Poll: 35% of Americans Don’t Know ObamaCare & Affordable Care Act Are the Same Thing

UNINFORMED AMERICA, LET’S HOPE THESE PEOPLE DON’T KNOW HOW TO VOTE EITHER …

As reported at The Hill, 35% of Americans have no clue that Obamacare and the not-so Affordable Care Act are one in the same. How is that possible. The Times article bias tried to portray that people are confused between the two names for the same law, yet some how when we look at the numbers … among Republicans, a higher percentage of 72% said they knew Obamacare and the A.C.A. were the same. The liberal bias Times would have you believe that the high percentage is a reflection of the party’s longstanding hostility to the law. Sorry Times, maybe it’s because they pay attention more and are more informed.

More than one-third of Americans are unaware that ObamaCare and the Affordable Care Act are the same law.

The figure comes from a new poll by Morning Consult that found 35 percent of Americans do not know ObamaCare is another label — made popular by the GOP — used to describe the Affordable Care Act, enacted under former President Barack Obama in 2010.

About 17 percent of Americans polled thought they were two different laws, and 18 percent said the didn’t know whether they were the same policy or two different things.

The New York Times published the results from the survey on Tuesday. Morning Consult conducted the survey in late January with a sample of 1,890 adults.

The bias analysis of the polling data courtesy of the NY Times:

Sorry Libs, it’s not a matter of confusion, this is a matter of a voter electorate being willfully and woefully uninformed. When one side of the political spectrum is so uninformed regarding what was supposed to be Barack Obama’s signature piece of legislation, their is a problem and it has nothing to do with confusion. However, ask those same Obamacare-ACA challenged people who the Kardashian’s are and the number skyrockets.

This finding, from a poll by Morning Consult, illustrates the extent of public confusion over a health law that President Trump and Republicans in Congress hope to repeal.

In the survey, 35 percent of respondents said either they thought Obamacare and the Affordable Care Act were different policies (17 percent) or didn’t know if they were the same or different (18 percent). This confusion was more pronounced among people 18 to 29 and those who earn less than $50,000 — two groups that could be significantly affected by repeal.

Among Republicans, a higher percentage (72 percent) said they knew Obamacare and the A.C.A. were the same, which may reflect the party’s longstanding hostility to the law.

This confusion may affect the public debate over health care policy. If many people think repealing Obamacare would not affect the popular provisions of the A.C.A., they might not understand the potential consequences of the proposals being considered in Washington.

President Donald Trump Signs Obamacare Executive Order

TRUMP SIGNS OBAMACARE EXECUTIVE ORDERS

And so it begins, the undoing of Obamacare and the disastrous executive orders that Barack Obama laid waste upon America with his pen. President Donald J. Trump signed an executive order directing federal agencies to “ease the burden of ObamaCare.” You live by the executive order, you die by it.

Obamacare under Trump

President Trump on Friday signed an executive order directing federal agencies to “ease the burden of ObamaCare,” according to White House press secretary Sean Spicer.

Trump signed the order in front of reporters at the Resolute Desk in the Oval Office, one of his first official acts as president.

He did not comment on the actions and no further details about them were immediately available.

White House chief of staff Reince Priebus is also sending out a memo ordering a government-wide “regulatory freeze until further notified,” Spicer said.

Lame Stream Media Tries to Tell Americans that Obamacare Has Never Been More Popular

BROUGHT TO YOU BY THE SAME PEOPLE WHO SAID HILLARY CLINTON WOULD WIN IN A LANDSLIDE ….

This bias and liberal MSM are now trying to tell Americans that as the GOP looks to repeals Obamacare, that the failed so-called Affordable healthcare plan has never been more popular. According to a recent NBC News/WSJ poll, Obama care is suddenly more popular, as opposed to the reason why millions of people voted for Trump to repeal it. A note to the liberal MSM, an election defeats a poll. Donald Trump ran on the fact that he would repeal and replace the failed Obamacare system. The American people embraced that and wanted it done. No skewed poll is going to change that.

The people spoke … this poll is irrelevant.

Trump tweet Obamacare

As Republicans get closer to repealing it, President Barack Obama’s federal health-care law — or Obamacare — has never been more popular, according to results from a new national NBC News/Wall Street Journal.

And half of Americans — 50 percent — say they have little to no confidence that Republican proposals to replace the law will make things better.

The poll finds 45 percent of respondents believing that the health-care law is a good idea, which is the highest percentage here since the NBC/WSJ poll began asking the question in April 2009.

Maybe all of the elites at NBC and the WSJ should be put on Obamacare and we shall see if they believe the bovine scataology of their own poll.

Senate Votes 51-48 to Advance Budget Resolution … The Dismantling Begins of Obamacare

AND SO IT BEGINS,  THE DISMANTLING OF OBAMACARE … OBAMACARE IS TOAST!!!

Last night the US Senate voted 51-48 to approve a budget resolution that would instruct the House and Senate to initiate legislation that would repeal major parts of Obamacare. And so it begins, the begging of the end of Obamacare. It would appear that Obamacare, the so-called Affordable Care Act, is finally going to be repealed, as the disastrous Barack Obama signature piece of healthcare legislation implodes. Congress looks to do many surgical cuts to eliminate Obamacare as opposed to one swift move, much of which is due to the over-intrusive law itself.  President-elect Donald Trump has stated that he wants to repeal and replace Obamacare.

The Senate voted 51 to 48 early Thursday to approve a budget resolution instructing House and Senate committees to begin work on legislation to repeal major portions of the Affordable Care Act. The House is expected to take up the legislation Friday.

Senate Democrats made a late-night show of resistance against gutting the Affordable Care Act by forcing Republicans to take politically charged votes against protecting Medicare, Medicaid and other health-care programs. The measure narrowly passed without the support of any Democrats.

The hours-long act of protest culminated in the early hours of Thursday when Democrats made a dramatic display of rising to speak out against the repeal measure as they cast their votes. The Democrats continued to record their opposition over their objections of Senate Republicans.

In his news conference on Wednesday, President-elect Donald Trump insisted that repeal would not occur without a replacement plan. “Obamacare is the Democrats’ problem. We’re going to take the problem off the shelves for them. We’re doing them a tremendous favor,” Trump said.

Obamacare Premiums to Rise Almost 25% and Some Consumers Down to One Insurer … What Happened to the $2500 Premium Reduction?

HOW THAT “UNAFFORDABLE” AFFORDABLE HEALTH CARE ACT WORKING OUT FOR YOU AMERICA?

As stated at Town Hall, just days after Barack Obama gave Obamacare a ringing endorsement, it is now confirmed that consumers will be feeling the wrath of Obamacare premiums rising as much as 25%. As reported by the AP, as per the administration, Obamacare premiums will go up sharply next year under President Barack Obama’s health care law, and many consumers will be down to just one insurer. According to CNN, the average premium increase masks wide variation among the states. In Arizona, the benchmark plan’s average premium will increase 116% in 2017. Remember this when you go to the polls America. I can’t say we did not warn you and tell you this from day one. You were lied to America by the current president, do we really want 4 more years of Democrat lies?

Remember when this liar told you Obamacare would reduce your premiums up to $2500 a year?

Premiums will go up sharply next year under President Barack Obama’s health care law, and many consumers will be down to just one insurer, the administration confirmed Monday. That’s sure to stoke another “Obamacare” controversy days before a presidential election.

Before taxpayer-provided subsidies, premiums for a midlevel benchmark plan will increase an average of 25 percent across the 39 states served by the federally run online market, according to a report from the Department of Health and Human Services. Some states will see much bigger jumps, others less.

Moreover, about 1 in 5 consumers will only have plans from a single insurer to pick from, after major national carriers such as UnitedHealth Group, Humana and Aetna scaled back their roles.

“Consumers will be faced this year with not only big premium increases but also with a declining number of insurers participating, and that will lead to a tumultuous open enrollment period,” said Larry Levitt, who tracks the health care law for the nonpartisan Kaiser Family Foundation. [...]

In some states, the premium increases are striking. In Arizona, unsubsidized premiums for a hypothetical 27-year-old buying a benchmark “second-lowest cost silver plan” will jump by 116 percent, from $196 to $422, according to the administration report. [...]

Dwindling choice is another issue.

The total number of HealthCare.gov insurers will drop from 232 this year to 167 in 2017, a loss of 28 percent. (Insurers are counted multiple times if they offer coverage in more than one state. So Aetna, for example, would count once in each state that it participated in.)
