Jon Stewart Mocks Obama’s New Ambassadors to Argentina and Hungary (Colleen Bell) … Then Shreds WH Spox Josh Earnest’s Lame Comments

Jon Stewart of The Daily Show has been on a roll lately ripping the Obama administration. Then again, he has had so much material. What is sad, all he is doing is repeating what happened.  Two new ambassadors, hand picked by Barack Obama, have been approved by the Senate. Their credentials you ask? None. America’s new ambassador to Argentina doesn’t even speak Spanish and the new ambassador to Hungary is a former soap opera producer, who has admitted not knowing what the US interests are in that region of the world. Because she did so well during the confirmation hearing.  But they certainly bundled campaign cash for Obama.

Yesterday, we showed you Press Secretary Josh Earnest’s lackluster response to being grilled on the matter by ABC’s Jon Karl. But just how confounding was that response? On Wednesday’s “Daily Show” with Jon Stewart, the host stopped everything to scream out his disapproval.

To recap, when Karl pushed on the pair’s credentials and how it seems their greatest skill is their ability to raise funds for Obama, Earnest responded, “Frankly, I was not part of this decision-making process.”

Stewart was dumbfounded.

“What?! You can’t do that!” he yelled. “That is the greatest thing I’ve ever seen the president’s press secretary do. His entire job — his only job — is built around trying not to go, ‘Hey, look, I just fu***ng work here.’ But that’s what he did! ‘Take it up with my supervisor! Earnest, out.’”

Barack Obama Says, “American People Will Want that “New Car Smell” with “Not Much Mileage” For the 2016 Presidential Campaign

In an ABC News interview  with  George Stephanopoulos, President Barack Obama made some rather peculiar comments with regards to Hillary Clinton. When asked about Hillary Clinton and her possible run for president in 2016, Obama said the following, “… she and a number of other possible Democrat candidates would be terrific presidents.” Obama then went on to say, “if she decides to run, I think she will be a formidable candidate. I think she will make a great president”. He did this while making a face, at the 1:04 mark. Then came the money line of the interview …

“I think the American people, you know, they’re going to want that new car smell. You know, they want to drive something off the lot that — that doesn’t have as much mileage as me.”

I believe that Obama made a back-handed slap at Hillary Clinton referencing a “new car smell” and one with “not much mileage”.  However, mainly I think he was referring to himself as being so unpopular by 2016 rolls around that no one will probably want him stumping for them, much like in 2014. If you think Obama was toxic in 2014, just wait until 2016. What was a direct slap to Hillary was when he was specifically asked about her, Obama said that a number of other possible Democrat candidates would be terrific presidents. Hardly a ringing endorsement.

CNN:

“I think the American people, you know, they’re going to want that new car smell,” Obama said in an interview that aired Sunday on ABC’s “This Week.” “You know, they want to drive something off the lot that — that doesn’t have as much mileage as me.”

“When you’ve been president for six years, you know, you’ve got some dings,” Obama said. “You know, they’re probably not going to be looking at me to campaign too much.”

“I think at the end of two years if — if they want me to do some selective things, I’ll be happy to do them, but I suspect that folks will be ready to see me go off to the next thing.”

“I am very interested in making sure that I’ve got a Democratic successor,” Obama said. “So I’m going to do everything I can, obviously, to make sure that whoever the nominee is, is successful.”

She hasn’t announced so I don’t want to jump the gun,” Obama said about former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, whom he said he speaks with regularly. “If she decides to run, I think she will be a formidable candidate and I think she’d be a great president.”

She’s not going to agree with me on everything,” the President continued. “And, you know, one of the benefits of running for president is you can stake out your own positions — and have a clean slate, a fresh start.”

UPDATE I: Obama Is Damaging Hillary’s Chances.

Which leads perfectly into the WSJ article of how Barack Obama is damaging and will damage Hillary Clinton’s presidential nominee chances. Hillary Clinton is linked directly to the Obama presidency and is hardly considered one with a “new car smell”. Just like in 2014, Obama may not have been on the ballot, but his policies were. The same will hold true in 2016. Turnabout is fair play. Obama ran against GWB, Democrats are going to have to distance themselves from Obama.

President Obama ’s high-risk immigration gamble may have severe consequences for Washington, the country and the Democratic Party, most of all Hillary Clinton .

Mrs. Clinton’s putative bid for the Democratic presidential nomination is already running into trouble. The national exit poll from the recently completed midterm elections showed her with less than a majority of voters (43%) saying she would make a good president. When pitted against an unnamed Republican candidate, Mrs. Clinton lost 40% to 34%.

Those grim numbers followed on a September WSJ/NBC poll showing a plunge in Mrs. Clinton’s favorability rating, to 43%, from 59% in 2009.

GRUBERGATE:The Liar in Chief President Obama Says Regarding Gruber’s Remarks, “No, We Did Not Mislead to Get Obamacare Passed”

GRUBERGATE … THE GREAT OBAMACARE HOAX, LIES, LIES AND MORE LIES.

Yesterday in Brisbain, Australia Barack Obama finally was asked the question, did you misled the American people with regards to Obamacare. Wouldn’t it have been amazing id he said, YES, you caught me. But, in typical Obama fashion, he denied the allegation and then went off on a tangent explaining away the accusation and never really providing any valid facts to support his denial. All you have done in your six years in office is mislead the American people. President Obama, you have already lied about you can keep your insurance plan and doctor, if you like them … why wouldn’t we think you lied about everything else to pass Obamacare?

Ed Henry – Fox News: At you Burma town hall a couple of days ago you tried to inspire young leaders by saying governments need to be held accountable and be responsive to the people. I wonder how you square that with your former adviser Jonathan Gruber claiming that you were not transparent about the health law, because in his words, ‘the American people, the voters, were stupid’ (VIDEO). Did you mislead Americans about the taxes, about keeping your plan, to get the bill passed?

Barack Obama: No. I did not. I just heard about this. I get well briefed before I come out here. The fact that some adviser, who never worked on our staff expressed an opinion, that I completely disagree with, in terms of the voters, is no reflection of the process that was run. We had a year long debate Ed. Go back and look at your stories. The one thing we cannot say is that we did not have a lengthy about health care in the United States of America. Or that it was not adequately covered. I would just advise every press outlet here to go back and pull up every clip, every story, and I think it is fair to say that there was not a provision in the health care law that was not extensively debated and fully transparent.

First, Obama just heard about this? You mean he can’t remember one of the many meetings with Jonathan Gruber in the White House? Good grief, Obama is using that tired response of he just learned about the issue from the news?  Where have we heard that before, maybe in the following VIDEO.

Second, Just curious, does it make an adviser less credible if he did not work directly on Obama’s staff? There are these people called consultants Barack. Who would actually believe that the architect of Obamacare, also the architect of Romneycare, would actually work directly for the President? This sounds an awful lot like the Cheers episode when Cliff was on Jeopardy answering the final Jeopardy question … “who are three people who have never been in my kitchen.”

Third, read the following quote from Obama, “The fact that some adviser, who never worked on our staff expressed an opinion, that I completely disagree with, in terms of the voters, …” All Obama disagrees with is Gruber’s remark that the American voters are stupid. Obama is not saying that he disagrees with the rest of the misleading comments.

Fourth, Barack Obama claimed that the health care debate was extensive, adequately covered and transparent. Hmm really? So why did Nancy Pelosi famously say, “We Have to Pass Our Bill So That You Can Find Out What Is In It.”

Fifth, President Obama, do you really want everyone going back and taking a look at every clip and news account? Look what happened so far by those on the right and bloggers.

Sixth, fully transparent? The Obamacare you can keep your plan if you like it was already awarded the 2013 Politifact lie of the Year. It would appear you are looking to win the award two years in a row. As Jonathan Gruber said, “Lack of transparency is a huge political advantage.”

Seventh, no asked the question whether Obamacare was extensively debated. However, what good is a debate when the premise is based on a lie that is being discussed?

On a completely different lie, check out the 2:20 mark of the Obama VIDEO where miraculously Obama comes up with all of these stats for the Healthcare.gov web site now that it is not crashing all the time. Remember last year when Obama minions were asked for the same type of data and we were told they did not have access to it.

Yeah Mr. President, Obamacare is working … that is why the majority of Americans have not even been affected by it because you delayed it.

TV Anchor Melissa Francis Reveals That She Was Silenced When She Questioned the “Math of Obamacare” On the Air at CNBC

MEDIA BIAS: THE LIBERAL MEDIA CARRYING THE WATER FROM BARACK OBAMA …

Melissa Francis, the current anchor of ‘Money with Melissa Francis’ on the Fox Business Channel revealed Friday that she was silenced when she was an anchor at CNBC by execs when she dared question the math of Obamacare. She was told that she was disrespecting the office of the presidency by having the audacity of pointing out the obvious to her viewers, that the math of Obamacare simply didn’t work, in that you couldn’t add millions of people to the system and force insurance companies to cover their pre-existing conditions without raising the price on everyone else. Scolded by management for questioning the government? Really, isn’t that their job and a reason why we have a Freedom of the Press?  This was a business show, how could any responsible individual not ask or point out such a simple premise? But not for the suits at CNBC, they might as well called her a racist as well. But when you are the liberal MSM, part of the Democrat/Obama media complex simply in place to be a propaganda vehicle, you must silence all opposition to liberal policy, especially when it is a lie.

Jonathon Gruber telling you that the architects of Obamacare think that you that you are stupid. And most importantly they are counting on your lack of economic understanding.     They are not the only villains in this story. They are also depending on the liberal media to cover up the truth.   So far NBC, ABC, the Los Angeles Times, the Associated Press, and others, have been only too happy to comply. Those outlets have not even mentioned the video evidence from Jonathan Gruber. It’s shocking, but it actually doesn’t surprise me because when I was at CNBC, I pointed out to my viewers that the math of Obamacare simply didn’t work. Not the politics by the way. But just the basic math. And when I did that, I was silenced.

The Blaze:

“It’s shocking, but it actually doesn’t surprise me because when I was at CNBC, I pointed out to my viewers that the math of Obamacare simply didn’t work. Not the politics by the way. But just the basic math. And when I did that, I was silenced,” Francis said.

“I said on the air that you couldn’t add millions of people to the system and force insurance companies to cover their pre-existing conditions without raising the price on everyone else,” she continued. “I pointed out that it couldn’t possibly be true that if you like your plan, you can keep it. That was a lie. And in fact, millions of people had their plans canceled.”

After making the comments, Francis said she was called into a meeting by management and told he was “disrespecting the office of the president.”

I think we now know that Melissa Francis was 100% correct.

Obamacare Architect Jonathan Gruber Brags About Lying to the American People … “Call It the Stupidity of the American People”

OBAMACARE FRAUD … FROM THE LIAR IN CHIEF:

Finally we get the creators of Obamacare to call it for what it really is, one big lie and fraud“Call it the stupidity of the American voter”. For those with any common sense have known from the outset that Obamacare was a sham and a fraud. But for many Americans, as Nancy Pelosi stated in the past, “we have to pass the bill to find out what is in it”. NO WE DIDN’T. Obama, his minions and Democrats purposely wrote this law with a lack of transparency to the American people so that it would pass. Wasn’t this Obama presidency supposed to be the most transparent ever? Yeah America, and I have a bridge to sell you is Brooklyn too.

“You can’t do it political, you just literally cannot do it. Transparent financing and also transparent spending. I mean, this bill was written in a tortured way to make sure CBO did not score the mandate as taxes. If CBO scored the mandate as taxes the bill dies. Okay? So it’s written to do that.  In terms of risk rated subsidies, if you had a law which said that healthy people are going to pay in, you made explicit healthy people pay in and sick people get money, it would not have passed. Lack of transparency is a huge political advantage. And basically, call it the stupidity of the American voter or whatever, but basically that was really really critical to get for the thing to pass. Look, I wish Mark was right that we could make it all transparent, but I’d rather have this law than not.”

Imagine that, it was a premeditated Obama lie when he said, “If You Like Your Health Care Plan, You Can Keep It”.

From Town Hall.com, brings up a few points …

  1. Notice how lying to the American people is completely justified by Obama administration standards so long as the ends justify the means. Gruber would “rather have this law than not,” and therefore purposely lying about what the law actually is in order to get it passed is completely acceptable. regardless of the negative effects it has on the lives of Americans.
  2. Lack of transparency might be a huge political advantage in the short term, but long term there are consequences from voters, which is exactly what we saw last week during the Democrat blood bath at every level of government across the country.
  3. Insulting Americans as stupid and deceiving them is a really good way to lose your power on Capitol Hill, which is again exactly what we saw last week in the 2014 midterms. Twenty-eight Senators who voted for Obamacare are now out of the Senate for one reason or another.
  4. Obamacare in its entirely was “sold” on lies. From the promise to keep your doctor to claims insurance rates would go down, not up — to hiding that the legislation was in fact a tax until of course it was necessary to argue it was a tax to save the legislation at the Supreme Court. Government bureaucrats promising an expansion of care knowing care under Obamacare would be limited, etc. Hell, even the official name for Obamacare, “The Affordable Care Act,” is a lie. Obamacare isn’t affordable.
  5. The process through which Obamacare was shoved through and down the throats of the American people happened as a result of Harry Reid changing Senate rules and without the support of voters. The legislation didn’t receive a single Republican vote in the House or the Senate. Also, remember this?
