Nebraska Senator Ben “Cornhusker kickback” Nelson Now Says … “We should have waited on health care”

What a Statesman …

“I think it was a mistake to take health care on as opposed to continuing to spend the time on the economy”

Now, now Nebraska Senator Ben Nelson says that “we should have waited on healthcare?” Actually Senator Nelson, the time to have said that would have been before you took the “Corn Husker” kickback from Democrat Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and voted for the disastrous piece of legislation.

What a statesman you are Senator Nelson for coming out and saying this now as opposed to actually opposing the bill as the people of Nebraska wanted you to do. Why did you not tell Obama and Reid to focus on the economy first and you would consider healthcare later?

Sen. Ben Nelson said Tuesday it was a mistake for the Obama Administration to take on massive health care reforms in 2009, and suggested efforts would have been better spent addressing the economy.

Nelson, who provided the crucial 60th vote to advance the bill toward Senate passage on Dec. 19, has been active ever since trying to explain his actions to Nebraskans. Ads have aired on television and Nelson is making the rounds with the state’s media.

He requested Tuesday’s interview with the Tribune.

“I think it was a mistake to take health care on as opposed to continuing to spend the time on the economy,” he said.

Make no mistake about it Senator Nelson you made your bed … you will be voted out of office in 2012 and there is no damage control you could ever do to prevent it. You had yous opportunity to do the right thing and you failed miserably.

Senate Dem Asks SC Attorney General Henry McMaster to Stop Lawsuit Against Obamacare … “Call Off the Dogs”

Not only did Nebraska Senator Ben Nelson take a “cornhusker” kickback in exempting his state from provisions of Obamacare in order to buy his vote, Nelson is now reportedly calling the AG of South Carolina to “call off the dogs”. Exactly what business does a US Senator have telling a State official anything?

Hey Senator Ben Nelson, who let the Dogs Out!

In a phone call Thursday, Sen. Ben Nelson, D-Neb., urged South Carolina Republican Attorney General Henry McMaster, the head of a group of 13 GOP state attorneys general who are threatening to file a lawsuit against the Senate health care bill, to reconsider, Politico reported.

A Democratic senator from Nebraska who played a crucial role in getting health care legislation passed in the Senate last month has asked South Carolina’s top attorney to “call off the dogs” – a reference to the state official’s threat to challenge the constitutionality of the bill.

Democrats Whining & Attacking Pollster Scott Rasmussen as to Why America Against Democrat Agenda … That’s Your Plan?

Hey Dems, how about some brie with that whine?

wine-and-cheese1

Sorry Democrats, Liberals and Moonbats … you can whine all you want and rip Independent pollster Scott Rasmussen all you want. The fact of the matter is year in and year out he is the best and most accurate in the business. Funny how Rasmussen nailed the two 2009 VA and NJ Governor races in his polling, see below.

Just out of curiosity to the LEFT, what part about these CNN, NBC/Wallstreet and Washington Post/ABC polls don’t you quite understand that show a positive polling rating for Obama?

Rasmussen’s polling is mean

What a brilliant political strategy, attack the messenger of the polling data. We are supposed to believe that Rasmussen’s polling is the reason why American’s are rejecting Obama’s and the Democrats liberal agenda.? How much denial are Democrats truly in? You people are in a rude awakening come the 2010 midterms.

So Democrats are attacking Rasmussen, good grief. Democrats cannot believe that there are poll numbers out there that do not paint Obama is a glowing light. Really? Have you looked at the other polls lately? Have you taken a look at the Real Clear Politics average job approval poll from when Obama first took office?

Of course Obama and Democrats poor polling numbers have nothing to do with a motivated and energized “We the People” known as the Tea Party movement who are tired of the Democrat controlled Presidency, House and Senate and the 10% unemployment, record federal debt, out of control spending, government take over of health care and weak foreign policy.

They would like to have people believe that Rasmussen’s poll models are flawed. The fact is that they do not like the poll results that are then repeated in the media. It’s the Democrat playbook 101, when you don’t like the results or what people are saying … attack their credibility. Democrats, your act is tired and lame.

What part about the Rasmussen Report has to do with this CNN & Gallup poll stating that Barack Obama’s poll numbers are sinking like a rock and Sarah Palin’s are on the rise?

CRY ME A RIVER!

Democrats are turning their fire on Scott Rasmussen, the prolific independent pollster whose surveys on elections, President Obama’s popularity and a host of other issues are surfacing in the media with increasing frequency.

The pointed attacks reflect a hardening conventional wisdom among prominent liberal bloggers and many Democrats that Rasmussen Reports polls are, at best, the result of a flawed polling model and, at worst, designed to undermine Democratic politicians and the party’s national agenda.

What would one expect from liberal propaganda sites like Media Matters, the Daily Kos and Huffington Post? Anything that does not spew their liberal agenda and skew numbers to the advantage of politicians or policy that they support are going to be labeled Republican or Fox News-like.

Nebraska Senator Ben Nelson, Actions (Votes) Speak Louder than Words (Spin)

Separation of Actions and Words …

Dear Nebraska Senator Ben Nelson, you poor, sad, confused, deranged individual.Your cluelessness of the people who you represent is frightening. In the end, your lack of understanding of your constituents makes it all the more reason why you should no longer represent them as a US Senator.

We warned all that a vote for Obamacare meant a one way ticket home out of Washington, DC. What, you thought we were kidding? How bad is voting for Obamacare? Ben Nelson is not up for reelection until 2012 and he has already started damage control.

Your days of BS’ing the people of Nebraska are at an end. It does not matter how many ads you put out spinning and lying about Obamacare and your flip-flop on abortion and taking a Corn Husker kickback to exempt your state from paying what the rest of the others states have to.

One day after a new poll showed him tanking with Nebraska voters because of his decision to compromise his long-held pro-life views and become the 60th vote for the pro-abortion health care bill, Sen. Ben Nelson will run a television commercial during a college football bowl game to defend his decision.

Nelson will make his case for supporting the Senate government-run health care bill that forces taxpayers to fund abortions and would allow the Obama administration to make insurance companies pay for abortions with taxpayers’ premiums.

He will air a 30-second television spot during Wednesday night’s Holiday Bowl game featuring the University of Nebraska showing him talking directly into the camera.

First of all, none of Corn Husker nation wanted to see your flip-flopping, lying mug to bring down the spirits as Big Red was steam rolling the University of Arizona in the Holiday Bowl.
