Paul Otellini, CEO on Obama’s Jobs Council Endorses Mitt Romney
Even those on Obama’s Jobs Council are backing Mitt Romney.
How bad is it for president Barack Obama and his failed agenda and policies for the economy and job growth? CEO’s across the US are touting Mitt Romney to be president in 2012 including members of Obama’s own jobs council. Paul Otellini, Intel’s CEO who is on Obama’s Jobs Council has endorsed Romney.
To that end, the Romney campaign trotted out a roster of well-known business leaders Thursday who are backing the Republican presidential nominee. Supporters include Charles Schwab, Cisco Chief Executive John Chambers and Bernie Marcus, the co-founder of Home Depot. The newest name on the list belongs to Intel CEO Paul Otellini, a member of President Barack Obama’s Council on Jobs and Competitiveness.
Mr. Otellini’s relationship with the president has been hot-and-cold since Mr. Obama took office. In 2010, he criticized the administration for failing to generate more robust job growth. He was particularly critical of the stimulus. But the Intel CEO joined the president’s so-called jobs council to much fanfare the following year as Mr. Obama embarked on a very public – if short-lived – courtship of big business.

Obamanomics: For Every One Person Added to Labor Force, 10 are Deducted from the Labor Force
The entire failed Obama economy and job recovery summed up in one chart …
Forget the fabricated unemployment numbers, forget all the complicated numbers fed to us for human consumption. For those not completely versed in economics and how the political numbers game works, you need to look no further than the following charts that sums up Obamanomics and his failed job recovery …
From the Weekly Standard … For Every 1 Person Added To Labor Force Since January 2009, 10 People Added To Those Not In Labor Force.
“For Every 1 Person Added To Labor Force Since January 2009,” the chart reads, “10 People Added To Those Not In Labor Force.”
That is, in nearly the four years, since President Obama took office in January 2009, only 827,000 people have been added to the labor force, while during that same time period, 8,208,000 have been added to those not in the labor force.
The chart relies on data available from the federal Bureau of Labor Statistics.
As the Lonely Conservative reminds us, this piece of important information must have been missed by Michelle Obama when touting Barack’s economy and jobs recovery. Imagine that, it would appear that Obama’s recovery is not as “huge” as Michelle thinks.

Bad Polling News for Obama … Battleground Tracking Poll Shows Democrats Less Enthusiastic than Republicans
It would seem that Democrats are tired of being tired and out of work …
In a close political race, the election will be determined on turn out and according to battleground poll, Republicans are much more enthusiastic that Democrats.
Democrats have a severe enthusiasm issue when it comes to the upcoming Presidential election. According to a new Politico/George Washington University poll, of likely voters only 73% who support Barack Obama say they are “extremely likely” to vote, as compared to 86% who back Romney. Making matters worse for Obama, 84% of Republicans say they are extremely likely to vote, as compared to 76% of Democrats.
A new POLITICO/George Washington University Battleground Tracking Poll [polling date HERE] of likely voters shows Obama ahead of Mitt Romney 49 percent to 48 percent nationally, a statistical tie and a percentage point closer than a week ago.
The head-to-head numbers have held remarkably steady through the past three weeks, but there’s been a notable shift of intensity from the Democrats to the Republicans since the party conventions over a month ago. Most of the poll’s calls were made before Romney’s strong performance at the first presidential debate in Denver.
Only 73 percent who support Obama say they are “extremely likely” to vote, compared to 86 percent who back Romney. Likewise, 84 percent of Republicans say they are extremely likely to vote, compared to 76 percent of Democrats.
Among those extremely likely to vote, Romney actually leads Obama 52 percent to 46 percent. That’s up from a 2-point lead last week. Obama led 50 percent to 47 percent among this group three weeks ago.
Who can honestly say that this is surprising? Why would anyone be enthusiastic about what has happened the past 4 years under Obama? Does America really want four more years of record food stamps, record federal deficits, a +$16 trillion debt, failed job growth, a real unemployment that is in the mid to high teens and a 30 year low employment participation rate?
How does a Democrat get jazzed about a Presidency where even Obama did not care enough to prepare for a presidential debate and turned in such an epic failure of a performance that it is going down by many as one of the worse ever? Hope and Change is gone and has been replaced by one of the most negative campaigns ever. The Obama message has gone from “Hope” to Romney lied with no explanation what Obama will do in the next four years. The GOP had Bush fatigue after 8 years, it would seem that Democrats have done the same after four exhausting Obama years.
VP Joe Biden’s Moment of Truth as He Tells Supporters … “The Middle Class Has Been Buried the Last Four Year”
Another Joe Biden gaffe or a fact under the Obama Presidency?
At a campaign stop yesterday in Charlotte, NC, Vice President Joe Biden admitted to a crowd of supports what many of us have known and experienced during the Obama presidency, “the middle class has been buried the last four years”. DOH! Oh how Barack Obama and his reelection minions must have hung their head after hearing these words coming from Biden’s mouth. Does Biden realize that Obama has been the president for the past four years, or does he think that this is still the 2008 election as Obama does not appear to ever have come out of campaign mode and done the work of the president?
Biden made the remark at a campaign stop in Charlotte, N.C., in the course of slamming Republican tax policies which Democrats claim would cut taxes for the rich and hike them for the middle class.
“This is deadly earnest,” Biden said. “How they can justify — how they can justify raising taxes on the middle class that’s been buried the last four years. How in the lord’s name can they justify raising their taxes with these tax cuts?”
MIDDLE CLASS HAS BEEN BURIED FOR PAST 4 YEARS, A RINGING ENDORSEMENT OF OBAMANOMICS
The middle class buried, ya think? Under President Obama he has increased our national debt by nearly $6 trillion in 4 years. Average American household now owes $137,000 as share of national debt. We have had 43 consecutive months of unemployment above 8%, millions of Americans have left the work force, a record number of people are on food stamps and median income is at its lowest level since 1995. of course the middle class has been buried for the past 4 years under the failed policies of Barack Obama.
Mitt Romney responded to the Biden comments that the middle class has been buried for the past four years. Look for this to be used again tonight at the 1st Presidential debate between Romney and Obama.
This was not a gaffe, sadly it is the painful truth. It might have been the first truthful thing he has said since Joe stated that Barack Obama was not ready to be President. BTW, it is barack Obama who is raising taxes on the middle class through Obamacare and his unwillingness to extend all of the Bush tax cuts and make them permanent. TAXMAGEDDON affect all, including the Middle Class.
How Will Unemployment Affect the Vote in 2012 … Real Unemployment Reaches 20% In 7 Colorado Counties
COLORADO, ARE YOU BETTER OFF TODAY THAN YOU WERE FOUR YEARS AGO. OBAMANOMICS HAS FAILED COLORADO …
As reported at the Colorado Observer, Colorado’s official unemployment rate is 8.2%; however, the “real unemployment” rate has reached 20% in seven Colorado counties. Making matters worse, it is the first time in y years that the official Colorado rate surpassed the national unemployment rate. The counties with such massive real unemployment are Costilla County at 23.56%, Pueblo 20.09%, Montrose 20.62%, Fremont 19.66%, Huerfano 21.78%, Archuleta 19.97% and Dolores at 19.85%.
In seven counties in Colorado unemployed individuals are close to or exceeding 20% of the population, a letter from the Chief Economist of CDLE to the U.S. Department of Agriculture says.
The letter, obtained through the Colorado Open Records Act, was sent August 29 as required by federal law. According to the Consolidated Farm and Rural Development Act, the Colorado Labor Department is required to certify counties where the “Not Employed Rate” surpasses 19.5%.
The “Not Employed Rate” is defined as “the percentage of individuals over the age of 18 who reside within the community and who are ready, willing and able to be employed but are unable to find employment as determined by the State Department of Labor.”
Ranking highest was Costilla County at 23.56 percent. The list runs from larger counties like Pueblo (20.09%), Montrose (20.62%) and Fremont (19.66%) to smaller populations like Huerfano (21.78%), Archuleta (19.97%) and Dolores (19.85%).
The unemployment rate in Colorado in 2008 was 4.8%. Barack Obama won Colorado in the 2008 Presidential election 54% to 45%.
With such real unemployment affecting those in Colorado, one really has to speculate as to how this will affect voting in the 2012 Presidential election as Colorado is considered a battle ground state. Currently RCP has Obama ahead in the averaging of polls; however, Rasmussen has Romney up by 2%. It’s hard to imagine that individuals would vote for an incumbent President whose economic policies have failed a state so badly.

This is Hardly a Surprise … Red States’ Income Growing Faster than Blue States’
The choice is yours America, do you want your economic growth to be like a “Red” or “Blue” state?
Let this be a reminder to those in 2012 swing state/battle ground states, Independents and open-minded and concerned Democrats, as reported in USA Toady, Red state’ incomes are growing faster than that of Blue states’. What is most interesting is that when averaged nationally, the robust gains in red states and meager gains in blue states produced a national growth rate remarkably similar to that in the swing states. This is what would be called a trend America. there is a reason why Red states are doing better than the big government, union controlled, high tax blue states. As also stated at The Blaze, “Gee, maybe there’s something to be said about this ‘limited government’ & ‘free market’ stuff, huh?” A note to those in swing states in 2012 … what would you want your state ti be in the next four years, like a red state or blue? The choice is yours in November 2012.
The income of those living in red states has climbed 4.6% since the recession began in December 2007, a USA TODAY analysis of total increases found. The average income of those living in blue states and swing states saw a much slower increase. The personal income of blue states has increased 0.5%, while in the swing states, income increased 1.4%.
Contrary to Obama’s comments, it looks like there is a difference between a Red state America and a Blue state America. Even though a President is supposed to be President of all America, it is obvious what works economically and it ain’t big government, Nanny states.
Income is growing much faster in Republican-leaning “red states” than in Democratic-tilting “blue states” or the pivotal swing states that will decide the 2012 presidential election, a USA TODAY analysis finds.
Personal income in 23 red states has risen 4.6% since the recession began in December 2007, after adjusting for inflation. Income is up just 0.5% in 15 blue states and Washington, D.C., during that time. In the dozen swing states identified by USA TODAY that could vote either way Nov. 6, income has inched ahead 1.4% in 4 ½ years.
Key swing state findings:
•Declines. Four of the 10 slowest growing are swing states: New Hampshire, Michigan, Florida and Nevada. The Silver State’s income plunge is in a class of its own, down 10.8% because of its real estate collapse.
•Gains. Eight of the top 10 states in income growth lean Republican.
What more does it take for Americans to realize what direction America needs to go in 2012? How much data, how many obvious signs and indicators do Independents and open minded Americans who are concerned with the future of the United States need to rescue our country?
President Barack Obama Says “I Take Full Responsibility for Everything” … After Blaming Bush, Europe, ATM’s, Republicans, Tsunamis, Earthquakes and Movie Trailers (VIDEO)
Last night during a 60 Minutes interview Obama stated, “I take full responsibility for everything, eh, to some degree”… Obama truly is the “LYING KING”.
What a bunch of garbage this is. Check out all of the VIDEO links below and hear for yourself Obama not taking responsibility. During the entire first term of Barack Obama’s presidency, Obama has blamed everything and anyone for the issues with the United States economy and abroad including George W. Bush, the Republican Congress, Europe, tsunamis, earthquakes, ATM’s , his Arab Spring he supported, and Youtube video trailers to obscure and unseen movies. He has blamed every thing, but his own domestic and foreign policy failures that is. How Obama can say this with a straight face and the MSM not counter the comment with a response shows that Obama is willing to lie and say anything to get reelected and the complicit, corrupt media complex is all to willing to oblige him.
From CNN, President Barack Obama takes responsibility of everything, well kinda. In his statement made during a 60 Minutes interview, Obama says the buck sorta stops with him … “I think that, you know, as president I bear responsibility for everything, to some degree.” To some degree? Seriously? How do you make such a statement as President? What leadership. The truth of the matter is that this President has taken responsibility for nothing. Oh wait, Obama did take credit for the killing of Bin laden and spiked the football, even though it was the Navy Seals who did the deed with the aid of intel gained during the Bush administration.
President Barack Obama discussed his frustration with gridlock in Washington, saying his “biggest disappointment” in his nearly four years in office has been the failure to oversee change in the nation’s political climate.
“My biggest disappointment is that we haven’t changed the tone in Washington as much as I would have liked,” Obama said in a CBS News interview that aired Sunday.
Asked if he bears any blame for the stalemate, Obama said the buck stops at his desk.
“I think that, you know, as president I bear responsibility for everything, to some degree,” he said on CBS’ “60 Minutes.”
Throughout the presidential campaign, Mitt Romney’s campaign and Obama’s critics have dogged the president for failing to get certain legislation passed in recent years, while Team Obama responds by faulting congressional Republicans for not compromising.
What a joke and deceitful President we have in office. As Weasel Zippers states regarding Obama taking full responsibility, GWB was unavailable for comment. More from Macsmind on the joke of the day. Just last week he failed to take responsibility during a Univision interview. Does Obama have amnesia or is he a compulsive liar? You make the call.
Wow! Where to start. Well just two days ago at the Univision he took responsibility for nothing, especially when he was asked why he didn’t keep his promise on immigration reform.
Well here on immigration he blames the economy, war, the birds, bees and those dastardly Republicans. Which is all crap. He had a bullet proof majority for two years and only worked on a legislation that was opposed by a majority of Americans – ie: Obamacare.

Return of the Jedi … Mitt Romney Responds to Leaked Fundraiser Video & Points Out Difference of His Vision and Obama’s Failed Economic Policies … Remember what Alexis de Tocqueville Said
“A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world’s greatest civilizations has been 200 years.”
Alexis de Tocqueville
Mitt Romney responds to the tape that was leaked at Mother Jones and comments on what he meant when he referenced the 47%. Romney stood by his comments and why not? Does anyone not think there are differences between the two candidates? Does anyone not think that Reelect Obama is not parsing out voting blacks and seeing what Democrat traditional voting blacks will be there for them in November? Romney stated that Obama starts out with 47, 48, 49 percent who will vote for him no matter what. He then said that he does the same, or at least he hoped so. Romney described the Q & A session where it was his job to appeal to some who voted for Obama last time and who were in the middle.
It should hardly come as a shock to Obama, Democrats, Liberals or the corrupt liberal media complex that those who do not presently pay taxes are hardly going to be swayed by Romney’s promises of lowering tax rates. Those who have become permantly entrenched in government dependence will vote for big government Obama. Nuthing from nuthin is still nuthin.
“Of course, there’s a very different approach of the two campaigns. As I point out that among those that pay no tax, approximately 47% of Americans, I’m not likely to be highly successful with a message of lowering taxes. That’s not as attractive to those who don’t pay income taxes as to those who do. And likewise, those who are reliant on government are not as attracted to my message of slimming down the size of government…
The president and I have two very different approaches to the future of America and what it takes to ignite our economy and put people back to work. The president believes in what I describe as a government centered society. Where government plays a larger and larger role and plays more and more of the needs of individuals. And, I happen to believe instead in a free enterprise, free individual society where people pursuing their dreams are able to employ one another, build enterprises, build the strongest economy in the world. I happen to believe that my approach is the approach that will put 23 million people back to work again.
We’ve watched the approach of the president’s approach over the last 3 1/2 or 4 years. And his government centric, larger and larger government approach has meant that we have 15 million more people on food stamps, 23 million people out of work or stopped looking for work, or underemployed. We have had 43 straight months of unemployment above 8%. And my view is the right approach for the nation is not to adopt a government centered approach but instead a free, free people, free enterprise, free market consumer driven approach and that will build the strongest economy for ourselves and for the coming generations.”
In the end a line has to be drawn. Obama, Biden and Democrats talk so much about it being Patriotic to pay taxes. So does that mean that Obama and Biden are saying that the 47% who do not pay taxes are Un-Patriotic? That would be the meme if a GOP President or VP had made such a comment.
Make no mistake about it America, you have two choices in 2012 … a free America where all have an opportunity to succeed and those most vulnerable are protected or a Big Government Nanny state where you can be average, kept and in servitude to the government. Its Your choice.
Mitt Romney Says … Obama Supporters Fail to Take Responsibility For Their Own Lives & Will Vote for Obama No Matter What
Mitt Romney, the GOP candidate for Presidential told donors earlier this year that Obama supporters fail to take responsibility for their own lives and that no matter what they will vote for Barack Obama as they believe that the government is responsible to take take of them and they are entitled to pretty much everything including healthcare. This is being lauded as a secret tape from Mother Jones, a gotcha moment. Sorry Ma Jones, it sounds pretty much on par to what Romney and Obama have been saying already.
There are 47 percent of the people who will vote for the president no matter what. All right, there are 47 percent who are with him, who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you-name-it. That that’s an entitlement. And the government should give it to them. And they will vote for this president no matter what…These are people who pay no income tax.
Let us not forget that during the 2008 campaign Obama promised JOBS, JOBS, JOBS. Then during every State of the Union Address, Obama promised who would laser focus on JOBS. He has done nothing of the sort and instead sadly created a government dependent class. One might say that was Obama’s intentions all along.
Who does not think that individuals need to boot strap themselves and take responsibility for their lives? I actually give KUDOS to Romney for saying it like it is. Although I tend to disagree some what with the percentage, I would say that about 40% probably would vote for Obama because they believe America is an entitlement society. There are some who need a safety net, the truly disabled included. Sorry, but there are many in America who leach off of the system and others. C’mon folks, we all know individuals that do so. The 47% dependency class is a number and points to those who do pay no taxes, yet benefit the most from other hard working, tax paying individuals. As stated at Hot Air, how else can we explain how a GOP convention hammered home the terrible US economy, high unemployment, record food stamp recipients and most importantly, reminding us of many small business owners that “you did build it”.
So how can anyone explain how Obama has a positive approval rating and is tied/ahead in the polls and garners a constant 45-47%? Because there are those who will vote for Obama even if we had a Depression. However, enough of the hypocrisy of so-called writing voters off. Doug Ross reminds us that Obama takes part in the same game. How do those folks who cling to their Bibles and guns feel? Written off? Obama wrote off the white working class a long time ago.
Enough of a four minute so-called secret gotcha tape of Mitt Romney that the liberal, corrupt media complex will exploit to further Obama’s campaign reelection. Any honest American will look back over the past four years and realize that Barack Obama’s policy and agenda has been terrible for America and the so-called 47%. Personally, I believe in uplifting the “47%” and creating an environment that is conclusive to getting them back to work, not creating a dependent cradle to grave government dependency.
President Barack Obama Says, If GOP Wants Me ‘To Walk the Dog or Wash Their Car, I’m Happy to Do It’
The United Stated economy is headed over the cliff and the Middle East is on fire and Obama is still in the silly season as the most partisan and divisive President ever now says, can’t we all just get along. Obama lower the federal deficit? Since when has Obama ever been concerned with lowering the deficit? Obama promised in 2008 he would reduce the deficit in half, all he has done is increase it like no other president before him. Actually like almost all other presidents combined before him.
Even though under Obama’s first term in office the United States has had 43+ consecutive months of unemployment over 8%, record federal debt including over $5 trillion under this president, record number of people on food stamps and Obama makes the following foolish comment, “If GOP Wants Me ‘To Walk the Dog or Wash Their Car, I’m Happy to Do It”. After nearly four years of not listening to Republicans, after nearly four years of Obama and Democrats insulting and calling the GOP Nazi’s and that the GOP wants to harm old people, children and pollute the air … 50 days out from an election Obama now wants to play nice? Give me a break.
President Barack Obama, on the stump in the swing state of Ohio on Monday, said that in working with Republicans to reduce the deficit, he was willing to show “more love” and even “wash their car” to get the job done.
While speaking in Cincinnati on Monday, Obama said, “The only thing they [Republicans] can do is keep trying to bluff their way through until November, and hope that you won’t call them on it. But understand Cincinnati, look, I want to work with them to reduce the deficit. I’ve said if the Republicans need more love, if they want me to walk the dog or wash their car, I’m happy to do it.”
Obama wants to work with the GOP like when he and Democrats did with ramming Obamacare down the throats of Americans against the will of the people? How about like that Obama $1 trillion stimulus package that was so bi-partisan?
The Lonely Conservative nails it with the best line of the day, “The guy who goes out of his way to skirt Congress every chance he gets. He’d eat their dogs before he’d work with Republicans, at least the ones with principles.” Amen Sister!
