Yesterday on NBC’s ‘Meet the Press,’ White House economic adviser Gene Sperling admitted that, yes, in fact, the sequestration was President Obama’s plan, even though Obama lied about it during the 2012 Presidential debates and more recently. Obama claimed that the sequester was not his idea and something he did not propose. Mr. President, YOU LIE!

What is interesting is that the liberal MSM actually did pursue this story. Although it happens of rarely as Halley’s Comet, David Gregory did make Gene Sperling twist in the wind until he finally admitted that the sequestration was Barack Obama’s idea. Weasel Zippers asks, could there be some hope for the MSM to actually hold this administration accountable? Probably not, but anything is better than the nothing that we have observed for the past 4+ years. Which begs the question, what shape would the country be in and would have Obama ever been reelected, let alone elected if the MSM had done their job and held Obama’s feet to the fire?

GENE SPERLING: I meant that, while the first issue of whose idea it was, the sequester, was one I disagreed with him on but I could see how honorable people could disagree. I was trying to explain to him, from a substantive point of view, that the idea that the president of the United States was moving the goalpost by asking for the type of balance of tax reform that raised revenues, that the Speaker Boehner himself, as you noted, had called for, as well as long-term entitlements, together, to get rid of the sequester, was not only not moving the goalpost: That was the whole idea of the sequester. And I think that e-mail was cordial. It was substantive. It was polite.

DAVID GREGORY: But you say, “You’re going to regret it.” I mean, does the president think that’s a good idea to say to reporters, to challenge them that, “You’re going to regret staking out that claim”?

Americans saw their income drop so dramatically in January that it marked the deepest one-month decline in 20 years. Of course the bias MSM will have you believe that it is merely a coincidence that this occurred on Obama’s watch. It was Obama’s tax the so-called rich agenda that made corporations pay  out early dividends to avoid the upcoming Obama tax hikes. It was Obama’s refusal to extend the payroll tax cuts that made  most workers (including the middle class that Obama claims to care about) had  to pay 2% more in taxes this year.

Americans saw their income drop so dramatically in January that it marked the deepest one-month decline in 20 years.

Personal income decreased by $505.5 billion in January, or 3.6%, compared to December (on a seasonally adjusted and annualized basis). That’s the most dramatic decline since January 1993, according to the Commerce Department.

All this as Barack Obama added $6 Trillion to the National Debt.

Since President Barack Obama took office in January 2009, more than $6 trillion dollars has been added to the national debt.

“Without fanfare, the Bureau of Public Debt at the Treasury Department quietly posted its daily debt report showing the total public debt of the U.S. government topped $16.687 trillion. (To be exact: $16,687,289,180,215.37),” reports Mark Knoller of CBS. [debt clock]

“On January 20, 2009, the day Mr. Obama took office, the debt stood at $10.626 trillion. The latest posting reflects an increase of over $6 trillion.”

And debt is expected to increase by nearly another trillion this year. “Nevertheless, the Office of Management and Budget projects the national debt will continue to increase by over $800 billion this year and by amounts in the range of $500 billion to $800 billion in the out years – all of which will add to the national debt.”

Rush Limbaugh Says “For First Time in My Life, I’m Ashamed of My Country” (Video)

Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh told his audience: “For the First Time in My Life I Am Ashamed of My Country”.  Limbaugh went on to say that he is tired of the same old politics of fear and the sky is falling fear tactics. Its the same stuff, the same threats, blame and arguments. All we do is just continue to spend more and more and no one wants to talk about the real issue … WE cannot afford to spend any more.

Limbaugh added that the government would continue to spend more money this year than last year in spite of the sequester cuts.

“I’ve said the same things over and over for 25 years,” Limbaugh said, adding that it didn’t matter who was in power. “It’s the same stuff, it’s the same threats, it’s the same arguments, over and over nothing ever changes.”

“We just keep spending more money, we create more dependency, we get more and more irresponsible one crisis to the next, all of them manufactured,” Limbaugh added. “Except for the real crisis that nobody ever addresses

and that is we can’t afford it.”

Maybe it is because Barack Obama and his handlers  hardly want the images of a 1% president playing golf and living the life of Riley while 12 million individuals are unemployed, a $16 trillion debt, gas prices at record highs, record number of Americans on food stamps and a jobs market that continues to flounder. All this while President Emperor Obama golfs plays the fiddle. The Politico reports that W.H. press corps expressed ’Extreme frustration’ over ‘having absolutely no access’ to Obama. However, one would ask of the W.H. press corps that when you do have access, why don’t you actually ask tough questions and hold this president and his failed polices to the fire rather than the softball questions and acting as his propaganda machine?

Shhh, don’t tell anyone that I am really more of an elitist 1% than Mitt Romney ever was …

Isn’t it amazing that the only time that Barack Obama took time off from golfing was to run for reelection. Says a lot about the individual on this President’s Day, doesn’t it? Where are the MSM outlets reporting that story? It is quite amazing that Obama does nothing but divide Americans with class warfare is actually part of the very people he wants those who vote for him to hate.

“Speaking on behalf of the White House Correspondents Association, I can say a broad cross section of our members from print, radio, online and TV have today expressed extreme frustration to me about having absolutely no access to the President of the United States this entire weekend,” Henry said in a statement, relayed in a White House pool report. “There is a very simple but important principle we will continue to fight for today and in the days ahead: transparency.”

EXIT QUESTION: For the 99%, how many of you would be going mental if Mitt Romney had been taking yet another vacation on the tax payers dime with all of the dismal economic conditions presently going on in America? This morning on FOX News Sunday, former Democrat Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi told Chris Wallace “it was almost a false argument to say the US has a spending problem.” That is correct, San Fran Nan actually said that the US did not have a spending problem. She not only said it once, she said it twice. Yea, no spending problem, that’s why the federal deficit has been over a trillion dollars every year since Obama has been in office. Could some one explain to me how these people are elected?

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) on Sunday called sequestration “a bad idea all around” and urged a balance of spending cuts and closed tax loopholes to avoid it.

Pelosi rebuffed GOP calls for the sequester replacement to focus exclusively on targeting more spending cuts and entitlement reforms.

“It is almost a false argument to say we have a spending problem. We have a budget deficit problem that we have to address,” she told Fox News’s Chris Wallace on Sunday.

Pelosi added that the deficit and debt are at “immoral levels” and “must be reduced.”

“It isn’t as much a spending problem as much as it is priorities,” she said, arguing that tax subsidies were a better target than additional cuts that could hit programs such as education.

A recent FOX News poll indicated that 83% of Americans think that the federal government has a spending problem. Um, how did Obama win reelection again?  How does Pelosi come up with such an idiotic statement and actually keep a straight face? Could the Botox have finally got to her brain, the Lonely Conservative seems to think so and with all that plastic surgery, it’s rather easy to keep a straight face. BTW House Minority Leader Pelosi, with all the money that we have spent on education, it has failed our children.

Obama White House Releases Letters from Little Kids Pleading for Gun Control … Would they Do the Same About the Debt?

Mmm, mmm, mmm, Barack Hussein Obama … This is nothing more than moral blackmail.

The “Exploiter” in Chief’s White House has released a letter from children pleading for gun control. Really Mr. President, is this the length of your grasp of the issue? You use children’s words because it plays into your anti-2nd Amendment, “imperial” president agenda? Just curious, would Obama release letters from children that criticize him for his deficit spending and year after year $1 trillion spending that has inflated the national debt to over $16 trillion? The debt is going to affect all future children, grand children and great grand children as opposed to the few who would ever be exposed to assault weapons. What about the lack of any job growth plan that has caused children’s parents to be continually on unemployment and food stamps?  So I ask you America, who is more dangerous to our children, assault weapons or Barack Obama’s socialist, big government out of control spending agenda?

The White House today released letters from little kids pleading for gun control, just hours before President Obama is to release a comprehensive proposal to limit guns and ammunition. The letters were released to the Associated Press in what appears to be a coordinated effort to help shape the narrative the day of Obama’s announcement.

“Three days after six teachers and 20 students were killed by a rampaging gunman at their elementary school in Newtown, Conn., an 8-year-old from Maryland pulled out a sheet of paper and asked President Barack Obama for ‘some changes in the laws with guns,’” the AP reports.

“It’s a free country but I recommend there needs (to) be a limit with guns,” Grant wrote in a letter dated Dec. 17. “Please don’t let people own machine guns or other powerful guns like that.”

In the days after the shooting, children around the country had the same idea as Grant. They put their feelings about the massacre on paper and sent those letters to a receptive White House.

“I am writing to ask you to STOP gun violence,” wrote Tajeah, a 10-year-old from Georgia. “I am very sad about the children who lost their lives. So, I thought I would write to you to STOP gun violence.”

Maybe the Children who wrote to the president and are going to stand behind Obama when he puts forth his 19 executive orders today might want to learn the way in which a law is actually passed. As stated above, what if the children wrote Obama criticising Obamacare or Obama’s out of control debt? What if the children of America spoke out against Obama’s big government socialism and tax and spend policies? Any chance they would be released to the public?

President Barack Obama Says “US Is Not Deadbeat Nation” …Misses Deadline for Sending Budget to Congress after Continued $1 Trillion Deficit Spending

THE LION LYING KING: President Barack Obama is once again playing divisive, misrepresentative, fear, blame games … says “US is not a Deadbeat Nation”.

No, we are not a deadbeat nation, we have a deadbeat President in office. Barack Obama is claiming that the US will default on their debt if the debt ceiling is not raised. YOU LIE. We will not default, all that will occur is that new spending will be halted. Something that needs to happen. What a joke this president is. Just after he says that the US is not a deadbeat nation, Obama missed the deadline to sending a budget to Congress. Who is the deadbeat, Mr. President? To date, Obama has yet to have any budget passed by Congress. When Obama was Senator Obama in 2006. he stated that raising the debt limit was “a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills”. So what’s the difference now, oh, he is now president. Sorry America, but Barack Obama’s presidential spending spree is the definition of a deadbeat. Obama is not saying that by extending the debt limit, he is paying for current debt. He is doing this to tack more wasteful spending on to a credit card that he never intends to pay back. That my friend is the definition of a deadbeat.

The “Deadbeat” President

1. In 2006, Obama said that raising the debt limit was “a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies”.

Now failing to raise the debt limit and not pay the bills using financial assistance from foreign governments to finance his reckless fiscal policies is a sign that America can’t pay its own bills. By which he means his bills.

2. When you run up this high a debt, then you are a deadbeat. Turning the national numbers into a family income, Obama’s spending spree is the equivalent of a family with a $21,700 annual income running up $16,500 in new debt to be added to $142,710 in existing credit card debt.

If that’s not the definition of a deadbeat, I don’t know what is.

3. It’s not America’s debt. It’s America’s debt the way that it’s your debt when the bellboy runs up illegal charges on your credit card. And here the bellboy is accusing the hotel of being deadbeats unless they let him run up a lot more charges on the country’s credit card.

4.  Obama isn’t proposing that America pay the bills, but that it borrow even more money that he doesn’t intend to pay back either.

Remember when Obama said that adding $4 trillion in debt was unpatriotic … Why is it different for Obama’s nearly $6 trillion? 

 Why is it different for Obama and why is the MSM not holding his feat to the fire and pointing out the obvious double talk? Obama is the most divisive and misrepresentative president we have ever had and when you call him on it, one is branded a racists. Some one best call him out and stop his destruction of the United States before its too late and we do not have a country to save. Seriously America, how simple is this for you to understand? If all a credit card company did was increase your limit whenever you went over, you would never get serious and pay down your debt, you would just keep spending until the next increase. Unemployment Ticks up to 7.8%, a Meager 155K Jobs Created, Debt at $16.4 Trillion and Obama is on Vacation

The Obama jobs recovery still pathetic … only 155,000 jobs created in December 2012 and the unemployment rate ticked up to 7.8%. Get used to it America, this is what you wanted and this is what you are going to get. The reelection of Barack Obama will mean more of the same, a lackluster economy and a $16.4 trillion debt and getting higher every second. We have more people on unemployment longer than ever before. Its almost like being on unemployment is an Obama job. We have more people on food stamps and disabilities than ever before. Jobs be damned. This is what you voted for, more of the same. Don’t worry America, your president is hard at work fixing the problem. NOT! Actually he flew off to Hawaii again for yet another vacation but not after raising taxes.

U.S. employers added 155,000 jobs in December, a steady gain that shows hiring held up during tense fiscal cliff negotiations in Washington.

The solid job growth wasn’t enough to push down the unemployment rate, which stayed 7.8 percent last month, according to the Labor Department’s report Friday. November’s rate was revised higher from an initially reported 7.7 percent.

Stock futures rose modestly after the report was released.

Robust hiring in manufacturing and construction fueled the December gains. Construction firms added 30,000 jobs, the most in 15 months. That likely reflects additional hiring needed to rebuild after Superstorm Sandy and also solid gains in home building that have contributed to a housing recovery.

Manufacturers gained 25,000, the most in nine months.

Even with the gains, hiring is far from accelerating. Employers added an average of 153,000 jobs a month last year, matching the monthly average in 2011. Employers added 1.84 million jobs in 2012, the same as the previous year.

Protecting the Middle Class? US Senate Bill Will Increase Taxes on 77% of US Households

Who is to blame for this America, Republican politicians, Democrats, Independents? No … you are America, you were foolish enough to reelect Obama and create a czar.

The fiscal cliff bill was supposed to save the middle class from tax hikes and was supposed to only punish the so-called rich. At least that is what was said by Obama and Democrats. Since when has Obama ever told America the truth? As reported at Bloomberg, the bill that passed the US Senate today will increase taxes on 77.1% of American households.

The budget deal passed by the U.S. Senate today would raise taxes on 77.1 percent of U.S. households, mostly because of the expiration of a payroll tax cut, according to preliminary estimates from the nonpartisan Tax Policy Center in Washington.

More than 80 percent of households with incomes between $50,000 and $200,000 would pay higher taxes. Among the households facing higher taxes, the average increase would be $1,635, the policy center said. A 2 percent payroll tax cut, enacted during the economic slowdown, is being allowed to expire as of yesterday.

The heaviest new burdens in 2013, compared with 2012, would fall on top earners, who would face higher rates on income, capital gains, dividends and estates. The top 1 percent of taxpayers, or those with incomes over $506,210, would pay an average of $73,633 more in taxes.

Much of that burden is concentrated at the very top of the income scale.

The top 0.1 percent of taxpayers, those with incomes over about $2.7 million, would pay an average of $443,910 more, reducing their after-tax incomes by 8.4 percent. They would pay 26 percent of the additional taxes imposed by the legislation.

Among households with incomes between $500,000 and $1 million, taxes would go up by an average of $14,812.

What a Joke … Senate Fiscal Cliff Deal Will Add $4 Trillion to National Deficit

Another Obamaination … Wasn’t the point of passing a bill to save us from the fiscal cliff supposed to lower federal deficits and the national debt? 

As reported at The Hill, the US Senate deal to avoid the “fiscal cliff” will add roughly $4 trillion to the deficit when compared to current law, according to new numbers from the Congressional Budget Office (CBO). What a complete an utter joke. The CBO says the Senate budget agreement will lead to an overall increase in spending of about $330 billion over 10 years. How does this save us from the fiscal cliff? This is what happens when you add a tax on the so-called rich as some means of fixing the problem, when it was nothing more than a lie from Obama and Democrats. Spending cuts need to be made and changes in SS, Medicare/Medicaid and other entitlement programs..

The CBO determined Tuesday that the package, hammered out late Monday evening by Vice President Biden and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) would — over the next decade — come with a $3.9 trillion price tag.

The agreement, which is pending before the House after passing in a 89-8 Senate vote early Tuesday, would extend lower tax rates on annual household income under $450,000 and postpone automatic spending cuts for two months.

The extension of lower tax rates for a bulk of the nation’s taxpayers and the addition of a permanent patch to the alternative minimum tax would add roughly $3.6 trillion to the deficit over the next decade, the CBO said. Other individual, business, and energy tax extenders would add another $76 billion.

Any Republican who votes for this needs to be primary challenged in 2014. This is all just a bad joke and you made it happen America last November by reelection Barack Obama. I hope you are proud of yourselves.
