New WSJ/NBC Poll has it a Tie Between Romney & Obama at 47% Among Likely Voters

ROMNEY NOW TIES WITH OBAMA IN WSJ/NBC POLL … TRENDING ROMNEY.

So much for Barack Obama getting any bounce from the second Presidential debate after many stated he had won. A new WSJ/NBC poll  has the race a tow between Mitt Romney and Barack Obama at 47% a piece. In fact, not only did Obama not get a bounce from the second debate, Romney surged into a tie with Obama. This is the first time in this poll that Romney has pulled even with the president. We do not yet know what the poll sampling was for the latest poll, we will update when data becomes available.

Heading into Monday’s final debate and with just over two weeks until Election Day, President Barack Obama and Republican nominee Mitt Romney are now tied nationally, according the latest NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll.

Obama and Romney both get 47 percent among likely voters in the latest edition of the poll, conducted entirely in the aftermath of the second presidential debate last Monday. In the last national NBC/WSJ poll, which was conducted before debate season began, the president held a narrow, three-point lead over his GOP challenger, 49 percent to 46 percent.

In the previous WSJ/NBC poll from 9/26-9/30, Obama was up +3 with a +6D sampling. Prior to that,  the WSJ/NBC poll for 9/12-9/16 Obama was up +5 with a +5D sampling. It is obvious that the polling trend is toward Romney.

Hot Air brings up the all important story from this latest poll. With an incumbent President just 16 days before an election polling only at 47% is terrible news for Team Obama. However, Obama is having serious issues with the gender gap for male and females as compared to his 2008 election victory.

Looking at some of the most important demographic groups, Romney leads among men (53 percent to 43 percent), Obama is up with women (51 percent to 43 percent) and they are essentially tied among voters in the Midwest.

However, as stated at Hot Air, it was a much different story when it came to the gender gap as Obama was +1 with men and +14with women.

In 2008, Obama won the election with a +14 gender gap over John McCain — +13 among women and +1 among men — on his way to a 7-point victory in the popular vote.  That advantage has now flipped to Romney, even in the Marist poll.  That’s a sixteen-point flip in the gap, and unless Obama expects a massive female turnout and massive male empathy on November 6th, it’s a very bad sign.

RCP has the race a tie as well; however, there are two skewed polls that should not even be considered and thrown out of the averaging. First,, the Hartford Courant/UCONN poll has Obama ahead by +3 has a sampling of +8D sampling. Second, the ABC/WAPO has Obama ahead by 3% with a poll sampling +9D. The IBD poll has to be questioned as well, Obama and Romney are basically tied with Democrats and Republicans; however, Romney is +10 with Independents. Yet some how Obama is ahead by 3%. How can that be except with a skewed over polling of Democrats?  Really folks, who honestly thinks this is valid? In other words, in the cases if the sampling was more in line to be realistic, Romney would be ahead in both polls. If these polls are discounted, as they should be, Romney would be ahead in the averaging of polls by 1.5%.

Lifetime Democrat & Former Chrysler chairman Lee Iacocca Endorses Republican Mitt Romney for President … GOP nominee has a plan that “will enable a stronger America.”

Romney receives ringing endorsement from life time Democracy Lee Iacocca …

Add another Democrat to the list of individuals who is endorsing Mitt Romney for President. This is rather interesting, the auto industry titan Iacocca is endorsing Romney, even though Romney was against Obama’s auto bail out? Former Chrysler chairman Lee Iacocca is endorsing Republican candidate Mitt Romney for president stating “dozens of years of experiences in the public and private sectors” and because the GOP nominee has a plan that “will enable a stronger America.”

After a lifetime of voting for and supporting Democrats — and even declining appointment to the U.S. Senate from a Democratic governor — Lee Iacocca Thursday endorsed Republican Mitt Romney for president.

The blessings of the onetime Chrysler chairman are expected to help Romney in two highly competitive states: Pennsylvania, where the 88-year-old Iacocca was born and raised and is still widely respected, and in Michigan, where Iacocca rose to become a major figure in the auto industry and won international praise for cobbling together the government-backed loans that saved Chrysler in 1980.

More from Iacocca:

In his endorsement message, Iacocca complained that “America is in deep trouble,” facing high debts and still suffering “anemic” economic growth. He said “hope and speeches won’t get our people back to work.”

Iacocca, who now lives in California, issued a statement saying he backed Romney because of his “dozens of years of experiences in the public and private sectors” and because the GOP nominee has a plan that “will enable a stronger America.”

Don’t fret Barack, you did get the Honey Boo Boo endorsement.

Biden Gaffe Alert … Joe Biden to Crowd of Supporters: “How Many of You Know Someone Who Served in Iraq or Iran?” HUH? Then Biden Makes Reference that GOP has Bullets Aimed at You.

And you wonder why Biden was sequestered prior to his VP debate for 7 days … Biden is a National disgrace.

Just think America, if Obama is reelected Joe Biden is just a heart beat away from the Presidency. With that in mind, check out yet another Biden gaffe from the man who is supposed to be the foreign policy wiz of the Democrat party and the Obama White House …

“How many of you know someone who served in Iraq or Iran? How many of you know someone who was injured in Iraq or Iran?”

Um, served or was injured in Iran Joe? Even ABC News did not miss the gaffe from Biden confusing Afghanistan with Iran. Oops. But that’s just Joe being Joe and some how we are supposed to give the screw up a minute a free pass. Oh, but it got worse for Biden and in turn Obama. Once again Biden went off teleprompter when an individual in the audience yelled “They have guns but no bullets,” referring to Young Guns, Republican VP nominee, Rep. Paul Ryan, R-WI, House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, R-VA, and Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy, R-CA.  Then it got worse when Biden said … “Unfortunately, the bullets are aimed at you.” Really?

They have guns but no bullets,” a member of the crowd shouted.

“Unfortunately, the bullets are aimed at you,” Bidenreplied, pointing at the man who had spoken and prompting laughter from the audience.

Shortly after the rally, Romney-Ryan spokesman Brendan Buck hit back at Biden.

“Today’s over-the-top rhetoric by Vice President Biden is disappointing, but not all that surprising,” Buck wrote in an emailed statement. “In the absence of a vision or plan to move the country forward, the vice president is left only with ugly political attacks beneath the dignity of the office he occupies.  Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan will bring serious leadership to Washington that will focus on an agenda of job creation and economic growth that benefits all Americans.”

Biden Press Secretary Amy Dudley, clarified, saying in an emailed statement, “The Vice President’s exchange with an audience member today was clearly a reference to how the policies discussed in Paul Ryan’s book, ‘Young Guns,’ would devastate the middle class. Given that people don’t assume that Paul Ryan is literally a gun, it probably makes sense not to assume that Joe Biden was speaking literally about bullets.”

During the foreign policy portion of his stump speech, Biden made a mistake.

So now Republicans are going to put you back in chains and now shoot you. Who is going to actually say it and maybe Biden is not really fit for office. Thankfully, November 6th will be his end. As the Lonely Conservative aptly points out, hmm, how is that for civil discourse? Imagine if Romney or Ryan made such a comment about having bullets pointed to you? They would be branded racists and accused of making an assassination threat.

Liberal Newspapers Abandoning Obama … Orlando Sentinel Endorses Mitt Romney … Add The Tennessean as Well

WOW, Hell Just Froze Over … Liberal Newspaper have buyer’s remorse. The Orlando Sentinel and Tennessean endorse Mitt Romney …

What a difference four years makes. How bad is it for President Barack Obama … liberal newspaper, The Orlando Sentinel endorses GOP Presidential challenger Mitt Romney In an amazing reversal of fortune, the the Orlando Sentinel kicks Barack Obama to the curb and endorses Romney and laid out their rational for their decision. Their main point and the main issue for millions of Americans, the economy. Barack Obama has failed America as unemployment remains high, millions of Americans are unemployed or under-employed, as economic growth is “anemic” and the federal debt is through the roof over $16 trillion.

But the core of Romney’s campaign platform, his five-point plan, at least shows he understands that reviving the economy and repairing the government’s balance sheet are imperative — now, not four years in the future.

Romney has a strong record of leadership to run on. He built a successful business. He rescued the 2002 Winter Olympics from scandal and mismanagement. As governor of Massachusetts, he worked with a Democrat-dominated legislature to close a $3billion budget deficit without borrowing or raising taxes, and pass the health plan that became a national model.

This is Romney’s time to lead, again. If he doesn’t produce results — even with a hostile Senate — we’ll be ready in 2016 to get behind someone else who will.

But wait, Team Reelect Obama thought that was bad … Hell just froze over, The Tennessean also just endorsed Romney. Granted, the state of Tennessee is dark red and not in play for the 2012 Presidential election; however, the Tennessean is as liberal a rag as their is in the US.  It is the newspaper that gave Al Gore his start in journalism. Nuff said. This is a newspaper that has endorsed every Presidential Democrat candidate, not this time. Who knew, pigs can fly.

The Tennessean decision to endorse Romney also pointed to Obama’s failures with the economy and Obama’s failures. He promised America “Hope & Change” and as the Tennessean, maybe only such change can come from Mitt Romney.

Should President Obama, as some suggested, have devoted his early political capital to jobs and debt reduction and pursuing Wall Street criminals, instead of health reform? Time will tell. But it’s clear whatever shaky bridges were burned in the push for health reform only emboldened Republicans to oppose his subsequent economic proposals. That has rendered much of his presidency ineffective.

Barack Obama was elected in 2008 with a call for hope and change. Perhaps the change he spoke of could only come with the help of Mitt Romney.

OUCH! Can you say the rats are abandoning the sinking S.S. Obama? Even liberal print media is starting to understand that Obama is not the answer, even if they believe in his ideology. Just how bad and an epic failure must Barack Obama be to lose the endorsements of some of the most uber-lib print media in the United States? But don’t worry Barack, you got the Honey Boo Boo endorsement.
