Some Interesting Polls that Should Cause Alarm for Obama and Democrats … Economy, National Defense both Favor Republicans

The tide is beginning to turn against Obama and the Democrats. With Obama continuing to push Obama_Socialisn_smilemore government spending, more bail out and his nationalized single payer health care system, the 2010 midterm elections may be a tidal wave for Conservatives and Republicans. Wait until he starts raising taxes.

America may have voted for change; however, they did not vote for irresponsible spending, socialism and a weak foreign policy.

The Obama bloom may be falling off the socialist rose, as this tax and spend liberal/socialist the likes this country has ever seen might be swinging the pendulum back the other direction. There is some recent polling that indicates that even though Obama maintains a high favorability rating, it might all fall in like a house of cards as there is a “Perfect Storm” of polling that says America is tired of Obama pulling the United States into socialism. The polls show weakness in both the economic and foreign policy, defending the United States. The Obama social experiment gig is up.

1. A recent Gallup Poll indicates that “Conservatives” are the Single-Largest Ideological Group. Think this is not a response to the far left direction that Obama has taken the US?

Thus far in 2009, 40% of Americans interviewed in national Gallup Poll surveys describe their political views as conservative, 35% as moderate, and 21% as liberal. This represents a slight increase for conservatism in the U.S. since 2008, returning it to a level last seen in 2004.

2. A Fox News Opinion Dynamics poll released Monday showed that a majority of Americans, including Democrats say that President Barack Obama has not been tough enough on North Korea or Iran.

A FOX News poll released Monday finds more than two-thirds of Americans say Obama has not been tough enough on North Korea (69 percent), while some 15 percent think his actions have been “about right” and 3 percent think he has been too tough.

Sizable majorities of Democrats (65 percent), Republicans (78 percent) and independents (61 percent) agree Obama should be tougher on North Korea. Among those voters who backed Obama in the 2008 presidential election, 59 percent say he has not been tough enough.

3. Rasmussen Poll states that Americans now TRUST Republicans more on economic issues than Democrats. Think this is not a direct response to the bail out plans and the spending like a drunken sailor that Obama has done since in office? Think again.

Voters now trust Republicans more than Democrats on six out of 10 key issues, including the top issue of the economy.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 45% now trust the GOP more to handle economic issues, while 39% trust Democrats more.

4. Another Rasmussen Poll indicates that 53% of Americans state that Government spending hurts the economy while only 27% believe it helps.
