TRAGEDY AT HOMECOMING PARADE IN STILLWATER, OK

There are 3 dead and dozens injured as a vehicle drove straight into the crowd watching the Oklahoma State homecoming parade in Stillwater, Oklahoma on Saturday. A suspects has been arrested following the fatal motor vehicle accident. 25 year old Adacia Chambers has been arrested by police on suspicion of DUI. Look for many more charges to follow in this fatal crash.

Oklahoma State University’s homecoming parade quickly turned into pandemonium Saturday morning as a car barreled into a crowded street corner, causing massive injuries and at least three deaths.

A 25-year-old woman was taken into custody on suspicion of  driving under the influence. Authorities say the woman, Adacia Chambers is not a OSU student, “but was clearly intoxicated.”

Police announced the fatalities at a press conference.

UPDATE I: There have now been 4 people confirmed dead and 47 individuals injured following Oklahoma State University homecoming parade.

Sadly, a 2 year old boy has died from his injuries as a result of Adacia Chambers’ car driving full speed into the crowd. Nash Lucas was identified as one of the victims by his family. Nash was at the parade with his mother, Nicolette Strauch, of Weatherford, Oklahoma.

Four people are dead and 47 hurt in a car crash involving spectators Saturday morning at an Oklahoma State University homecoming parade.

Authorities said the crash happened at 10:30 a.m. at Hall of Fame and Main Street.

Police said five people are in critical condition. Twelve others, including six children, are also hospitalized at six hospitals in Oklahoma City, Tulsa or Stillwater.

Thirty people were treated and released from the hospital including five children.

UPDATE II: Woman faces 2nd-degree murder charges in parade crash.

A 25-year-old woman accused of driving a car into a crowd of people at an Oklahoma State University homecoming parade over the weekend, killing four people and injuring dozens of others, is set to make her first court appearance.

Adacia Chambers of Stillwater is scheduled to appear Monday in Payne County District Court. Chambers was arrested after the Saturday crash on suspicion of driving while under the influence. Stillwater police said Sunday she was being held on four additional counts of second-degree murder.

UPDATE III: Suspects lawyer believed she was suffering from mental illness.

The woman facing four second-degree murder charges after allegedly driving her car into the crowd at Oklahoma State University’s homecoming parade will face a judge Monday hours after her attorney said he believed she was suffering from mental illness.

Adacia Chambers, 25, was arrested after Saturday’s crash on suspicion of driving while under the influence. On Sunday, authorities added four charges of second-degree murder, one for each person who died in the tragedy.

Chambers’ attorney Tony Coleman said she did not smell of alcohol when he met her hours after the crash and did not appear to be someone who had been in a “drunken stupor.”

According to the LA Times, the Los Angeles County sheriff’s detectives will present evidence next week to prosecutors that could land Caitlyn Jenner in hot water and  lead to a misdemeanor manslaughter charges in connection with the February 7, 2015 chain-reaction motor vehicle crash that caused the death of 69 year old Kim Howe dead. It has been determined in the investigation of the crash that Jenner was not driving above the speed limit, but driving at an unsafe speed for the road conditions that day. If found guilty, Jenner could face a year in jail.

What are the odds that because of his/her celebrity that Bruce Kardashian, I mean Bruce Jenner, I mean Caitlyn Jenner serves a day for hie/her speechless actions and killing someone?

Los Angeles County sheriff’s detectives will present evidence next week to prosecutors that could lead to a misdemeanor manslaughter charge against Caitlyn Jenner in a deadly chain-reaction crash earlier this year on Pacific Coast Highway.

Jenner was driving at an unsafe speed Feb. 7 when her Escalade hit Kim Howe’s car, ultimately leading to the deadly crash, said Det. Richard Curry of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Jenner was not driving above the speed limit, but driving at an unsafe speed for the road conditions that day, he added.

The evidence will be presented to the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office next week. Prosecutors will review the case and decide whether to formally charge Jenner. Typically, a single misdemeanor manslaughter charge could carry a sentence of a year in jail.

43 year old NASCAR driver Tony Stewart hit and killed 20 year old Kevin Ward, Jr. last night at a dirt racetrack in Canandaiqua, New York. Stewart’s vehicle hit Kevin Ward Jr. after he got out of his race car while the race was under a yellow flag. Ward walked on to the track pointed his finger and yelling at Stewart following his crash at the end of turn two during lap 14 of 25. Kevin Ward Jr. died from injuries suffered in the incident.

The Nascar driver Tony Stewart struck and killed another driver on Saturday night while competing in a dirt track sprint car event at Canandaigua Motorsports Park in Central Square, N.Y.

A graphic video posted on YouTube showed Stewart, a three-time Sprint Cup champion in Nascar, hitting the driver, Kevin Ward Jr., 20, as Ward stood outside his racecar on the track.

Ward and Stewart had bumped cars during an earlier lap, sending Ward’s racecar into an outside wall and prompting a caution flag. Ward then exited his racecar and approached on foot as Stewart’s racecar came around again. As Ward stood on the track and pointed at Stewart, Stewart’s racecar sounded as if it revved its engine then fishtailed, the right tire hitting Ward and dragging him under the car.

Tony Stewart was “visibly shaken” by an incident in which his car struck and killed a driver during a dirt-track race in Canandaigua, N.Y., but will drive today, as planned, in a nearby NASCAR race.

“He is believed to be back in Watkins Glen [site of today's NASCAR race] at this time,” Philip C. Povero, Ontario County, N.Y., sheriff told reporters Sunday morning. “Mr. Stewart has, again, fully cooperated with the police officers that are investigating. He was visibly shaken by this incident and has promised his continuing cooperation in this investigation.”

Actor, Comic and Former SNL Cast Member Tracy Morgan in Critical Condition after Crash on the N.J. Turnpike … One Killed in Multi-Vehicle Accident (Update: 35 Year Old Trucker Kevin Roper Charged with One Count of Death by Auto & Four Counts of Assault by Auto)

Actor Tracy Morgan is in critical condition following a multi-vehicle accident on the New Jersey Turnpike that has left one individual dead. The 45 year old actor/comedian was traveling with six others in a limo bus on the NJ Turnpike when the accident occurred between the limo bus,  two tractor-trailers, an SUV and two cars. Tracy Morgan was traveling in a limo bus that overturned around 1 a.m. Saturday morning of Exit 7A of the Turnpike in Cranbury, NJ, just north of Trenton. One passenger aboard Morgan’s bus was killed. Morgan was rushed to Robert Wood Medical Center in New Brunswick, NJ, where he is in intensive care. Three others were in critical condition and another is listed in fair condition.

Comedian Tracy Morgan is in critical condition after a multiple-vehicle accident in New Jersey, according to media reports.

The former “30 Rock” and “Saturday Night Live” star was traveling with six others in a limo bus on the New Jersey Turnpike at about 1 a.m. Saturday when the accident occurred, Sgt. Gregory Williams of New Jersey State Police told the Associated Press.

UPDATE I: Trucker charged in crash that injured Tracy Morgan.

Wal-Mart driver, 35 year old Kevin Roper of Georgia, was charged with one count of death by auto and four counts of assault by auto.

The truck driver, 35-year-old Kevin Roper, of Jonesboro, Georgia, apparently failed to slow for traffic ahead and swerved at the last minute to avoid a crash, the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s office said.

Instead, the big rig smashed into the back of the Mercedes limo bus, prompting a chain-reaction crash with a second tractor-trailer, an SUV and two cars, authorities said. No one in the other vehicles was injured.

So far, there is nothing to suggest Roper fell asleep or was dozing, state police Sgt. 1st Class Greg Williams told The Associated Press.
