Failure of Leadership … President Barack Obama Approval Rating Drops to 37%

Americans are stating to blame everyone for the government shut down, however, President Barack Obama’s job approval rating just fell below 40%.

OUCH!!! According to the most recent Associated Press-GfK survey, President Barack Obama has a 37% job approval rating. The poll talks about the government shut down and who is to blame, but the eye popping data from this survey is that Obama’s approval numbers are now in the 30′s. However, as more and more Americans are seeing the arbitrary and heinous acts of the shut down, like closing the WWII Memorial to elderly vets in wheel chairs and stopping death benefits to our fallen soldiers … more and more people, including the MSM are starting to blame all, Democrats, Republicans and Obama for the shut down.

Asked if she blamed Obama, House Republicans, Senate Democrats or the tea party for the shutdown, Martha Blair, 71, of Kerrville, Texas, said, yes, you bet. All of them.

“Somebody needs to jerk those guys together to get a solution, instead of just saying ‘no,’” said Blair, an independent. “It’s just so frustrating.” It’s also costly: She’s paid to fly with a group to four national parks in Arizona and California next month and says she can’t get her money back or reschedule if the parks remain closed.

The poll found that the tea party is more than a gang of malcontents in the political landscape, as its supporters in Congress have been portrayed by Democrats. Rather, it’s a sizable — and divisive — force among Republicans. More than 4 in 10 Republicans identified with the tea party and were more apt than other Republicans to insist that their leaders hold firm in the standoff over reopening government and avoiding a default of the nation’s debt in coming weeks.

Most Americans disapprove of the way Obama is handling his job, the poll suggests, with 53 percent unhappy with his performance and 37 percent approving of it. Congress is scraping rock bottom, with a ghastly approval rating of 5 percent.

OBAMACARE … EPIC FAIL!!!

Welcome to the train wreck of Obamacare that everyone knew it was. From Bloomberg News, Obamacare health exchanges are an unmitigated disaster. Not only did these clowns have three years to develop the exchanges, but how does ‘The One’ use web traffic as an excuse when he claimed there were 30 million uninsureds? But it gets worse if possible. Not only can’t individuals access the healthcare exchange web pages, as JWF opines “you may not even be covered even if you manage to sign up.” What a colossal clusterf*ck. But what else would you expect from Obama’s signature piece of legislation?

Insurers are getting faulty and incomplete data from the new U.S.-run health exchange, which may mean some Americans won’t be covered even after they sign up for an insurance plan.

While it’s not clear how widespread the problem is, the reports from industry consultants are the first hint that the technical troubles faced by consumers trying to enroll in health plans under the Affordable Care Act may also be hitting the insurers. The companies are receiving electronic files that can’t open or have so much missing information on new enrollees they’re unusable, the consultants said.

Some insurers have been forced to fix entries by hand, said Bob Laszewski, an insurance-industry consultant based in Arlington, Virginia.

“If we don’t see substantial improvement by the end of this week, then I would throw up the yellow flag,” said Dan Schuyler, a consultant advising states and insurers on the exchanges. “If we don’t see it in the next two to three weeks, it’s time for red flags. The concern is some people could get to Jan. 1, and not have coverage.”

Since the exchanges opened on Oct. 1, consumers have struggled to access the online marketplaces, which have been overwhelmed by millions of visitors.

Even SNL could not overlook the colossal failures of the Obamacare website this week in ‘Winners & Loser.’ Skip to the 1:00 mark unless you want to hear the usual dribble of the liberal media attacking the GOP and demonizing the Tea Party. One of the Losers for the week was Obamacare and the Healthcare.gov web site for its numerous technical issues and failures. And just think, for years SNL said that they had no material on Obama to make jokes. Go figure.

As reported at the The Weekly Standard, a portion of the website of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), an agency of HHS, was apparently hacked as long as two months ago. Makes you want to trust the Healthcare.gov web page and give the government your personal information, doesn’t it?

A portion of the website of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) was apparently hacked as long as two months ago.  SAMHSA is an agency of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). HHS also runs the new Obamacare insurance marketplace, Healthcare.gov.

Dozens of pages hawking retail merchandise have been uploaded to the SAMHSA site, ranging from NFL jerseys to Ugg shoes to Armani fragrances.  Screen captures of the various pages are shown here:

UPDATE: Shortly after this story was posted, the site nace.samhsa.gov returned an error message saying that the site could not be found.  Later, the following message appeared on the site (misspelling included): “This site is undgoing maintenance. We are sorry for any inconvenience this has caused you.” Here’s a current screen capture:

Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV) Asked “But If You Wanted to Help One Child With Cancer, Why Wouldn’t You Do It?” His Response, “Why Would We Want To Do That”

What ever happened to Democrats were for the Children? Democrat Senator Majority Leader Harry Reid and Democrats let America know just how little they care about children with cancer …

Just how little do Democrats care more about playing politics than they do actually caring about the children with cancer of “We the People,” one needs to look no further than the video below of Harry Reid being asked by a CNN reporter. Reid was asked, “but if you wanted to help one child with cancer, why wouldn’t you do it?” The reporter was referring to the fact that the GOP controlled House was passing a bill to add funding for the National Institute of Health (NIH), national parks and veterans.

Harry Reid’s response … “WHY WOULD WE WANT TO DO THAT”.

Isn’t that special. So we can now see just how little Obamacare really is about patient care and more about control. If Democrats really cared about the well being of individuals, they would pass a piecemeal bill that would include aiding cancer children. But no, instead they would rather play hard ball politics and defend Obamacare, a health care law that a majority of Americans do not want and most want it repealed. But Democrats would rather protect Obamacare at all cost than help children with cancer. Hmm, and I thought Democrats were supposed to be compassionate?
