The Salvation Army are seeing record number of families asking for help this Christmas season. But what else would one expect when a record number of Americans are on food stamps and an employment participation rate at a dismal 63.6%. Obama and Democrats continue to tour the faux-unemployment rate of 7.7%. More and more Americans are dropping out of the work force, including 350,000 in November alone. All this while Obama claims there is a job recovery without any recovery. Obama and Democrats can spin the economic numbers and situation all they want, Americans know the truth and their circumstances are bleak. At some point Americans will wake up and realize that GWB is not to blame and Obama is. When that occurs there will be hell to pay by Democrats.

Officials with the Salvation Army say they’re seeing a record number of families asking for help this holiday season.

Nearly 18,000 families have registered for Christmas assistance in the last month. That number has grown by 2,500 since last year, breaking the 2009 record.

With all this suffering going on in the US and we have liberals that are more concerned with their liberal ideology than helping those who are in need. This clearly is a mental defect of liberals and shows just how little they care about those who are in desperate need. Their hate so consumes them that they would rather harm the people who are aided by The Salvation Army because of their liberal political ideology. This was never more evident than the screwballs at UC Berkeley who are calling for students on campus to ban the Salvation Army citing their alleged homophobic practices. But these liberal college kids would be the first to be looking for a government hand out at tax payers expense.

Welfare Spending = $168 Per Day for Every Household in Poverty … $137 Median Income Per Day

We have reached a tipping point, welfare spending now more than medium income …  what has happened to our country? America, do you still remember what the word pride means?

As reported at the Weekly Standard, the amount of money spent on welfare programs equals, when converted to cash payments, about “$168 per day for every household in poverty.”  Welfare spending per day per household in poverty is $168, as opposed to the median income per day is only $137. Can you say unsustainable? People are going to begin to say, why work? And that is exactly how you crate a socialist society. At some point this has got to stop. For all the welfare spending, it has accomplished nothing except to create a dependent welfare class of people whose vote can be bought and the loss of liberty and self-respect.

According to the Republican side of the Senate Budget Committee, welfare spending per day per household in poverty is $168, which is higher than the $137 median income per day. When broken down per hour, welfare spending per hour per household in poverty is $30.60, which is higher than the $25.03 median income per hour.

“Based on data from the Congressional Research Service, cumulative spending on means-tested federal welfare programs, if converted into cash, would equal $167.65 per day per household living below the poverty level,” writes the minority side of the Senate Budget Committee. “By comparison, the median household income in 2011 of $50,054 equals $137.13 per day. Additionally, spending on federal welfare benefits, if converted into cash payments, equals enough to provide $30.60 per hour, 40 hours per week, to each household living below poverty. The median household hourly wage is $25.03. After accounting for federal taxes, the median hourly wage drops to between $21.50 and $23.45, depending on a household’s deductions and filing status. State and local taxes further reduce the median household’s hourly earnings. By contrast, welfare benefits are not taxed.”

Sadly, Doug Ross may have best summed up this disastrous overspending on the welfare state, “We are headed for fiscal collapse — and the welfare state keeps growing like a cancer, incentivizing sloth, formalizing a culture of dependency, and killing self-sufficiency.”

Now that the Election is Over … Barack Obama is back to Playing Golf

Unbelievable, the only thing that has prevented President Barack Obama from playing golf was his reelection. The Golfer in Chief has returned.

Looks like we are getting the same old Barack Obama, he is now back on the golf course as the Middle East burns and America is headed off the fiscal cliff.  Sadly, the American voters have decided to make the next four years just more of the same. Nothing could prevent Obama from playing golf except his reelection. Not a US economy in crisis, a national debt of +$16 trillion, record number of Americans on food stamps, record low job participation rate of Americans, the impending fiscal cliff and US soldiers paying the ultimate sacrifice for their country. Nope, only his reelection was the most important thing for Obama to prevent him from playing golf. Now he’s back to his old games that the election is over.

President Barack Obama is spending his first Saturday after winning reelection on the golf course. Today’s outing is to the course on Andrews Air Force Base.

“Motorcade arrived at Andrews Air Force Base at 11:01 am after an uneventful ride,” the pool report reads. “President Obama is playing golf with three White House aides: Eugene Kang, Joe Paulson and trip director Marvin Nicholson, according to a White House official. Pool is holding at the Andrews fast food court for the next few hours.”

All-Time record - 47.1 million Americans were on food stamps last month

While there had been speculation that the BLS may delay the release of its October nonfarm payroll number until after the election, it turned out there was no reason to worry. Perhaps this is because the number, while at stall speed, was not quite as horrible as some had expected (even if the change in average hourly earnings did tumble to new all time lows) and so boosted Obama’s reelection chances. There was, however, another closely tracked number which perhaps is far more indicative of the economic “growth” in the past 4 years, which certainly had a delayed release. The number of course is that showing how many Americans are on foodstamps, and usually is released at the end of the month, or the first day or two of the next month. This time the USDA delayed its release nine days past the semi-official deadline, far past the election, and until Friday night to report August foodstamp data. One glance at the number reveals why: at 47.1 million, this was not only a new all time record, but the monthly increas e of 420,947 from July was the biggest monthly increase in one year.

The Obama administration stonewalled and misrepresented the facts in the attacks on Benghazi and the murder of four Americans. They played four-corners with the CIA Director Petraeus resignation. Jobs data has been questionable. Let us not forget about Iran trying to shoot down one of our drones, that was only reported until after the election as well.  All this was pushed off until after the election so that the public would not have all the facts prior to a presidential election. Bad Polling News for Obama … Battleground Tracking Poll Shows Democrats Less Enthusiastic than Republicans

It would seem that Democrats are tired of being tired and out of work …

In a close political race, the election will be determined on turn out and according to battleground poll, Republicans are much more enthusiastic that Democrats.

Democrats have a severe enthusiasm issue when it comes to the upcoming Presidential election. According to a new Politico/George Washington University poll, of likely voters only 73% who support Barack Obama say they are “extremely likely” to vote, as compared to 86% who back Romney. Making matters worse for Obama, 84% of Republicans say they are extremely likely to vote, as compared to 76% of Democrats.

A new POLITICO/George Washington University Battleground Tracking Poll [polling date HERE] of likely voters shows Obama ahead of Mitt Romney 49 percent to 48 percent nationally, a statistical tie and a percentage point closer than a week ago.

The head-to-head numbers have held remarkably steady through the past three weeks, but there’s been a notable shift of intensity from the Democrats to the Republicans since the party conventions over a month ago. Most of the poll’s calls were made before Romney’s strong performance at the first presidential debate in Denver.

Only 73 percent who support Obama say they are “extremely likely” to vote, compared to 86 percent who back Romney. Likewise, 84 percent of Republicans say they are extremely likely to vote, compared to 76 percent of Democrats.

Among those extremely likely to vote, Romney actually leads Obama 52 percent to 46 percent. That’s up from a 2-point lead last week. Obama led 50 percent to 47 percent among this group three weeks ago.

Who can honestly say that this is surprising? Why would anyone be enthusiastic about what has happened the past 4 years under Obama? Does America really want four more years of record food stamps, record federal deficits, a +$16 trillion debt, failed job growth, a real unemployment that is in the mid to high teens and a 30 year low employment participation rate?

How does a Democrat get jazzed about a Presidency where even Obama did not care enough to prepare for a presidential debate and turned in such an epic failure of a performance that it is going down by many as one of the worse ever? Hope and Change is gone and has been replaced by one of the most negative campaigns ever. The Obama message has gone from “Hope” to Romney lied with no explanation what Obama will do in the next four years. The GOP had Bush fatigue after 8 years, it would seem that Democrats have done the same after four exhausting Obama years.

Following the questionable September 2012 jobs numbers yesterday, former GE CEO Jack Welch tweeted the following that he was extremely critical of the dubious data and accused Obama of manipulation the jobs numbers because of his poor Presidential debate performance.Who would you believe, Jack welch, probably one of the greatest CEO’s ever or the Obama Administration?

Like many other individuals are having, these numbers are not believable. Jack Welch stated that the economic numbers are so off the charts that they are not believable and they should not be presented to the American public as fact that would affect a Presidential election. That of course was the intention of such skewed data that not one economist saw coming. NOT ONE!

At question is how one survey, the Establishment Survey, can have 114,000 non-farm payroll jobs created as reported by the BLS; however, here comes the whopper that is a bit hard to believe …  shocking in the report was that the number of unemployed people dropped by 456,000 to  12.1 million. As stated at NewsBusters, Maybe more shocking, total employment, as measured by the Household Survey, rose by 873,000 in September to 142,974,000, the biggest one month jump since June 1983. Really? Really? How can two surveys of jobs be that far off?

Jack Welch defends his Tweet on CNN

“Twenty five economists were polled and stated the average number of jobs would be about 115K jobs and an 8.1 unemployment.  And then all of a sudden we wake up in the morning and the unemployment rate is at 7.8% with a bunch of assumptions.”

Nearly every economic in America was predicting jobs gained somewhere between 110,000 and 120,000 jobs for September. No one and let me repeat that, NO ONE, was making any such ludicrous prediction of +800K jobs. In the VIDEO below, Labor Secretary Hilda Solis appeared on CNBC and was asked, whether the books have been cooked? Her response was she was insulted to hear such a question. Sorry Madame secretary, we are insulted that the Obama administration would pass anything like this off as a true picture of the job situation in America.

The Weekly Standard has some responses as to these implausible numbers that were released after President Obama failed miserably during the first Presidential debate and 5 weeks before a Presidential elections. Numbers that could only benefit Barack Obama, even though they are completely unbelievable and such an outlier that they should be completely regarded as BS.

“The report presented a slew of contradictory data points, with the total employment level soaring despite the low net number,” said CNBC’s Jeff Cox.

The Washington Post’s Neil Irwin adds, “Weird that payrolls are exactly on forecast but household survey is far better.”

And the Wall Street Journal warns that these numbers should be taken “with a grain of salt.”

AMERICA DO NOT GET DISTRACTED BY A NUMBER THAT CAN BE SO EASILY MANIPULATED BY POOR DATA!!!

The unemployment number does not count people who just have given up and are no longer looking. What you want to keep your eye on is the LABOR PARTICIPATION RATE that is put out by the BLS. When it comes to the economy and jobs one need to look no further than the following data, when Obama took office the participation rate was 65.8. It is presently 63.6, a loss of 2.2 since Obama has been in office. The number has gone down ever year of, his presidency. Yet we are supposed to believe that the economy and jobs are better? VP Joe Biden’s Moment of Truth as He Tells Supporters … “The Middle Class Has Been Buried the Last Four Year”

At a campaign stop yesterday in Charlotte, NC, Vice President Joe Biden admitted to a crowd of  supports what many of us have known and experienced during the Obama presidency, “the middle class has been buried the last four years”. DOH! Oh how Barack Obama and his reelection minions must have hung their head after hearing these words coming from Biden’s mouth. Does Biden realize that Obama has been the president for the past four years, or does he think that this is still the 2008 election as Obama does not appear to ever have come out of campaign mode and done the work of the president?

Biden made the remark at a campaign stop in Charlotte, N.C., in the course of slamming Republican tax policies which Democrats claim would cut taxes for the rich and hike them for the middle class.

“This is deadly earnest,” Biden said. “How they can justify — how they can justify raising taxes on the middle class that’s been buried the last four years. How in the lord’s name can they justify raising their taxes with these tax cuts?”

He has blamed every thing, but his own domestic and foreign policy failures that is. Mitt Romney responds to the tape that was leaked  at Mother Jones and comments on what he meant when he referenced the 47%. Romney stood by his comments and why not? Does anyone not think there are differences between the two candidates? Does anyone not think that Reelect Obama is not parsing out voting blacks and seeing what Democrat traditional voting blacks will be there for them in November? Romney stated that Obama starts out with 47, 48, 49 percent who will vote for him no matter what. He then said that he does the same, or at least he hoped so. Romney described the Q & A session where it was his job to appeal to some who voted for Obama last time and who were in the middle.

It should hardly come as a shock to Obama, Democrats, Liberals or the corrupt liberal media complex that those who do not presently pay taxes are hardly going to be swayed by Romney’s promises of lowering tax rates. Those who have become permantly entrenched in government dependence will vote for big government Obama. Nuthing from nuthin is still nuthin.

The president and I have two very different approaches to the future of America and what it takes to ignite our economy and put people back to work. The president believes in what I describe as a government centered society. Where government plays a larger and larger role and plays more and more of the needs of individuals. And, I happen to believe instead in a free enterprise, free individual society where people pursuing their dreams are able to employ one another, build enterprises, build the strongest economy in the world. I happen to believe that my approach is the approach that will put 23 million people back to work again.

We’ve watched the approach of the president’s approach over the last 3 1/2 or 4 years. And his government centric, larger and larger government approach has meant that we have 15 million more people on food stamps, 23 million people out of work or stopped looking for work, or underemployed. We have had 43 straight months of unemployment above 8%. And my view is the right approach for the nation is not to adopt a government centered approach but instead a free, free people, free enterprise, free market consumer driven approach and that will build the strongest economy for ourselves and for the coming generations.”

In the end a line has to be drawn. Obama, Biden and Democrats talk so much about it being Patriotic to pay taxes. So does that mean that Obama and Biden are saying that the 47% who do not pay taxes are Un-Patriotic? That would be the meme if a GOP President or VP had made such a comment.

Make no mistake about it America, you have two choices in 2012 … a free America where all have an opportunity to succeed and those most vulnerable are protected or a Big Government Nanny state where you can be average, kept and in servitude to the government. Its Your choice.
