of the people. Meanwhile, President Trump has a 60% approval rating in the Blue Grass state. McConnell represents all that is wrong with politics and the GOP, a tiring, old, dinosaur who is more worried about hanging on to power and doing nothing, than actually doing what he campaigned on. The issue Mitch isn’t that we and President Trump have “excessive expectations,” the problem is that you are a liar and an establishment politician who needs to go. The fact that you think that expecting our elected leaders to do what they campaign on for 7 years is excessive, more than tells us enough about you … DITCH MITCH!!!

Senate Republicans Address The Press After Weekly Policy Luncheon

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) has an 18 percent job approval rating in Kentucky, according to a new survey.

A Public Policy Polling survey found just 18 percent of respondents approve of the job McConnell is doing, compared with 74 percent who disapprove.

If McConnell were up for reelection today, 37 percent of respondents said they would vote for the Kentucky Republican. Another 44 percent would instead choose a Democratic opponent, according to the survey.

An additional 19 percent said they were unsure.

McConnell’s seat will be on the ballot next in 2020.

Earlier this month, President Trump took aim at McConnell after the Kentucky Republican vented about the president’s “excessive expectations” for his agenda.

Trump questioned why McConnell had not yet been able to pass a new healthcare plan and Trump’s top spokeswoman said there is “some frustration” with the Senate leader.

The poll also finds that just 27 percent of respondents approved of the Senate GOP’s healthcare bill that collapsed last month.

Nearly half, 49 percent of respondents, disapproved of the legislation.

President Trump has an approval rating of 60 percent in Kentucky. Slightly more than one-third of respondents, 36 percent, disapprove of the job the president is doing.

Sweet Home Alabama … Justice Roy Moore & Sen. Luther Strange Advance to GOP Runoff in Alabama Special Election … Doug Jones wins Alabama Senate Democrat Primary

GREAT JOB BAMA!!!

Drain the Swamp …  As reported at The Politico, former Alabama Supreme Court Justice Roy Moore and Sen. Luther Strange will advance to a Republican primary runoff in Alabama’s special Senate race in September.  Moore finished first with 41% of the vote and Strange, who was backed by Trump and McConnell, only received 32%. Since no candidate received the necessary 50percent, Moore and Strange will move onto a Sept. 26 runoff before the December general election. It would appear that Moore has a lead over Strange heading into the special election. To the people of Alabama, it is time to drain the swamp and send a message to Mitch McConnell, establishment Republicans and to President Trump. We are going to hold him accountable to draining the swamp, and that means ridding the US Senate of McConnell lackeys. Send a message to President Trump as well, when the electorate says drain the swamp, we mean drain the swamp. Trump needs a bit of a reminder who elected him president, and it wasn’t the McConnell, establishment GOP types. Cuz, a southern man don’t need establishment RINO’s around any how!!!

SWEET HOME ALABAMA!!!

In other news, Democrat Doug Jones wins Alabama Senate primary and doesn’t have a snowballs chance in hell of winning the general election. Mr. Jones can receive all the Democrat endorsements he wants, like from former VP Biden. Jones can make claims like, “As your United States Senator, I am going to continue to fight for everybody in this state. I’m going to be an independent voice … I’m going to be beholden only to the people of the state of Alabama. Don’t be fooled, no freshman Democrat is going to have any say in a party run by liberal Chucky Schumer of New York. Independent? Who is he kidding. Jones would be beholden to Schumer and the far left liberal agenda.

Former Alabama Supreme Court Justice Roy Moore and Sen. Luther Strange advanced to a Republican primary runoff in Alabama’s special Senate race, which will put President Donald Trump and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s political clout on the line in September.

Moore had 40 percent of the vote and Strange — who was backed by Trump and McConnell — had 32 percent after The Associated Press called the race. Rep. Mo Brooks trailed at 20 percent. Alabama election laws call for the top two primary finishers to compete in a runoff if no candidate gets a majority.

Despite the weighty endorsements, Strange has been locked in fierce competition with the other Republican hopefuls this summer. He leaned hard into Trump’s endorsement to try to make a show of strength in the first round and close in on Moore.

“[President Trump] knows that I am the person in this race that’s going to make this country great again,” Strange told cheering supporters Tuesday night.

But Strange, who was appointed to the seat earlier this year when Attorney General Jeff Sessions left the Senate to join Trump’s Cabinet, still ran behind Moore — and well behind the majority marker — in the first round.

“This is a great victory,” Moore told attendees at his election night party. “The attempt by the silk stocking Washington elitists to control the vote of the people of Alabama has failed.”

Despite Trump & McConnell’s Support, Alabama Senator Luther Strange Struggles to a Primary Finish against Real Conservative Republicans

THE BEST THING THAT CAN HAPPEN IS THAT MCCONNELL ESTABLISHMENT TOADIE SEN. LUTHER STRANGE LOSES THE PRIMARY!!!

To the good people of Alabama, DRAIN THE SWAMP!!! On Tuesday you have an opportunity to make your voices heard and push back against the establishment, RINO’s in Washington, DC. GOP Senate Majority leaders Mitch McConnell’s choice, Sen. Luther Strange, is limping his way across the finish line. Do not let this hand-picked McConnell toadie win and replace the seat of Sen. Jeff Sessions with the likes of this.. A vote for Strange is a vote for McConnell. The Republican electorate needs to Ditch Mitch, not make him more powerful. Alabama, vote for the conservatives, not the RINO establishment candidate who is nothing more than a McConnell suck up. Alabama is a deep red state with conservative values, vote like it and send a message to the GOP establishment everywhere that we are sick of their games, lies and lack of representation. The fact of the matter is that Democrats will never win the senate seat in Alabama. If the GOP grassroots elects in the primary a true conservative, they will be elected in the general election.

This is your big chance to let your voice be heard, don’t wast the opportunity!

Mcconnell_strange

Senator Luther Strange of Alabama wields an endorsement from the president of the United States, is the beneficiary of a multimillion-dollar campaign from allies of Mitch McConnell, the Senate majority leader, and has the backing of influential conservative interest groups like the National Rifle Association.

But Mr. Strange is wheezing into Tuesday’s Republican Senate primary here. He is grasping to secure a second-place finish and a slot in a September runoff with Roy S. Moore, the twice-deposed former State Supreme Court justice and evangelical-voter favorite who is expected to be the top vote-getter but may fall short of the majority needed to win outright.

Mr. Strange is in a political vise, pinched by his links to a pair of Republicans, one local and one national, held in low esteem by many in the party here: the disgraced former Gov. Robert Bentley, who appointed Mr. Strange, and Mr. McConnell.

Ditch_Mitch

Personally, I am disgusted that President Trump would back this McConnell stooge. The fact that Trump endorsed with McConnell stooge greatly surprises and annoys me. After the war of words between Trump and McConnell over the Senate majority leader sating that Trump had “excessive  expectations,” it is troublesome that Trump would continue to back the very gutless Republican politician that make up the swamp. This is a political warning shot President Trump, if you do not do what you promises and drain the swamp and continue to back McConnell senate toadies, you will lose my vote.

Yet the ad campaign by the McConnell-aligned Senate Leadership Fund — while doing significant damage to a third Republican candidate in the race, Representative Mo Brooks, a hard-line conservative — has also highlighted Mr. Strange’s ties to the congressional Republican leadership. And it has come at a moment when conservatives are furious at lawmakers for not repealing the Affordable Care Act and Mr. Trump is placing much of the blame at the feet of Mr. McConnell.

Naturally, Mr. Strange’s rivals have seized on his ties to Mr. McConnell. At a candidate forum in nearby Trussville this month, one of Mr. Brooks’s top applause lines was a call for Mr. McConnell to be removed as the party’s Senate leader.

In an interview near his campaign bus, a “Ditch Mitch” banner fastened to the front, Mr. Brooks even found a way to invoke Mr. McConnell when pressed about Mr. Trump’s decision to endorse Mr. Strange.

A NOTE TO PRESIDENT TRUMP, YOU BETTER DAMN WILL FIGURE OUT WHO YOUR BASE IS AND WHO SUPPORTS YOU AND IT AIN’T MCCONNELL GOP SELLOUTS!

WTF!!! GOP Senate Majority Leader McConnell Whines Senate Failures are Due to Trump’s & Others Have “Excessive Expectations” (VIDEO)

AMERICA, IT’S TIME TO DRAIN THE SWAMP, REPUBLICANS NEED NEW LEADERSHIP AND NEW SENATORS … DITCH MITCH!!!

WTF, McConnell must go!!!  Republican Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell blamed President Trump for the Senate’s lack of getting anything dome on Monday by stating the fault lies with President Trump’s “excessive expectations” of the legislative process. McConnell said, “Our new president, of course, has not been in this line of work before. I think he had excessive expectations about how quickly things happen in the democratic process.” WHAT! You are blaming President Trump for your lack of leadership? EXPECTATIONS? Are you kidding me!!! It is the American people that had expectations because of your promises that were obviously lies. For 7 years you made promises to the America people that if the GOP was given the Senate, you would repeal Obamacare. You even passes a BS repeal bill that was for nothing but show. Then you whined that the Republicans needed a GOP president who would sign an Obamacare repeal bill to be elected and the American people provided that too. You haven’t done much because you haven’t done much and because you suck!!! Maybe the reason why Donald Trump and the American people had expectations was because your lies gave them the expectations.

McConnell, you are exactly what is wrong in Washington, DC and you need to be sent packing as soon as possible. Retire, step down, just leave. You, not Trump, YOU have failed the people. God forbid anyone have expectations from the SWAMP, and for that reason about 90% of you should be voted out of office. What kind of a loser are you that you would blame other for your failings. YOU HAVE HAD HOW LONG AND YOU GAVE US NOTHING. Yes Mitch, the President and We the People have expectations of Congress and if you can’t deliver, GET THE HELL OUT OF THE WAY!!! You don’t just get to stay in the Senate for life and do nothing.

Just how out of touch is McConnell? Does he have any comprehension why Donald Trump pulled off one of the greatest political upsets in American history and won the 2016 presidential election? People wanted change. They wanted the repeal of Obamacare! They wanted America first! Either get on board Mitch or leave.

FLASHBACK 2013: RINO Mitch McConnell Promises to Repeal Obamacare ‘Root and Branch’

Via The Hill:

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) on Monday expressed frustration with what he called President Trump’s “excessive expectations” of the legislative process as Republicans struggle to chalk up major achievements under a united government.

During a speech to the Florence Rotary Club in Kentucky, McConnell said many of Trump’s “artificial deadlines” are “unrelated to reality,” indicating the president may not fully grasp the ins and outs of lawmaking.

“Now our new president has of course not been in this line of work before. And I think had excessive expectations about how quickly things happen in the democratic process,” McConnell said.

“And so, part of the reason I think people feel like we’re underperforming is because too many artificial deadlines unrelated to the reality and the complexity of legislature may not have been fully understood.”

McConnell’s speech comes less than two weeks after the Senate failed by one vote to move forward on plans to repeal and replace ObamaCare.

Trump took to Twitter to criticize McConnell, calling for changes to the legislative filibuster, which the majority leader has rejected in the past.

McConnell blames Trump for ‘excessive expectations’ … Discussion of the RINO, establishment GOP Senate

U.S. Senate Blocks Republican Health Bill in Midnight Vote, 3 GOP Senators Vote against (Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, John McCain)

SENATE FAIL … ATTEMPTS TO REPEAL AND REPLACE OBAMACARE FAILS, A POX ON BOTH YOUR HOUSES!!!

Overnight, the U.S. Senate blocked the latest attempt by the GOP to repeal Obamacare. The so-called Skinny repeal failed by one vote as three Republican Senators voted “no” to the bill. And just who were the three GOP lawmakers who blocked the bill? It was RINO’s Susan Collins of Maine, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska and John McCain of Arizona in a 49-51 vote. UNREAL. Gee McCain, we are just so glad you returned to act a Judas. You should have stayed home. Don’t ever lecture us again, just go home and retire. Once again, McCain shows he would rather side with Democrats, than his own party and fulfill his promise to replace and replace Obamacare. Good riddance. RINO and liar Sen. Murkowski stated that she would not be pressured by President Trump. Hmm, how about pressured by what you told fellow Alaskans in your promise to repeal Obamacare (VIDEO)? Because God forbid these power hungry politicians tell the truth and not lie to get elected.

SENATE FAILURE … YOU FAILED THE AMERICAN PEOPLE!

A months-long effort by Senate Republicans to pass health legislation collapsed early Friday after GOP Senator John McCain joined two of his colleagues to block a stripped-down Obamacare repeal bill.

“I regret that our efforts were simply not enough, this time,” Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said on the Senate floor after the vote. “This is clearly a disappointing moment.”

“It’s time to move on,” he added after pulling the bill from the floor.

The decision by McCain to vote no came after weeks of brinkmanship and after his dramatic return from cancer treatment to cast the 50th vote to start debate on the bill earlier this week. The GOP’s ‘skinny’ repeal bill was defeated 49-51, falling just short of the 50 votes needed to advance it. Republicans Susan Collins of Maine and Lisa Murkowski also voted against it.

It wasn’t immediately clear what the next steps would be for the Republicans. The repeal effort had appeared to collapse several times before, only to be revived. And several Republicans pleaded for their colleagues not to give up, even as President Donald Trump blasted the vote.

Trump_tweet_3 senators fail

After 7 years of bitching and moaning about Obamacare and claiming they would repeal or repeal and replace Obamacare, in the end, it was all a lie. In 7 years the Republicans had no solutions, just lies to get reelected. All of you should be ashamed and the GOP leadership should step down and make room for individuals who can lead. As for the GOP Senators who broke their word to the American people that you would repeal it to get elected, you need to be primary challenged and thrown out of office. To the Democrats who sat on their hands and cheered as as if Obamacare is some great thing for the American people, you need to be voted out of office immediately. It is too bad that President Trump actually bought into the GOP swamps lies. Following the Skinny repeal fail Trump tweeted at 2:25 am Washington time:  “3 Republicans and 48 Democrats let the American people down, As I said from the beginning, let ObamaCare implode, then deal. Watch!” And implode it will as it is already in the process of doing so.
