Gallup Poll: Hillary Clinton’s Favorable Rating at Record Low 36%

AMERICA HAS NO BUYERS REMORSE, CLINTON AT 36% FAVORABLE RATING …

According to a recent Gallup poll, Hillary Clinton’s favorable rating at an amazing low 36%. Is it really any wonder why she lost the 2016 presidential election?

Hillary Clinton frown

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s favorability with U.S. adults is unchanged from last November — remaining at a record low (36%).

These results, from a Sept. 4-12 Gallup poll, confirm that Clinton’s image remains in a rut nearly two years after she lost the presidential contest in 2016. Her favorable rating is down seven percentage points from where it stood on the eve of the election.

Two key trends would suggest that Clinton should become more popular, not less, after the 2016 presidential election. The first is specific to Clinton. While opinions of Clinton have varied over her long time in the public limelight, she has tended to be quite popular when she is no longer seen as a purely political figure. When her husband, former President Bill Clinton, faced impeachment in 1998, for instance, Hillary Clinton’s favorable rating rose to a record high of 67%. Clinton was also generally well-liked over the course of her 2009-2013 tenure as secretary of state.

Gallup Poll: Republican Party Favorability Highest in Seven Years … Republican Favorability 45%, Democrats 44%

THINK THE TRUMP ECONOMY AND DEMOCRATS DISGUSTING RESIST BEHAVIOR HAS NOT CAUSED THE TIDES TO SWING?

Don’t look now, but here comes the Republicans just in time for the 2018 midterm elections. A recent Gallup poll shows that the GOP has their highest party favorability rating in seven years. Republicans now lead Democrats 45% to 44% and trending upward. This is a 9 pint swing from September. Blue wave? Now that individuals are getting more serious about the 2018 midterms the closer we get to them, look at the tide change. American voters see the benefits of the Trump economy, the tax cuts, the elimination of burdensome regulations,  the low unemployment and record lows for Blacks and Hispanics. They also see the chaos caused by the Left/Democrats and their resistance to what many think are good things from Trump/Republicans.

Are the Democrats about to lose their blue wave? The GOP needs to remind Americans about all the good that has been done in the past two years since Trump has been in office and they have controlled the House and Senate. Are you better off today than you were under Obama and Democrat rule? Because all that you have today goes away if you gove the Hose and Senate to the Democrats. All of it.

Gallup Favorability raring 092418

Forty-five percent of Americans now have a favorable view of the Republican Party, a nine-point gain from last September’s 36%. It is the party’s most positive image since it registered 47% in January 2011, shortly after taking control of the House in the 2010 midterm elections. Forty-four percent give the Democratic Party a favorable rating.

Only one other time in the last decade has the Republican Party had a significantly higher score than the Democratic Party. That one exception came in November 2014, immediately after elections that saw Republicans capture control of the Senate and expand their majority in the House, when 42% rated the GOP favorably and 36% the Democrats.

Republicans Now More Likely to View Their Party Favorably

The overall increase in the favorable image of the Republican Party is a result of a jump in the positive views of Republicans, including independents who lean toward the party. The percentage of Republicans and leaners with favorable views of their party grew from 67% last September to 85% now.

Two other major subgroups that tend to be more Republican than the overall population — men and those living in middle-income households — have become more likely to view the Republican Party favorably in the past year.

Bottom Line

For the Republican Party, less than two months away from an election that could see them lose control of both the House and the Senate, gains in public favorability are a welcome sign. The party has been wallowing in favorable ratings below 40% for most of the last five years after rarely sinking that low in the previous two decades.

No matter how much or how little party favorability affects elections, the fact that Republicans are more likely to view their party favorably than a year ago can be considered a positive indicator for the party, particularly if a more positive image boosts Republican turnout.

Huffington Post Poll Shows Few Believe Kavanaugh’s Accuser Christine Blasey Ford Is Credible

HUFFPO POLL SHOWS FEW FIND KAVANAUGH ACCUSER CREDIBLE …

A funny thing happened on the way to the Brett Kavanaugh Democrat political fit job, according to Daily Caller, a recent Huffington Post poll shows that only 26% of individuals find Kavanaugh’s accuser Christine Blasey Ford as credible. Only 4% of Republicans find her credible and more importantly, only 19% of Independents find Christine Blasey Ford’s accusations toward judge Brett Kavanaugh as credible.

The American people know what has happened to Kavanaugh was an 11th hour political Hail Mary by Democrats to sabotage Kavanaugh’s vote to the SCOTUS.

The Huffington Post released new polling showing that the American public doesn’t generally believe Brett Kavanaugh’s accuser is credible. The same poll also showed that more men than women believe she is credible.

The study found that the sexual misconduct allegation against Kavanaugh has had “virtually no effect on public support for his nomination.” 35 percent of those polled that they’ve heard a lot about the accusations even after wall-to-wall coverage by national media over multiple days. “Fewer than a quarter of respondents to the latest HuffPost/YouGov survey say they’re following Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearings very closely,” the study found.

The HuffPost/YouGov polling asked a statistically significant cross-section of the American public if the accusations made by Christine Blasey Ford were “credible. “Do you think that the allegation of sexual assault against Brett Kavanaugh generally is or is not credible?” The polling asked. The responses showed that 28% of males and 25% of females believe the allegations are credible.

Another Skewed CNN Poll Shows 10 Point Democrat Midterm Advantage Over Republicans of Likely Voters

FAKE NEWS, FAKE POLLS …

A recent CNN poll shows that Democrats have a 10 point lead over Republicans in a generic ballot test, 52% of likely voters to 42%. But wait a minute, has the liberal MSM leaned nothing from the 2016 elections and all of the bogus polling? However, what should we expect from CNN Fake News? Let’s take a look at the methodology of the poll. So in a poll where CNN states that Democrats have a 10% point lead, they sampled 34% Democrats and only 25% Republicans. Really CNN? Then there was a so-called 40% Independent.

Democrats maintain a wide lead over Republicans in the race for control of the House of Representatives, a new CNN Poll conducted by SSRS finds, including a 10-point lead among those most likely to turn out this November.

In a generic ballot test, 52% of likely voters back the Democratic candidate for House of Representatives in their district while 42% back the Republican. Among all registered voters, Democrats hold a 12-point margin over the GOP, suggesting preferences have not shifted much since an August CNN Poll, which did not include an assessment of likely voters.

Fake Polls

The questionable sampling methodology:

MORE ON METHODOLOGY

A total of 1,003 adults were interviewed by telephone nationwide by live interviewers calling both landline and cell phones. Interviews were conducted in English and Spanish. Among the entire sample, 34% described themselves as Democrats, 25% described themselves as Republicans, and 40% described themselves as independents or members of another party.

Didn’t CNN already dump their former polling firm ORC after the 2016 elections because of the BS polling and data? No one trusts fake news and fake polling. It does not appear that much has changed.

Most of the headlines about CNN’s new public-opinion poll this week focused on President Donald Trump’s 38 percent approval rating. But there was also this: After a 2016 election in which most of the data underestimated Trump’s chances, CNN has a new pollster.

The new poll was conducted by SSRS, a major survey-research company, instead of CNN’s old partner, ORC International. CNN confirmed this week that its partnership with ORC, which included co-branding of the poll, has ended after more than a decade.

The switch comes at a perilous moment for both the media and the polling industry. Attacked by the president as “fake news” for results he disagrees with, pollsters and the news organizations they work with inspire little confidence from the public. A Marist-McClatchy poll — yes, a poll about polling — back in March found that only 7 percent of Americans have a great deal of trust in polls, and just 29 percent said they have a good amount of trust in polls.

Rasmussen Daily Presidential Tracking Poll … President Trump at 50%

HARD TO BELIEVE AFTER ALL THE NEGATIVE, BIAS NEWS COVERAGE …

According to the most recent Rasmussen Daily Presidential Tracking poll, President Donald Trump has a 50% approval rating among U.S likely voters. Heading into the 2018 midterm elections, Trump has wind in his sails and the American economy is roaring. After all of the bias, fake news against Trump by the liberal mainstream media, Trumps actions speak louder than their words. Trump rally is “Making America Great Again,” and the people are starting to realize it.

Donald Trump thumbs up

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Tuesday shows that 50% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Forty-nine percent (49%) disapprove.

The latest figures include 35% who Strongly Approve of the way the president is performing and 40% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -5. (see trends).
