ESPN has a remarkable 30 for 30 called “Fantastic Lies.” Its the story of the fake and trumped up rape charges against members of the Duke lacrosse team and the medias want and need to have the accusations in the case be true. If you have not seen it already, please do so. Although the three LAX Players, David Evans, Collin Finnerty and Reade Seligmann were exonerated of any crimes and reached settlements with Duke University, their lives could never have been the same.

Whats amazing is that it was a terrible confluence of black and white, rich and poor, and privileged and the not-so privileged. The MSM so wanted the accusations in the case to be true. Sound familiar? Sounds like the liberal MSM has not learned a damn thing in 10 years.

On the evening of March 13, 2006, a fateful party at a house in Durham, N.C. plunged the nation and its media into a frenzy of assumptions, social crusading, and miscarried justice. When the Duke men’s lacrosse team hired two exotic dancers during a night of drinking, one of the dancers accused three team members of a brutal gang rape in the bathroom of a run-down rental house just off of Duke’s tree-lined East Campus.

The story scratched every social-justice itch, and everyone seemed more than happy to scratch away, despite a lack of evidence. A little more than a year after the alleged assault, North Carolina Attorney General Roy Cooper took the unusual step of declaring the three accused men “innocent,” after a “tragic rush to accuse and a failure to verify serious allegations,” and prosecuting Durham District Attorney Mike Nifong was disbarred and convicted of contempt.

Hypocrite Barack Obama Dismayed by Vulgarity, Violence and Divisive Rhetoric of Campaign … Flashback 2008 Obama Says, “If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun.”

Isn’t this rich, the most divisive president on modern times is calling out others and stated that he was dismayed by “vulgar and divisive rhetoric” directed at women and minorities as well as the violence that has occurred in the 2016 presidential campaign. REALLY? Because Obama has been the virtue of nice and togetherness. Obama has never called for violence or uttered anything either as a presidential candidate or as president now, has he? But once again Obama preaches to us when he has done worse. He states that we have allowed this to go on and turned a blind eye. Maybe he just needs to look in the mirror.

President Barack Obama said Tuesday he was dismayed by “vulgar and divisive rhetoric” directed at women and minorities as well as the violence that has occurred in the 2016 presidential campaign, a swipe at Republican front-runner Donald Trump that also served as a challenge to other political leaders to speak out and set a better example.

“The longer that we allow the political rhetoric of late to continue and the longer that we tacitly accept it, we create a permission structure that allows the animosity in one corner of our politics to infect our broader society,” Obama said. “And animosity breeds animosity.”

Once again we are witness to the politics of Barack Obama where we are supposed to forget his vile rhetoric and only focus on the present.  Flashback to when Barack Hussein Obama was a candidate and the divisive and violent rhetoric he was spewing. It was Obama who told his minions during the 2008 presidential candidate … “If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun.” REALLY? I wonder what the MSM would do if Trump said the same thing?

President Obama, who as a candidate once urged supporters to “bring a gun” to the knife fight of his campaign, on Tuesday decried “vicious” rhetoric from Republican presidential candidates.

“As a citizen who will still be leading this office, I will not support somebody who practices that kind of politics,” the president said.

But as a candidate for the White House in 2008, Mr. Obama was no stranger to violent rhetoric. He encouraged the notion that he was a product of Chicago’s particularly tough brand of politics.

At a campaign event in Philadelphia in June 2008, Mr. Obama told supporters, “If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun. Because from what I understand, folks in Philly like a good brawl. I’ve seen Eagles fans.”

Later that year, as polls showed a close race between Mr. Obama and Republican nominee John McCain, Mr. Obama urged a crowd of about 1,500 at a campaign rally in Elko, Nevada, to get confrontational in their community for him.

“I need you to go out and talk to your friends and talk to your neighbors,” Mr. Obama said. “I want you to talk to them whether they are independent or whether they are Republican. I want you to argue with them and get in their face.”

Mitt Romney on Thursday will slam GOP front-runner Donald Trump as “a phony” and “a fraud” who is “playing the American public for suckers” in a major speech on the 2016 race.

“His promises are as worthless as a degree from Trump University,” the 2012 GOP nominee plans to say at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City at 11:30 a.m. ET. Romney will argue that “a Trump nomination enables” Hillary Clinton to win in November.

“His domestic policies would lead to recession,” Romney will say about Trump. “His foreign policies would make America and the world less safe. He has neither the temperament nor the judgment to be president. And his personal qualities would mean that America would cease to be a shining city on a hill.”

“It’s my honor, real honor, to endorse Mitt Romney,” Trump said, with Romney and his wife standing nearby. Calling Romney “tough” and “smart,” Trump said, “he’s not going to continue to allow bad things to happen to this country.”

Romney responded by praising Trump for “an extraordinary ability to understand how our economy works and to create jobs” and for being “one of the few who has stood up to say China is cheating” in international trade.

In what might have been one of the strangest thing yet from the Clinton campaign, and that’s saying a lot, Hillary decided to go what I hope was off script and mention a story about a barking dog that acted like a truth-o-meter. Clinton literally barked like a dog. Of course she did this with references to what GOP candidates have states during the campaign. Really Hillary, you want to actually discuss lying? She certainly has the CO-JONES the size of a giraffe and probably bigger than most gutless Republicans in Congress. For Hillary to bring up the issue of lying when she is deemed the most untrustworthy candidate is simply shocking. I cant wait for all the political ads to come from this sound byte.

In attacking Republicans as liars during a rally in Nevada, Hillary Clinton broke into an impromptu series of barks Monday, imitating a truth-monitor dog.

In telling the story, shown in a video clip on ABC News, she said there was once a political ad on Arkansas radio that would bark whenever a candidate said something that wasn’t true.

We all knew, well I hope most us us knew, that Donald Trump was not a true Conservative, he just latched on the the discontent and the frustration with all politicians, especially those in Washington, DC and especially with many in the Republican party who were tired of being lied to. Make no mistake about it, the Republican party has betrayed its base, but not by Conservatives, but instead by the GOP establishment and those in leadership roles. Those like Ted Cruz draw the ire of the Republican sellouts and go along to get along GOP politicians. Much like Ronald Reagan did in the 1980′s.

So a note to Donald Trump, either you haven’t a clue to what you are talking about or you are a wolf in Democrats clothing. As it is hardly the Conservatives who have sold out the base. Because we all know that it was conservatives who have political campaign donations to Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid. Oh, oops, that was Donald Trump.  We don’t need lectures from who sold out the Conservative cause when he was actively making donations to the other side.
