Joe Biden: Paying Higher Taxes is a Patriotic Act … Biden Compares Taxes to Charity & Patriotism

Since when have paying taxes been considered charity? Biden tries to pass off big government as Patriotism. Unbelievable. Welcome to Patriotism, Democrat style … wearing a flag pin not patriotic while paying higher taxes is patriotic. Welcome to a glimpse of what it will be like in an Obama Administration.

Obama, is that a flag pin on your uniform?

What else would a tax and spend liberal say? According to Democrat VP candidate Joe Biden, “paying higher taxes is a patriotic act. Biden discussing raising taxes while his Presidential running mate is stating that he will not be raising taxes on Americans. This coming from the Democratic Party and ticket that has previously stated that we are not supposed to question people’s patriotism. These are the same people that said that wearing a flag pin was not a true sign of patriotism, yet some how paying higher taxes is. AMAZING!!! So I guess Biden’s philosophy is that those that pay low taxes would be unpatriotic? Wouldn’t that be the middle class then?

Democratic vice presidential candidate Joe Biden said Thursday that paying more in taxes is the patriotic thing to do for wealthier Americans. In a new TV ad that repeats widely debunked claims about the Democratic tax plan, the Republican campaign calls Obama’s tax increases “painful.”

Noting that wealthier Americans would indeed pay more, Biden said: “It’s time to be patriotic … time to jump in, time to be part of the deal, time to help get America out of the rut.”

So let’s get this straight, Joe Biden has given in charity an average of $369 a year for the past decade or about .02% of his income while he tells Americans they need to pay more taxes or they are not Patriots?

KANYE WEST; Haven’t You Said Enough?

Fresh off his Hurricane Katrina telethon embarrassment, Kanye West today appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres television chat show to makes even more ridiculous comments.

He said, “Back in the days when it was time to clean the kitchen I would try to sweep the dust under the kitchen sink instead of really taking care of it, and if you spilled something on that floor all that dust came right up in front of your face. That’s basically what the flood did.

“They have been trying to sweep us (African-Americans) under the kitchen sink and it was so in people’s faces and so on TV… that they couldn’t even hide it any more.

Children Say the Most Amazing Things; while Adults are Arguing over post Hurricane Katrina

The post Hurricane blame game has begun. Although there is a time and a place to obviously fix the wrongs that we have witnessed, now is the time to help those in need not point fingers. There is so much blame to go around it makes no sense for adults to cast stones as who in America is to blame when from the Federal, State and Local levels all failed, including some its citizens. However, those of us must remember that even if there were plans in place, a worst case scenario occurs. However, what is more amazing in all of this while adults fight over the blame game in the name of debate listen to what the children are saying around us. Looks like we all may learn a little bit about humility and what is truly so innocent and right. Out of the mouth of a 6 year old little girl from one of our own comes the following:

Just thought I would share a story of what my daughter did today that reminded me how innocent and compassionate children are.

My six year old daughter went with me grocery tonight. When we drove up there were news vans and CHP all over the parking lot covering the Red Cross Donation Drive that was set-up.

My daughter asks “Mommy, can we go over there and give them some more money?” with the sweetest smile on her face.

I answered “Of course we can, we should give all we can to help right now because people really need our help.”

“Mommy, can you pull this tooth out?” as she tries to wiggle a tooth not ready to come out.
