Mitt Romney Nails Barack Obama Over Eye Popping, Socialist Video Tape … “He Wants Redistribution – I Disagree!”

Romney and Obama … Two Different Views of America.

GOP Presidential candidate goes on Fox News, ‘Your World with Neil Cavuto’ to defend and discuss the differences between himself and Barack Obama when it comes to the economy. Romney defended his “47%” comments and went after Barack Obama for his stunning admission from 1998, “I actually believe in redistribution”.

Romney’s vision of America is much different from Obama’s big government, cradle to grave nanny state where a majority of Americans are dependent and beholden to government. Romney said when questioned about Obama’s redistribution, ” I disagree … I believe the right course for America is one where government steps in to help those who are in need. We’re a compassionate people. But then we let people build their own lives”.

Partial transcript of Mitt Romney on Barack Obama from the Gateway Pundit:

“Frankly we have two very different views about America. The president’s view is one of a larger government. There’s a tape that just came out today where the president is saying he likes redistribution. I disagree. I think a society based upon a government-centered nation where government plays a larger and larger role, redistributes money, that’s the wrong course for America. That will not build a strong America or help people out of poverty. I believe the right course for America is one where government steps in to help those who are in need. We’re a compassionate people. But then we let people build their own lives… We believe in free people and free enterprises.”

In the end America, it is up to you. Do you want an America where you have the opportunity to succeed and fail or do you want to be a kept, obedient society, dependent and beholden to the federal government forever. The choice is yours. However, I hardly think this is why Our Founding Fathers fought a War of Independence to be dependent.

The Lonely Conservative brings up yet another example of Media bias. While the corrupt liberal media complex has no issue playing the Romney fund raising “47%” VIDEO, we hear crickets when it comes to Obama 1998 socialist “I like redistribution” video. Why are we not surprised? The shameful media is all in for Obama.

Joey Chestnut Still Top Dog as he Devours 68 Hot Dogs to Win 6th Consecutive Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest at Coney Island … NYC Mayor Bloomberg Wins Hypocrite of the Week Award

If its the 4th of July, it means the annual Nathan’s Hotdog Eating Contest from Coney Island, NY … it was gagtacular!

Once again Joey “Jaws” Chestnut was the victor in Jordonesque fashion as Chestnut won his 6th consecutive Nathans hotdog eating contest. Chestnut overwhelmed the competition and consumed 68 hotdogs and buns in 10 minutes. OMG, can you say Pepito-Bismal? Chestnut walked away once again with the mustard yellow belt winning by 14 hot dogs. Second place went to Tim Janus of New York with a distant 52 hot dogs scarfed down. Chestnut was proud of his accomplishment, although he stated he had wanted to break his record. Joey stated that next year he plans on going for 70. YIKES!!!

More than 40,000 spectators, some dressed as hot dogs, ketchup and mustard bottles, watched Chestnut out-eat his competition by almost 16 hot dogs to take home his sixth straight Nathan’s Famous International Hot Dog-Eating title on the U.S. Independence Day holiday.

“I came here hoping I could do 70 (hot dogs), but I am happy with 68. It is a world record after all and I will be back next year to see if I can go one better,” said the 28-year-old Chestnut from San Jose, California.

I wonder if Michelle Obama watched the nitrate devouring contest?

However, Chestnut might have been over-shadowed by the “golden H” belt and the hypocrite of the week award given hands down to New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg. The food “Nazi”  Mayor who has banned large sodas in NYC actually had the audacity to attend the weigh in of the 29 competitive eating contestants in Tuesday. Some how inhaling hotdogs is different than large sodas. The “hypocrite” Bloomberg actually tried to justify his hypocrisy by saying eating in moderation was the key.

Having it (a hot dog) occasionally is fine,” he said. “If you want to eat 65 hot dogs in 10 minutes, that’s even fine. Just don’t do it more than once a year and you won’t have a problem.”

Dude wanna bet? What part about COMPETITIVE EATING IS IN MODERATION!!! Bloomberg has to be either the biggest fool or the most uninformed individual ever. The no salt, no trans-fats, no large soda Mayor seemed to have no issue with hot dogs, even though some physicians have compared them to cigarettes. Bloomberg seems to have no issue with calorie overload.  Um, just curious Mr. Mayor … do you not understand that there is an IFOCE? That stands for Major League Eating & International Federation of Competitive Eating.  They eat more than just hot dogs and more than once a year you idiot, hypocrite, moderation Mayor. Personally, I could care less whether these folks gorge themselves and regular folks have a large soda. Then again, I am not a hypocrite like Mayor Bloomberg.

There was Mr. No Salt, No Transfats and Limited Soda reeling off pun after pun about a food reportedly so bad for you the Physicians’ Committee for Responsible Medicine put up a billboard last year comparing hot dogs to cigarettes.

At one point the mayor wondered if the reigning champs would win “or if one of their dogged pursuers will finally ‘ketchup,’ cut the mustard and be pronounced wiener. No question it’s going to be a dog fight.”

Good Grief, Fireworks Canceled in Oregen Town Not Because of Heat & Dry Conditions … Canceled Amid Concearns for Sea Birds, Brandt’s Cormorant

UNREAL … FIREWORKS CANCELED BECAUSE THEY ARE SCARING BIRDS.

Fireworks in the coastal town of Depoe Bay were canceled this year for the first time in 19 years since the town started the tradition in 1993. Were the fireworks canceled because of the dry conditions and fires like what has plagued Colorado? Nope. Were they canceled like many towns and cities in the mid-Atlantic states due to damage from recent extreme weather? Nope. The fireworks were actually canceled amid concerns for sea birds.

 The coastal town of Depoe Bay is about to experience its quietest July 3 in 19 years.

Town officials this year reluctantly announced they were cancelling the annual pre-Independence Day fireworks show, following pressure from federal wildlife managers who said the noise disrupts protected sea birds.

Business owners, dependent on the popular show for foot traffic, are not happy.

“It’s a great loss to our community,” said Peggy Leoni, co-owner of Trollers Lodge, a small motel in Depoe Bay.

Remember when individuals professed their love for America?

Please read and listen to the following commentary from Red Skelton. Its a message that many might want to take to heart. Hey Chris Rock, why don’t you watch the following VIDEO and the ‘Pledge of Allegiance’ from Red Skelton. Maybe your disrespectful punk a$$ will learn something about America. The last time I checks Chris Rock made a pretty good living having to suffer being in the United States. What a crying shame that so many who have prospered from the liberties and freedoms of the United States find it so easy to attack her.

The pledge …

“Boys and girls, I have been listening to you recite the Pledge of Allegiance all semester and it appears that it has become monotonous to you or could it be you do not know the meaning of those words. If I may, I would like to recite the Pledge and give to you a definition of the words.

I-—meaning me, an individual, a committee of one.
Pledge—-dedicate all of my worldly goods to give without self pity.
Allegiance-—my love and my devotion.
To the Flag—-our standard, Old Glory, a symbol of freedom. Wherever she waves, there is respect because your loyalty has given her a dignity that shouts freedom is everybody’s job.
Of the United—-that means that we have all come together.
States—-individual communities that have united into 48 great states. 48 individual communities with pride and dignity and purpose, all divided with imaginary boundaries, yet united to a common cause, and that’s love of country.
Of America.
And to the Republic-a republic, a state in which sovereign power is invested in representatives chosen by the people to govern. And government is the people and it’s from the people to the leaders, not from the leaders to the people.

Red Skelton finishes his pledge with the following wise comment that you know the Left and ACLU would love to accomplish:

Since I was a small boy, two states have been added to our nation, and two words have been added to the Pledge of Allegiance “under God.” Wouldn’t it be a pity if someone said, “That’s a prayer” and that would be eliminated from schools, too?
