Last night Newt Gingrich went ‘On The Record’ with Greta Van Susteren and responded to the shocking and eye opening VIDEO of then candidate Barack Obama pandering to those in attendance at Hampton University. Speaking in a tongue that was hardly his own, Obama spewed lies and racial division as he spoke to the predominantly black crowd. Gingrich resounded by saying, “It’s a reminder of the depth of dishonesty, the appeals to racism, the factual falsehoods that are at the heart of the modern left.”

It is just too bad and borderline criminal that the MSM refused to cover and vett then candidate Obama in 2008. And in 2012, the MSM is even more in the tank for Obama.

In a video obtained exclusively by The Daily Caller, then-presidential candidate Barack Obama tells an audience of black ministers, including the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, that the U.S. government shortchanged Hurricane Katrina victims because of racism.

“The people down in New Orleans they don’t care about as much!” Obama shouts in the video, which was shot in June of 2007 at Hampton University in Virginia. By contrast, survivors of Sept. 11 and Hurricane Andrew received generous amounts of aid, Obama explains. The reason? Unlike residents of majority-black New Orleans, the federal government considers those victims “part of the American family.”

The racially charged and at times angry speech undermines Obama’s carefully-crafted image as a leader eager to build bridges between ethnic groups. For nearly 40 minutes, using an accent he almost never adopts in public, Obama describes a racist, zero-sum society, in which the white majority profits by exploiting black America. The mostly black audience shouts in agreement. The effect is closer to an Al Sharpton rally than a conventional campaign event.

As Obama shamefully panders to a black audience in a dialect that is supposed to be Southern or black or whatever, uses the race card and compares Hurricane Katrina New Orleans to 9-11. So this is the same individual who said there are no red states, no blue states, only the United states and he would be a president for all. really?

2. “It was also there — at Trinity United Church of Christ on the South Side of Chicago — that I met Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr., who took me on another journey and introduced me to a man named Jesus Christ. It was the best education I ever had.”

But the full version of the speech, posted on The Daily Caller website this evening, shows Obama taking that argument a step further, suggesting the federal government overlooked the needs of residents of New Orleans suffering in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, as opposed to victims of other disasters in other parts of the country.

“Down in New Orleans, where they still have not rebuilt 20 months later,” Obama says, “there’s a law, federal law — when you get reconstruction money from the federal government — called the Stafford Act. And basically it says, when you get federal money, you’ve got to give a 10 percent match. The local government’s got to come up with 10 percent. Every 10 dollars the federal government comes up with, local government’s got to give a dollar.

“Now here’s the thing, when 9/11 happened in New York City, they waived the Stafford Act — said, ‘This is too serious a problem. We can’t expect New York City to rebuild on its own. Forget that dollar you got to put in. Well, here’s 10 dollars.’ And that was the right thing to do. When Hurricane Andrew struck in Florida, people said, ‘Look at this devastation. We don’t expect you to come up with y’own money, here. Here’s the money to rebuild. We’re not going to wait for you to scratch it together — because you’re part of the American family.’ … What’s happening down in New Orleans? Where’s your dollar? Where’s your Stafford Act money? Makes no sense. Tells me that somehow, the people down in New Orleans they don’t care about as much.”

Carlson told Fox Tuesday night the clips were evidence the then-candidate was “whipping up race hatred and fear. Period.”

The clips, which were hyped online throughout the day by Fox News and conservative blogger Matt Drudge, were billed as something the “left wing press has been hiding since 2007.”

“That is racial rhetoric designed to make people fearful,” Carlson told Fox News’ Sean Hannity. “This is the opposite of what a uniter does, this is what a demagoguer does, and it’s wrong.”

MSNBC’s Touré actually said that Mitt Romney was engaged the the ‘Niggerization’ of Obama. Touré, is  a supposed racial expert who can spot racism in most inanimate objects, most Yiddish phrases, and all English words. Conveniently, the race card is used against Republicans. So what did Romney do to provoke such a slanderous smear? As reports at Breitbart.com, Romney He said that Obama, whose campaign has already called Romney a racist, a sexist, a felon, and a murderer, should “take [his] campaign of division and anger and hate back to Chicago.”

Of course when you cannot defend your candidate, use the race card. Simmons could point to nothing from Obama’s first term in office to praise so of course like any bankrupt Obamaite, smear the Republicans.

Just to show how disingenuous black America is when it comes to defending President Barack Obama one needs to look no further than Simmons making such accusations like Romney and Ryan will destroy black people. Has Simmons taken a look at what Obama has done to destroy blacks? In June 2012 the black unemployment rate in the United States under Obama surged to 14.4%.  In July 2012, ity still remained above 14%. The 96% vote by Blacks for Obama in 2008 have yielded little for the blacks community. The unemployment rate for blacks rose to 14.4% from 13.6% in May, the Labor Department reported Friday. That’s a sharp contrast to the white unemployment rate, which stayed put at 7.4%, and the Hispanic rate, which held at 11%.

Executive Director of Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) Says Opposition to Barack Obama is Racism

When you can’t run on Obama’s record … Use the Race Card.

The Executive Director of the (CBC), Congressional Black Caucus, states that opposition to President Barack Obama is racism. How pathetic that the CBC would play the race card and use that as an excuse for the failed polices of Barack Obama. Angela Rye even went so far as to claim that Conservatives using the term “cool” is racist. Good grief.

Angela Rye, Executive Director of the Congressional Black Caucus, argued that President Obama has struggled during his first term due to racially-motivated opposition from conservatives who dislike having a black president.

“This is probably the toughest presidential term in my lifetime,” Rye said during CSPAN’s Q&A yesterday. “I think that a lot of what the president has experienced is because he’s black. You know, whether it’s questioning his intellect or whether or not he’s Ivy League. It’s always either he’s not educated enough or he’s too educated; or he’s too black or he’s not black enough; he’s too Christian or not Christian enough. There are all these things where he has to walk this very fine line to even be successful.”

She said that “a lot” of conservative opposition is racially-charged, citing the use of the word “cool” in an attack ad launched by Karl Rove’s Crossroads GPS superPAC.

Really, questioning Obama’s intellect and education is racism? Because George W. Bush was never called stupid by the Left. When one becomes President, they becomes a target of political opposition. That has been the case with every President, Obama is nothing special. The only difference is that He and his supportive minions cannot take the heat and resort to using the race card.

The CBC has done a great disservice to actual racism. Does racism exist, of course. However, one might say there is just as much reverse racism as there is racism in the traditional sense. One thing is for certain, Americans are not opposed to Obama because of racism, they are against his policies because they are a disaster for families and for America. Oh no, but these lazy thinking individuals would rather use the race card than explain how under Barack Obama there is a record number of people on food stamps, a continued +8% of Americans are unemployed, 18% underemployed, a failed $787 billion stimulus plan, an unwanted Obamacare law, a failed green energy government subsided plan and an out of control $15.7 trillion national debt.

This is not racism, its every Americans right of freedom and liberty to express opposition as afforded by the US Constitution. What is racism … as stated at Sister Toldja, “the real racialist here is the one who sees race behind every tree and bush.”

Rasmussen Poll: 40% Say Trayvon Martin Shot in Self-Defense; Only 24% Say It Was Murder … Only 47% of Blacks Think Zimmerman Murdered Martin

As evidence and facts are released in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin, the more people believe that George Zimmerman shot in self-defense.

My how the opinion is changing in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin by George Zimmerman. Initially when the story was inaccurately reported by the MSM and the race baiters like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson were out in force fanning the flames of racism, many thought that George Zimmerman was guilty of murder.  The MSM even went as far as purposely manipulating the Zimmerman 911 call and misrepresent the facts.  My what a difference actual facts and evidence makes.

According to the most recent Rasmussen poll, 40% now believe that George Zimmerman shot 17 year old Trayvon Martin in self-defense, only 24% now believe that it was murder. WOW,  only a mere 15% believed Zimmerman acted in self-defense in March and 24% in April. George Zimmerman, the neighborhood watch captain was charged with second degree murder.  What is even more stunning with the polling numbers is that 47% of black adults feel Zimmerman should be found guilty of murdering Trayvon Martin, down from 55% in March. Of course the public opinion was influenced by not only the media’s bias reporting, but also President Obama interjecting himself in the case stating that Trayvon Martin could have looked like his son.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 24% of American Adults still believe the man who shot Martin should be found guilty of murder. But that’s down from 33% in late March when the case first began to draw national headlines and 30% in early April.

Forty percent (40%) now think George Zimmerman, who has been charged with second degree murder in the Martin shooting, acted in self-defense. That’s up 25 points from 15% in March and up 16 points from 24% last month. Thirty-six percent (36%) remain undecided, compared to 55% two months ago. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

Interestingly, 47% of black adults still feel Zimmerman should be found guilty of murdering the black teenager, compared to 55% in March.

It is simply amazing how the public opinion has shifted in this case once actual facts came out in the case as opposed to the liberal MSM bias agenda. The calls of racism and racial profiling have been pretty much debunked by the autopsy reports of Trayvon Martin that stated he had bruised knuckles and the medical reports and pics that show that George Zimmerman had two black eyes, a broken nose and cuts to the back of his head.

The real question is will justice be served in this case or will the pressures of political correctness and race baiting win out? One think is for certain, the death of any 17 year old is tragic; however, the manipulating of a case to stir racial tensions and fan the flames of racism is reprehensible. The MSM so wanted there to be a hate crime of a white on black crime. So much that the MSM invented a new category of people, “White Hispanics”.

Obama Administration Files Law Suit Against Sheriff Joe Arpaio Over Trumped Up Racism Charges

Unbelievable ... the Obama Department of Justice and Eric Holder are out of control and have politicized the Justice Department like no other administration. The Justice Department is accusing sheriff Joe Arpaio and his office using “unconstitutional and unlawful actions” in their handling of Hispanics. Believe it or not, the feds want to put one of their lackeys in place to monitor Arpio’s actions. If anything ‘We the People” need monitors to look over the shoulder of Barack Obama and Eric Holder on a daily basis.

The Justice Department, which first targeted Sheriff Joe Arpaio four years ago in his suspected mishandling of illegal immigrants arrested in the Phoenix area, filed a civil lawsuit in federal court Thursday accusing the sheriff and his office using “unconstitutional and unlawful actions” in their handling of Hispanics.

The complaint alleges that the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) and Sheriff Arpaio, the nation’s so-called toughest sheriff, engaged in and continue to engage in a pattern or practice of.

As stated at the Gateway Pundit, “the Obama Administration actually accused Arpaio of blatant disregard of the US Constitution.” This coming from the people who have brought us “Obamacare”.

Sheriff Joe Arpaio reacts to U.S. DOJ lawsuit.

An angry Sheriff Joe said the feds just want to take over his office and have no evidence.

“They do not care how long it will be, what it costs, just that they are taking on the sheriff, taking care of local activists and taking me to court,” said Sheriff Arpaio.

The sheriff says he could accept an auditor to review what he does, but not a monitor to force changes.

“Monitors are not something to fear, they are something to embrace when you have problems. But if you don’t acknowledge the problem then it is hard to embrace the need for reform,” said Perez.

This Obama-Holder Justice Department is out of control. Where was Holder and the Justice Department when it came to prosecuation the New Black Panther Party and voter intimidation?  They need to go and go now.
