It was only a matter of time before the long arm of the law caught up with Drew Peterson. Yesterday, at approximately 5:35 pm Drew Peterson was taken into custody and arrested for the murder of his third wife, Kathleen Savio. In the age of 24/7 news, digital cameras and camera cell phones, the arrest was caught on video.

Exactly how bad is it when one is pulled over by police in traffic and arrested for the murder of his wife, one would have to ask which one? Thus was the case for former police sergeant Drew Peterson. Drew Peterson is the prime suspect in the disappearance of his fourth wife, Stacy Peterson, and had also been the prime suspect in his third wife’s murder. Yesterday, when police arrested Peterson I am sure all interested people who have followed the antics of Drew Peterson were wondering, exactly which crime is he being arrested for. Peterson was arrested on two first-degree murder counts in the 2004 death of his third wife, Kathleen Savio.

Kathleen Savio, who was found dead in her bathtub in 2004, was the third wife of Bolingbrook Police Sgt. Drew Peterson. State’s Attorney James Glasgow has said evidence suggests that someone killed Savio and tried to make it look like an accident. Peterson is a suspect in his fourth wife’s disappearance.

Timeline in case against ex-cop Drew Peterson

Drew Peterson will be arraigned later today on charges in the murder of Kathleen Savio. Savio’s death was originally ruled an accidental death; however, a second autopsy determined that her death was in fact a homicide. Savio was found dead in her bathtub shortly before her divorce with Drew Peterson.

I guess Drew Peterson may need to put his reality TV career on hold as he may not be appearing in the HBO adult series Cathouse, but instead want to be making plans to be spending the rest of his life in the “Big House”.
