Barack Obama Budget Defeated 414 – 0 … Yet Another Obama Victory, Maybe He Will Have More “Flexibility” After the Election?

President Barack Obama’s budget goes down in flames and is defeated 414-0. Talk about your bi-partisan votes. Not one Democrat voted for Obama’s budget. As stated by Jammie Wearing Fool, obviously all 414 individuals are racist.

The vote came as the House worked its way through its own fiscal year 2013 budget proposal, written by Budget Committee Chairman Paul D. Ryan. Republicans wrote an amendment that contained Mr. Obama’s budget and offered it on the floor, daring Democrats to back the plan, which calls for major tax increases and yet still adds trillions of dollars to the deficit over the next decade.

“It’s not a charade. It’s not a gimmick — unless what the president sent us is the same,” said Rep. Mick Mulvaney, a freshman Republican from South Carolina who sponsored Mr. Obama’s proposal for purposes of the debate. “I would encourage the Democrats to embrace this landmark Democrat document and support it. Personally, I will be voting against it.”

But no Democrats accepted the challenge.

Wow, this heading into an election and not one Democrat voted for Obama’s budget. Can you say the rats are fleeing the ship? The Democrats are in a pickle. No one is going to want to get near Obama’s coattails whether it has to do with the economy, jobs, the budget, national debt, gas prices or Obamacare.

Even RINO’s are Dissatisfied with Obama … Senator Olympia Snowe (ME-R) Gives Obama an ‘F’

A note to President Barack Obama, when RINO Senator from Maine Olympia Snowe Gives Obama an ‘F’, you have a real problem … Snowe said that if she had to grade the President on his willingness to work with Republicans, he would “be close to failing on that point.” Close Olympia? No, I think it is safe to say that he is failing. With a continued failing economy, poor job growth, record number of people on food stamps, unemployment above 8%, gas prices at near record highs and a record federal debt, it is safe to say Obama has been a failure.

If there were ever a Republican for President Obama to work with, it was Maine Senator Olympia Snowe. She was one of just three Republicans in the entire Congress to vote for his economic stimulus plan in 2009 and even tried to work with him on health care, but in an interview with ABC’s Senior Political Correspondent Jonathan Karl, Snowe makes a remarkable revelation:  She hasn’t had a face-to-face meeting with President Obama in nearly two years.

Snowe said that if she had to grade the President on his willingness to work with Republicans, he would “be close to failing on that point.”  In fact, Snowe, who was first elected to Congress in 1978, claims that her meetings with President Obama have been less frequent than with any other President.

Snowe stated that there is no leadership and it is no longer about policy, it is only about politics and reelection in Washington, DC these days. Olympia Snowe earlier this year announced that she will not be seeking reelection in 2012.

Although I have to take exception with Snowe’s that she believes that she is a traditional Republican …  “I represent what I think is a traditional Republican… a limited government, fiscal responsibility, strong national defense, individual freedom and liberty.” How could a Republican who believes in these ideals embrace or even discuss any of Obama’s  big government, globalism and loss of liberty positions?

Team Obama Struggles To Find New Campaign Slogan To Replace “Hope And Change” … What Running on His Failed Record Does Not Work?

TEAM OBAMA LOOKS FOR NEW SLOGAN TO BS AMERICA …

Barack Obama and his Reelection Team look to come up with a new slogan to replace “Hope & Change” for the 2012 Presidential election. So far they are without any ideas. I guess being honest with the American people and running on his failed 1st term policies and agenda is out of the question. Imagine that, Obama does not want to actually run on his record, he would rather contrive of slogan.

Winning The Future. Greater Together. We Don’t Quit.

They may not be official but those are all phrases that could in one form or another be candidates to become President Barack Obama’s re-election slogan.

Advisers say a fresh slogan to replace the winning “Change we can believe in” mantra of 2008, is unlikely to appear before Obama knows who his Republican opponent will be and starts big campaign travel swings, likely in the spring or summer.

His campaign posters now say simply, “Obama 2012.”

But Obama’s surrogates have roadtested some slogans in recent months, including “Winning The Future,” which the White House used to promote its budget, and “Greater Together,” which the campaign has used to brand its youth outreach effort.

Hey Team Obama, what about the slogan … How’s that “Hopey-Changey” stuff working out for you? Here are some suggestions for Team Obama:

  • 4 More Obama Years … You can hope to have some change in your pocket
  • Class Warfare … How Else Do You Think I Can Win
  • It’s Still Bush’s Fault
  • Barack Obama … You Thought Obamacare was Something … Wait Until a Second Term
  • Obama 2012: I Have Not Yet Began To Increase to National Debt
  • Barack & Michelle: Of Course We are the 1% … Shut Up and Do as We Say
  • Obama 2012: Socialism and You, Perfect Together

Provide your own slogans for Barack’s 2012 Presidential run.

Obama’s Chief of Staff Jack Lew Lied on CNN in Misleading Comments about Blaming Republicans fior the Democrat Controlled Senate’s Failure to Pass a Budget Resolution

YOU LIE!!!  Now you know what Barack Obama’s strategy will be for reelection … he and his minions are going to lie through their teeth.

Obama and the MSM, perfect together. White House Chief of Staff Jack Lew, stated on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Feb. 12. 2012 that the GOP Senate was to blame for no budget being passed in the Senate and it would never get 60 votes. One would think that  Jack Lew who was the recent budget director for President Obama and also the budget director for former President Bill Clinton would be an expert on the budget and rules. So with all that experience one can only surmise that he flat out lied and tried to mislead the American people on CNN …

But we also need to be honest. You can’t pass a budget in the Senate of the United States without 60 votes and you can’t get 60 votes without bipartisan support. So unless Republicans are willing to work with Democrats in the Senate, Harry Reid is not going to be able to get a budget passed. And I think he was reflecting the reality of that that could be a challenge.”

There is just one problem with Jack Lew’s comments. They are 100% false.60 votes are not needed in a budget reconciliation. They actually only require 51 votes or a simple majority. However, the WH did not dispute Lew’s misrepresentations but instead stated that he was only referencing the gridlock. REALLY? Last time I checked the Democrats held the Senate. You mean that Obama and Reid can’t get 51 votes in a Democrat controlled US Senate? Maybe Obama needs to look at his own party first when it comes to obstruction.

But the congressional budget resolution can be important because of a process known as reconciliation. If language is included in the budget resolution that directs a Congressional committee to meet certain spending or tax targets, then the resulting bill cannot be subject to filibuster (ie, needing 60 votes to end debate) and can pass with only a majority vote. (For more information on the budget process, see this excellent primer by the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities.)

Tennessee College Republicans from the Obama Generation to “The Debt Generation” … Welcome to Obama’s Generational Theft

Obama’s reelection bid is no longer and promises of “hope & change,” its about running on his record …

Barack Obama has pretty much disillusions ed every one that voted for him in 2008, no voting block more than the college age youth.  They have gone from the Obama generation in 2008 to the “DEBT GENERATION”. Watch the video below from the Tennessee College Republicans, aptly titled, ” The Debt Generation”. Check out the Debt Clock.

The Debt Generation

Hat Tip: Gateway Pundit

In 2008 more than 2/3 of America’s youth voted for Barack Obama; however, little did the naive college kids know that Barack Obama would hang them out to dry and create an out of control debt of political gifts that they would be responsible for. Many of them now regret that they ever voted for Obama. The One handed out gifts like Santa Claus; however, Santa does not charge you for the gifts he gives, Obama does. Fewer young voters see themselves as Democrats and unlike 2008, the Obama magic is gone. The bloom is off the rose and Obama is not perceived as “Hope & Change” but instead the same old, same old of an establishment politician.

Welcome to the “generational” theft of Barack Obama. The result, Obama has lost the luvin’ feeling of America’s youth.

UPDATE I: A blast from the past from Vanderbilt from 2009 … And the Obama gang thought we would just forget.
