Fox News Poll: 60% of Voters Think ObamaCare Implementation is ‘a Joke’

60% of voters believe that the implementation of Obamacare is a joke … JUST 60%?

A Fox News poll shows that 60% of voters think that the Obamacare implementation is a joke, while 30% actually believe it is going fine. Seriously, even if you like the law Democrats, there is no way that one can say that the implementation is going fine. Many believe, including former Obama White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs that some one should be fired for the disastrous implementation. That is hardly going fine. However, it is not just the implementation of Obamacare that is a joke, as Americans learn more and more about Barack Obama’s signature piece of legislation that was passed on a partisan Democrat vote by only Democrats in the House and the Senate, they will come to realize that the joke is on them.

Six voters in ten describe implementation of ObamaCare as “a joke,” and more voters than not say problems with the government’s health insurance website are so bad someone should be fired, according to a Fox News national poll.

The new poll, released Wednesday, also finds a majority continues to dislike President Obama’s signature achievement: 51 percent of voters use negative terms to describe the health care law, saying it is either “a step backward” or “disastrous.” That’s down two percentage points from 53 percent in August. On the other side, 44 percent describe ObamaCare positively, either as “wonderful” or “progress.” It was 43 percent two months ago.

Most Democrats continue to describe the health care law positively: 12 percent “wonderful” and 62 percent “progress,” while most Republicans continue to call it “a step backward” (20 percent) or “disastrous” (66 percent).

Full poll results can be seen here.

Other poll results:

  • Do you approve or disapprove of the job Barack Obama is doing as president? 53% disapprove – 41% approve
  • Do you favor or oppose establishing limits on the number of terms members of the U.S. Congress can serve, including your own senators and representative? 77% Favor – 18% Oppose
  • And which of the following do you think best describes how Obamacare is being carried out and implemented? 60% a joke – 31% Its going fine

UPDATE I: As Americans voice their displeasure with Obamacare disastrous rollout, many Democrats like Sens. Joe Manchin and Jeanne Shaheen are jumping ship and looking for political cover. They will not be the only ones.

OUCH, ANOTHER HIT FROM MSNBC … ‘Very, Very Major’ Social Media Site Co-Founder, Obamacare Technology ‘Sucks’

It is not just Republicans who think that the Obamacare rollout is a disaster …

Willie Geist on MSNBC’s ‘Morning Joe’  via Newsbusters told  panel that a person he interviewed who was a co-founder of a site so major that they would all know it and might have it open on their computers said the criticism of the Obamacare website is fair because the “technology sucks.” Let’s just say that social media web site founders are hardly ever Conservatives.

Obamacare depends on young, healthy people, especially, young healthy males to sign up for the train wreck and subsidize older, sicker or poorer individuals. However, if the young, technological savvy generation on Twitter, Facebook and other social media think the technology sucks as well, they will lose them. Young folks are not going to waste their time, spending hours waiting for a web site in which we currently live in an immediate, instantaneous world.

From NewsBusters:

WILLIE GEIST: I was interviewing last night at an event one of the co-founders of a very, very major social media site that you all know and may have open on your computers. And I said, are we being fair here? Am I missing something? He said, no, they had two-and-a-half years to figure this out; to build a site that would work, and as you said, there were going to be problems in the beginning, but you have things in place to fix that. And he said, frankly, the government’s technology sucks.

Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) Working on Bill that would Delay Obamacare Individual Mandate

What’s good for businesses should also be good for American individuals …

According to TPM, Democrat Senator from West Virginia Joe Manchin is working on a bill that would delay the “individual” mandate fir Obamacare for one year. After the disastrous rollout of the Obamacare website, Healthcare.gov, and the fact that the site just does not work and is an embarrassing  joke … a delay in the individual mandate may be in order. It will be interesting to see if this bill gets traction with other Senate Democrats. The dominoes are starting to fall … More to the point, Democrats fear a backlash in 2014.

On second thought, maybe this Obamacare is a complete train wreck

Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) is working on legislation to effectively delay Obamacare’s individual mandate for one year, his office told TPM on Wednesday.

His spokesman, Jonathan Kott, said Manchin opposes a bill proposed by Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) to delay the mandate for a more indefinite period of time while problems with the insurance exchanges persist.

Manchin is the second Democrat this week to call for a delay in the individual mandate. As reported earlier, Senator  Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) voiced her support for a delay as well.

How about we just scrap the entire mess?

UPDATE I: Senate Dems Up for Re-Election in 2014 to Back Delay of Obamacare Enrollment Deadline.

These Democrats don’t care about the people, they are doing this to save their collective political a$$es and their power.

Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH), who is up for re-election in 2014, wrote to Obama on Tuesday and asked him to delay the enrollment deadline for the individual mandate. “Given the existing problems with the website, I urge you to consider extending open enrollment beyond the current end date of March 31, 2014,” Shaheen wrote to the president. “Allowing extra time for consumers is critically important so they have the opportunity to become familiar with the website, survey their options and enroll.”

On Wednesday, Sen. Mark Pryor (D-AR), who is facing a tough challenge in his 2014 re-election against Rep. Tom Cotton (R-AR), came out in support of Shaheen’s call for a delay of the individual mandate’s enrollment deadline. Pryor had previously been on record as supportive of the mandate as is.

Now, according to CNN’s Bash, the Democratic Party is coordinating an effort to support a delay in the individual mandate

RUT-ROH, Democrat Senator Jeanne Shaheen of New Hampshire Calls for Obamacare Open Enrollment Extension

RUT-ROH, and so it begins … we see the first chink in the armor.

Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) is the first Democrat law maker calling on Barack Obama and the White House to extend the Obamacare enrollment period due to the disastrous rollout. The enrollment period is scheduled to end March 31, 2014. Also, Shaheen asks the White House for clarification as to whether Americans will still be penalized if they are unable to obtain health insurance after the open enrollment period ends on March 31, 2014. If individuals don’t have insurance for at least three months out of the year, they could face a portion of the fine, which amounts to $95 or 1 percent of an individual’s income.

Democratic Sen. Jeanne Shaheen is calling on the White House to extend Obamacare’s open enrollment period amid continued frustration with the troubled HealthCare.gov.

“The difficulty that people in New Hampshire and in other states that are relying on the federally facilitated marketplaces are experiencing is incredibly frustrating and disappointing,” Shaheen wrote in a letter to President Barack Obama. “For over three years, we have been waiting for the creation of the health insurance exchanges, which now in their fourth week of existence, are riddled with problems.”

She is also asking the administration to clarify whether Americans will get fined for not getting insurance when the site is not working properly.

The move makes Shaheen, of New Hampshire, the first Senate Democrat to come out for extending the open enrollment period, which is scheduled to end on March 31.

If the Obamacare failures continue, we are going to see a surge of politicians asking for and extension and eventually and outright delay in the “individual” mandate.

UNREAL … Only 3 of 13 Obamacare Photo Op Props Behind Barack Obama at Rose Garden Speech are Obamacare Registrants

You just can’t make this stuff up … The Campaigner in Chief was back at it again yesterday.

From The Daily Caller comes the following, only 3 individuals of the 13 used in yesterday’s Obama photo-op for Obamacare have actually successfully registered. Are you kidding? Are you telling me out of the so called 500,000 individuals that Barack Obama claims have signed up for Obamacare, he could not get 13 people to stand behind him as pawns for a photo-op? This is beyond comical. As stated at Hot Air, the White House communications team had three weeks to find 13 people who’ve actually enrolled in Obamacare by logging into Healthcare.gov and to serve as human props for the Obama press conference and they could not. Does that tell you just how bad the roll-out has been and people have not either been able to access or don’t care to. But what would you expect from the epic failures of the Obama administration, they had 3 years to create and implement the website Healthcare.gov and look at what a catastrophe that has been.

Obama_Laughing

Obama to low information voters … Really, 3 out of 13 is a good percentage

Of the 13 people who flanked President Obama during his speech defending Obamacare in the Rose Garden Monday, just three had successfully registered for the new Obamacare exchanges.

A list of the people who joined Obama on stage provided by the White House included people who have or “will” benefit from Obamacare, small business owners, representatives from “partner organizations,” and new registrants.

The three people who were able to register included: Janice Baker, who introduced the president and as of last week was the only person to have successfully enrolled in health care coverage through Delaware’s state exchange; David Hall, an IT consultant who signed up for health care through the DC Health Link; and Zohre Abolfazli, who was able to register through healthcare.gov last night and still needs to shop for her “best plan.”

These are the screw ups you want in charge of healthcare in the United States? I can’t wait until it comes time to process claims and allocate funds to doctors and hospitals. When that fails they are going to put offices out of business by not providing payment. Also, anyone have confidence that the code for Obamacare is HIPAA compliant?
