According to a new Harvard IOP poll, among the 18- 29- year olds currently without health insurance, less than 1/3 say they’re likely to enroll in the exchange. 13% say they will definitely enroll, 16% say they will probably enroll; 41% say they are 50-50 at the moment.

The trend is daunting for the White House but not necessarily surprising,” said Pew Research Center Director Michael Dimock.
“Younger folks are part of Obama’s base … but the rollout confirmed concerns that were already in their minds.”
A poll released Wednesday by Harvard University’s Institute of Politics found that more than half of 18- to 29-year-olds disapprove of ObamaCare and believe it will raise their healthcare costs.
Even more troubling for the administration is that less than one-third of uninsured young people said they plan to enroll in coverage.
Without a large number of young, healthy people in the insurance exchanges, it could create a “death spiral” of high premiums that could threaten the long-term viability of the marketplaces.
The White House appears to recognize the growing threat, and is making outreach to younger people a major focus of its ObamaCare relaunch.
The president began the effort on Wednesday with a youth summit at the White House where he urged audience members to spread the word about the new healthcare exchanges — and think hard about their own health risks.

This Sunday on CNN’s State of the Union with Candy Crowley, Senator Diane Feinstein (D-CA), chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee and Rep. Mike Rogers (R-MI), chair of the House Intelligence Committee, were in complete bipartisan agreement that the United States is less safe from terrorism today than it has been in recent years. Remember when Barack Obama ran on the reelection sound byte that “Al-Qaeda was on the run and on the path to defeat”. Hmm, too bad this president is all about campaigning to win an election and not about leading to defend America against its enemies.
Americans shouldn’t feel safer today than they did before the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, the leaders of the Senate and House intelligence committees said Sunday.
The country now faces a larger number of threats from splintered terrorist groups and more complex weapons than when the U.S. began combat operations in Afghanistan in 2001, the lawmakers said on CNN’s State of the Union. At the same time, the nation’s spy programs–which can help foil terrorist plots–are under heavy scrutiny that could ultimately lessen their effectiveness.
“The threat is higher today and we’re probably less safe,” Rep. Mike Rogers (R., Mich.), chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, said.
His counterpart in the Senate agreed.
“I think terror is up world-wide,” said Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D., Calif.). “There are new bombs, very big bombs…and more groups than ever.”
Sen. Feinstein said advanced weapons make it easier to bring a bomb onto an airplane and make it harder to track possible threats.

CROWLEY: The big question that’s always asked, are we safer now than we were a year ago, two years ago? In general?
FEINSTEIN: I don’t think so. I think terror is up worldwide, the statistics indicate that, the fatalities are way up. The numbers are way up. There are new bombs, very big bombs, trucks being reinforced for those bombs. There are bombs that go through magnatometers. The bomb maker is still alive. There are more groups that ever and there’s huge malevolence out there.
CROWLEY: So congressman, I have to say, that is not the answer I expected. I expected to hear, oh, we’re safer. Do you agree?
ROGERS: Oh, I absolutely agree that we’re not safer today for the same very reasons.
So the pressure on our intelligence services to get it right to prevent an attack are enormous. And it’s getting more difficult because we see the al Qaeda as we knew it before is metastasizing to something different, more affiliates than we’ve ever had before, meaning more groups that operated independently of al Qaeda have now joined al Qaeda around the world, all of them have at least some aspiration to commit an act of violence in the United States or against western targets all around the world.
They’ve now switched to this notion that maybe smaller events are okay. So if you have more smaller events than bigger events, they think that might still lead to their objectives and their goals. That makes it exponentially harder for our intelligence services to stop an event like that.
CROWLEY: Because essentially one person can do a small event.
ROGERS: Absolutely.
CROWLEY: So, one of the things that the senator said was that there is more hatred out there, more – and why is that? (read more HERE)

CNN Poll: President Obama Down to 41% Job Approval & a Mere 40% Say President Can Manage the Government Effectively

According to the most recent CNN poll, Barack Obama’s approval rating is down to 41%, while 57% disapprove. This is an astonishing -16% mark for Obama in a CNN poll. But the terrible polling and Americans anger for Obama does not end there. The poll stated that only 40% think that Obama can manage the government effectively. OUCH, down 12% from June. But I would ask the question, what ever made Americans think that a community agitator with no management experience could manage the US government? Obama’s polling troubles don’t end there … 56% say he is not a person they admire, and 56% also say he does not agree with them on important issues. And wait, there is more, 56% say he does not inspire confidence, and 53% don’t view him as a strong and decisive leader. Other than that, things are going swimmingly for the President,[sarcasm intended].
Only four out of 10 Americans believe President Barack Obama can manage the federal government effectively, according to a new national poll.
And a CNN/ORC International survey released Monday morning also indicates that 53% of Americans now believe that Obama is not honest and trustworthy, the first time that a clear majority in CNN polling has felt that way.
According to the survey, conducted last Monday through Wednesday, 40% say the President can manage the government effectively. That 40% figure is down 12 percentage points from June and is the worst score Obama received among the nine personal characteristics tested in the new poll.
“A lot of attention has focused on the President’s numbers on honesty in new polling the past three weeks, but it looks like the recent controversy over Obamacare has had a bigger impact on his status as an effective manager of the government, and that may be what is really driving the drop in Obama’s approval rating this fall,” CNN Polling Director Keating Holland said.

Deal Reached Between Iran & Six World Powers (US, Britain, Russia, China, France and German) Over Tehran’s Nuclear Program … Obama Claims It Will Put “Substantial Limitations” to Prevent Iran From Creating a Nuclear Weapon (Israel PM Calls Deal a ‘Historic Mistake’
OH DEAR GOD … From the President who gave us Obamacare and promised Americans that if they liked their insurance and doctors, they could keep them, PERIOD! comes the following promised deal.
The WAPO is reporting that an agreement was reached over night between Iran and six world powers, the United States, Britain, Russia, China, France and German, that will freeze key parts of Iran’s nuclear program in exchange for temporary relief on some economic sanctions. What does this mean? For the next six months Iran is supposedly going to freeze or reverse progress at all of it’s major nuclear facilities and is supposed to halt the installation of new centrifuges used to enrich uranium and caps the amount and type of enriched uranium that Iran is allowed to produce. For this Iran will some relief of trade sanctions and access to some of its frozen currency accounts overseas, concessions said to be valued at less than $7 billion over the six month term of the deal.
Iran and six major powers agreed early Sunday on a historic deal that freezes key parts of Iran’s nuclear program in exchange for temporary relief on some economic sanctions.
The agreement, sealed at a 3 a.m. signing ceremony in Geneva’s Palace of Nations, requires Iran to halt or scale back parts of its nuclear infrastructure, the first such pause in more than a decade.
Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif hailed the deal, which was reached after four days of hard bargaining, including an eleventh-hour intervention by Secretary of State John F. Kerry and foreign ministers from Europe, Russia and China.
“It is important that we all of us see the opportunity to end an unnecessary crisis and open new horizons based on respect, based on the rights of the Iranian people and removing any doubts about the exclusively peaceful nature of Iran’s nuclear program,” Zarif told reporters in English. “This is a process of attempting to restore confidence.”
Hmm, and we are supposed to trust Iran why exactly? Well at this point very few Americans trust the Obama administration. As anyone knows, an agreement is only as good as those signing it. The fact that Iran has never kept its word means nothing to Neville Chamberlain Barack Obama.
Just mere hours after the nuclear deal was reached, the Associated Press reported that Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani said the deal recognizes Tehran’s “rights” to maintain an atomic program.
As part of the deal, according to Zarif, Iran retains the right to nuclear technology, including the enriching of uranium under the terms of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons — which requires it not to create nuclear weapons or enable other countries to obtain them.
Iran has agreed to what U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry described as “unprecedented international monitoring” of its nuclear program.

Are you kidding me. This would be a kin to the Russian village of Oymyakon, that has the coldest recorded temperatures of any permanently inhabited location should have access to peaceful air conditioning. Exactly how could one be this clueless and trusting, unless you are Charlie Brown thinking that this is the one time Lucy will not pull the ball away before you kick it? In the very sentence that Obama claims Iran should have access to nuclear energy, he comments they have a record of violating its obligations. Um, and it is going to be different this time, how exactly?

The NRO opines, that this is a “Foreign-Policy Disaster”. Yeah, how did that piece of paper signed by Adolph Hitler and peace in our time work for Britain and Europe?
This wretched deal offers one of those rare occasions when comparison with Neville Chamberlain in Munich in 1938 is valid. An overeager Western government, blind to the evil cunning of the regime it so much wants to work with, appeases it with concessions that will come back to haunt it. Geneva and Nov. 24 will be remembered along with Munich and Sep. 29.
Barack Obama has made many foreign-policy errors in the past five years, but this is the first to rank as a disaster. Along with the health-care law, it is one of his worst-ever steps. John Kerry is a too-eager puppy looking for a deal at any price.
With the U.S. government forfeiting its leadership role, the Israelis, Saudis, and perhaps others are left to cope with a bad situation made worse.
UPDATE I: Iran’s new president, Hassan Rouhani, said in a statement broadcast live on television Sunday morning: “Trust is, of course, a two-way street, and we must also find this trust in others. The first step in creating that trust has been taken.” But then again, who has proved they cannot be trusted?
One of the achievements of Sunday’s agreement, according to Rouhani, is that “the sanctions will be broken. The cracks in the sanctions started began last night, and in future those gaps will be grow.”
Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who has long doubted the sincerity of Western leaders, expressed guarded approval of the agreement.
Responding to a letter from Rouhani, Khamenei thanked the efforts of Iran’s negotiating team, led by foreign minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, but asked them to continue their vigilance in dealing with old enemies.
“God willing, standing against the arrogant powers is and will be the main criteria on the path forward for those in charge of this issue,” Khamenei wrote.
UPDATE II: Israeli Leader Calls Iran Deal ‘Historic Mistake’ … I think they would know better than John Kerry or Barack Obama seeing that it is Israel that is in the cross-hairs of Iran.
Because why would the Obama administration not get the OK from its greatest ally in the Middle East and the target of Iran’s offensive nuclear capability? PM Netanyahu said, ”What was reached last night in Geneva is not a historic agreement, it is a historic mistake. Today the world became a much more dangerous place because the most dangerous regime in the world made a significant step in obtaining the most dangerous weapons in the world.”
Israel’s prime minister harshly condemned the international community’s nuclear deal with Iran on Sunday, calling it a “historic mistake” and saying he was not bound by the agreement.
Speaking to his Cabinet, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the world had become a “more dangerous place” as a result of the deal and reiterated a long-standing threat to use military action against Iran if needed, declaring that Israel “has the right and the duty to defend itself by itself.”
Israel believes Iran is trying to develop a nuclear weapon, and in the weeks leading up to Sunday’s agreement, Netanyahu had warned the emerging deal was insufficient.
He had called for increased pressure on Iran, and warned that any relief from economic sanctions would make Iran less willing to compromise during a coming, six-month period aimed at reaching a final agreement.
Netanyahu told his Cabinet that Sunday’s deal gave Iran much-needed relief from the sanctions, but left most of Iran’s nuclear infrastructure intact. In particular, he cited Iran’s continued ability to enrich uranium, a key step in making a nuclear bomb.
President Obama Leaves Out An Important Word In His Reading Of The Gettysburg Address … “Under God”
Why should anyone be surprised at anything he does anymore?
As if it was not bad enough that President Barack Obama did not attend the 150th anniversary of the Gettysburg Address, even though Obama claims that Lincoln is one of his heroes. A snub was not enough for this president, in a he managed to leave the word “under God” out of his reading of Lincoln’s great speech. From NRO, in a recorded recitation uploaded to YouTube on November 9, President Obama read the address in its entirety. However, when it came to the line “that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom,” the President left out the words “under God.” Of course he did. Because this is what community agitators do, cause division, chaos and turmoil at every turn.
One nation under God? Under President Obama, maybe not so much.
As first reported on WMAL’s Chris Plante Show Tuesday, the Commander-in-Chief joined a cast of 61 other noted lawmakers, politicians, news anchors and celebrities, including every living President, in reciting the Gettysburg Address, which President Abraham Lincoln delivered on November 19, 1863.
The dignitaries all delivered the address as Lincoln had written it, including the phrase, “that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom.” (Click to listen). Curiously, however, in his version of the address, President Obama omitted the words “under God.”

But of course this was probably the first time Barack Obama was made aware that “under God” was actually in the Gettysburg Address. And it makes no matter as he was too busy fixing the Obamacare website to have noticed. Oh, and it was Bush’s and the GOP’s fault.
The irony of it all is best pointed out by the Heritage Foundation. It is a stretch for a big government, socialist liberal like Barack Obama who believes in the ‘nanny state,” seems to not have a grasp of the US Constitution, the separation of powers and that Our Government is supposed to be of, by and for the People. However, under Obama, he thinks that the people work for the government. The final line of Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address is, “that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth”.
