Syndicated columnist and Fox News contributor gets it 100% completely right with regards to Barack Obama and how he is viewed by Russian President Vladimir Putin. Last night Bill O’Reilly and Charles Krauthammer showed just how weak the US position is against Putin because Barack Obama is a “community organizer” and “adolescent,” rather than a Commander in Chief.
“Putin looks at this guy and says I’m dealing with an adolescent, this is a community organizer, he doesn’t understand how the world works. What Putin did, a KGB agent and a thug, he pockets all the things Obama offers him for nothing, he walks away and then he struts the world stage knowing he has an adversary in the White House who will do nothing. And he has done nothing.”
Syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer on Tuesday blasted President Barack Obama’s handling of Russia, starting with his administration’s infamous “reset” towards the beginning of his presidency.
Krauthammer explained that the U.S. and Russia were not on the greatest terms after the Bush administration and some of America’s allies “froze” relations. However, the sanctions were implemented after Russia invaded Georgia in 2008.
“First thing Obama does when he comes into office — the reset means the reversal of all the freezes all the sanctions,” he told host Bill O’Reilly. “That was a freebie, [Putin] didn’t give up anything. That’s the first signal the Europeans are getting from this new president.”

As reported at The Weekly Standard, President Obama’s team met the other day to discuss the ongoing situation on Ukraine as Russia is invades the and Barack Obama was no where to be found. But don’t worry, Susan Rice, Obama’s National Security adviser, briefed him. Yes, the same Susan Rice. Former Democrat President Bill Clinton played the sax; however, it looks like Nero Obama is playing the violin.
A White House official emailed some reporters to say that President Obama’s team met today to discuss the ongoing situation on Ukraine. It appears President Obama did not attend.
According to Time magazine’s Zeke Miller, Obama skipped the meeting. “Obama did not attend the meeting, but WH official says he has been briefed by Susan Rice and his national security team,” says Miller.
But wait, on Friday after the Russians sent troops in Ukraine, Barack Obama completed his “Russian Speech”, he did find the time to declare an official ‘happy hour’ with Democratic Party. What is wrong with this guy? He finds the time to go on ‘The View’ and do NCAA Basketball bracketology, but foreign policy meetings as the Russians invade is off limits.

Fox News’ Bret Baier opened a segment of his show Friday night by flashing back to an October 2012 presidential debate where President Obama ridiculed Republican presidential nominee Romney about his concern over Russia’s “geo-political” threat.
“You said Russia. Not Al Qaida. You said Russia,” Obama said regarding biggest threats. “The 1980s are now calling to ask for their foreign policy back because…the cold war’s been over for 20 years.”
Mitt Romney’s intelligent, powerful and correct retort was as follows:
“Russia, I indicated, is a geopolitical foe … and I said in the same paragraph I said and Iran is the greatest national security threat we face. Russia does continue to battle us in the U.N. time and time again. I have clear eyes on this. I’m not going to wear rose-colored glasses when it comes to Russia or Mr. Putin …”
Is it any wonder why at this moment so many Americans wish that had a do-over of the 2012 presidential election and they would not vote for Barack Obama. He has been wrong and an epic failure on everything in be domestic and foreign policy. What else would you expect but snark from an individual who was completely unqualified to be president?

Really, Barack Obama, the so-called Commander in Chief sent 30,000 of America’s bravest and treasured resources into harms way in the Afghanistan surge and did not even believe in the mission? Robert Gates writes in “Duty: Memoirs of a Secretary at War,” the president was “skeptical if not outright convinced it would fail.”
Why would some one commit troops to a mission that one did not believe in? This is enormously troubling. Was it merely political?

In a new memoir, former defense secretary Robert Gates unleashes harsh judgments about President Obama’s leadership and his commitment to the Afghanistan war, writing that by early 2010 he had concluded the president “doesn’t believe in his own strategy, and doesn’t consider the war to be his. For him, it’s all about getting out.”
Leveling one of the more serious charges that a defense secretary could make against a commander in chief sending forces into combat, Gates asserts that Obama had more than doubts about the course he had charted in Afghanistan. The president was “skeptical if not outright convinced it would fail,” Gates writes in “Duty: Memoirs of a Secretary at War.”
Obama, after months of contentious discussion with Gates and other top advisers, deployed 30,000 more troops in a final push to stabilize Afghanistan before a phased withdrawal beginning in mid-2011. “I never doubted Obama’s support for the troops, only his support for their mission,” Gates writes.

At a March 3, 2011, National Security Council meeting, Gates writes, the president opened with a “blast.” Obama criticized the military for “popping off in the press” and said he would push back hard against any delay in beginning the withdrawal.
According to Gates, Obama concluded, “?‘If I believe I am being gamed . . .’ and left the sentence hanging there with the clear implication the consequences would be dire.”
Gates continues: “I was pretty upset myself. I thought implicitly accusing” Petraeus, and perhaps Mullen and Gates himself, “of gaming him in front of thirty people in the Situation Room was inappropriate, not to mention highly disrespectful of Petraeus. As I sat there, I thought: the president doesn’t trust his commander, can’t stand [Afghanistan President Hamid] Karzai, doesn’t believe in his own strategy, and doesn’t consider the war to be his. For him, it’s all about getting out.”
