Scared Monkeys would like to wish all a HAPPY NEW YEAR – 2014!!!
Wishing you a healthy, joyous and successful New Year. As we look back over this past year and remember it with fondness and sorrow. To the happiness we experienced and the sorry of those lost. We look to the future and the new year in 2014.
I want to take a moment to thank all the readers and listeners of Scared Monkeys.com, Scared Monkeys forum, Blink on Crime and Scared Monkeys Radio. Thank you for a memorable 2013. So many stories, so many missing persons so many crimes, and so many other events in the world of politics, sports and entertainment. A special thanks to all the moderators (CBB, San, Nut44x4, Bearlyhere) and to Klaas who devote their time and do so much to make it all work. Thank you all!!!

Dubai appears to have broken the record for the largest fireworks display of all time this New Year’s Eve. The firework display was designed by famed U.S. fireworks firm Fireworks by Grucci.
The show started 20 seconds before midnight local time, and covered 61.6 miles of the city’s waterfront, encompassing landmarks like the Palm Jumeirah and the World Islands — Dubai’s two sets of manmade islands — and the Burj Khalifa skyscraper and Burj Al Arab, the city’s most luxurious hotel, according to Guinness World Records.
