Retired ABC News Journalist Ann Compton Discussing Barack Obama: He Launches ‘Profanity-Laced’ Tirades Against Press

Imagine how Barack Obama would have acted and dealt with the press if they were not carrying the water for his administration? It is hard to believe that Obama had an adversarial role with the media when it was basically the MSM and their lack of vetting or asking any sort of investigative questions that got him elected and reelected.

Transcripts below from Newsbusters - C-SPAN, 38:05:

ANN COMPTON: Before I walked out the door on September 10, I was a strong voice for complaining that this particular administration has been more opaque than any I have covered about what the President does in the Oval Office everyday. He is far less accessible on photo-ops with meetings. Even some meetings on the record, meeting in the Roosevelt room with financial leaders from, from Wall Street or on issues with environmental groups, or with issues with environmental groups, with public opinion leaders, I think most presidents have been far more forthcoming than the second Obama term, in terms of what the President is doing every day and we almost never get photo-ops.

C-SPAN, 55:50:

LAMB: So, off of that experience, how many other presidents were that aware of what they said to you and how many just did not pay attention at all and you had no personal reaction from them?

COMPTON: I think most presidents realize – had a personal connection. I don’t think they ever — we were ever in a confrontation-type moment where they felt the need to apologize. I have seen in the last year Barack Obama really angry twice. Both were off-the-record times. One, profanity-laced where he thought the press was making too much of scandals that he did not think were scandals. Another where he took us to task for not understanding the limits he has with foreign policy and the way he’s dealing with the Middle East and Iraq, and Afghanistan. And I don’t find him apologetic. But I find him willing to stand up to the press and look them in the eye, even though it was off the record and just give us hell.

LAMB: Does he have a point?

COMPTON: From his point of view, he may. But we cover what we are allowed to cover. And when policy decisions and presidents are inaccessible and don’t take questions from the press on a regular basis, I think they get — they reap what they sow.

Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz Wins The 2014 Value Voters Summit Presidential Straw Poll … Mocked MSM & PC Police with Undocumented White House Visitor Joke

America, if you really want to elect a true Conservative to turn the country around, you best get serious about Ted Cruz.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) wowed them at the 2014 Values Voters Summit and won the straw poll for the second year in a row. Ted Cruz won with 25%, former Johns Hopkins University neurosurgeon and political newbie Ben Carson came in second with 20%, while former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee  came in third, with 12%. Carson also came in first in the polling for vice president, winning 22% of the votes. Just a note to those at Value Voter Summit, Huckabee is not a conservative.

But Ted Cruz was the star of the show and had the crowd laughing with joke about the recent White House fence jumper, nailing the MSM, political correctness and illegal immigration all in one.

“We should hold the media to account. Because I will say in their reporting on this person who broke into the White House, they really have not used the politically correct term and we should insist that ABC, NBC, CBS, they refer to the visitor according to the term that is politically correct, an undocumented White House visitor.

The Hill:

Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz won the Value Voters Summit presidential straw poll on Saturday.

The crowd burst onto applause on Saturday, as Family Research Council President Tony Perkins announced that Cruz won 25 percent of votes at the annual Washington conference.

The victory is a big victory to the Republican firebrand and Tea Party icon, coming just a day after he drew standing ovations with a religious and emotional speech that blasted ObamaCare, congressional Democrats and called for Republicans to take over the White House in 2016.

Cruz also won the straw poll in 2013.

Coming in second was neurosurgeon Ben Carson, a political novice who has a large following in conservative circles but said earlier this week that there is a “strong” likelihood that he would run for president. He won 20 percent of the votes.

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee (R) came in third, with 12 percent of the vote.

As a signal of Carson’s popularity at the summit, the former Johns Hopkins University neurosurgeon came in first in the polling for vice president, winning 22 percent of the votes.

The Weekly Standard’s Bill Kristol Joins ABC’s “This Week” with George Stephanopoulos

Looks like Fox News and ABC News exchange conservative contributors …

The Politico is reporting that the Weekly Standard’s Bill Kristol is joining ABC News and ABC’s  ”This Week” with George Stephanopoulos as a contributor and analyst. Interestingly enough, just recently FOX News poached  political columnist and author George Will as a contributor from ABC.

A source  familiar with the negotiations says the former Fox News commentator has landed with ABC in a handshake agreement that they’re about to sign. ABC News spokesperson Heather Riley also confirmed Kristol’s move in an email.

The agreement, one source said, includes regular appearances on the Sunday show, as well as special events and other political-relaed events. But there’s also a window that allows him to do other shows on cable television.

Kristol ended a decade-long run as Fox News contributor last summer two years after he and Roger Ailes got into a disagreement that had a cooling effect on their relationship.

YIKES … ABC’s Matthew Dowd Says Barack Obama Presidency and Credibility is in Questions and He ‘Can’t Recover’ from Disastrous Year

Mathew Dowd stated on ABC’s ‘This Week’ that President Barack Obama’s presidency can’t recover from the disastrous year in 2013.  He would be correct. At this point Obama’s poll numbers are worse than Nixon and still has room to go down further as the ills of Obamacare, the high cost and high deductibles and the lie that Obama made to the American people 36 times is not going away any time soon.

“Here he’s dropped a net 25 points in twelve months since January until today. His presidency in my view and the credibility of his presidency and the relevancy of his presidency is dramatically in question today and I think he can’t recover from it. Cannot recover from it. No president has ever recovered from it at this point in his presidency.”

Face it Obama minions, had the American people not been lied to by Obama he would have lost the 2012 presidential election in an epic landslide and We the People will not forget that going forward.
