Good Grief, Van Jones Denies Being a 911 Truther … “it certainly does not reflect my views now or ever” … I Just Always Sign What I Don’t Read

Van Jones, the communist Green Jobs Czar has denied ever being a 9–11 Truther. In a statement released over 12 hours after the initial story was reported, Van Jones stated, “the petition that was circulated today, I do not agree with this statement and it certainly does not reflect my views now or ever.”

What a joke. This is the response from Van Jones and the White House? This is what they took all day to come up with? Van Jones does not agree with the Truther statement, yet some how his name got on the petition. Because every one signs petitions that they do not agree with. Barack Obama cannot wait for the Labor Day three day weekend to come. It cannot come soon enough for The One.

Jake Tapper reported the following:

A top environmental official of the Obama administration issued a statement Thursday apologizing for past incendiary statement and denying that he ever agreed with a 2004 petition on which his name appears, a petition calling for congressional hearings and an investigation by the New York Attorney General into “evidence that suggests high-level government officials may have deliberately allowed the September 11th attacks to occur.”

I really didn’t sign the petition.
Well, okay I did sign the petition, but I didn’t agree with it.
Okay, I signed the Truther petition, but I never read what I signed.
Um, if you don’t believe me then you are all racists and a$$holes.

Van Jones, the Special Advisor for Green Jobs at the White House Council on Environmental Quality, is Number 46 of the petitioners from the so-called “Truther” movement which suggests that people in the administration of President George W. Bush “may indeed have deliberately allowed 9/11 to happen, perhaps as a pretext for war.”

In a statement issued Thursday evening Jones said of “the petition that was circulated today, I do not agree with this statement and it certainly does not reflect my views now or ever.”

He did not explain how his name came to be on the petition. A source said Jones did not carefully review the language in the petition before agreeing to add his name.

Oops, Mike Berger, a spokesman for 911Truth.org is telling quite a different story that Van Jones. Mr. Jones, do you know what that sound is? It’s the sound of inevitability of your resigning.

Mike Berger, a spokesman for 911Truth.org, told the Washington Times over the phone that all of the signers had been verified by their group.  He said 9/11Truth.org board members “spoke with each person on the list by phone or through email to individually confirm they had added their name to that list.”

“I think in most cases they spoke to them personally,” he added. “No one’s name was put on that list without them knowing it.”

Make room for Van Jones under the Obama bus

How stupid do these people think Americans are? As The QandO Blog states, “He and the Obama administration are really expecting us to believe that Jones didn’t know what he was signing?” So Obama has a Green Jobs czar that signs things without reading its content? That is certainly reassuring. It is only a matter of time before Van Jones is sent packing and thrown under the Obama bus. There is no way communist and Truther Van Jones is surviving this disgraceful behavior, especially so near the anniversary of September 11.
