Happy Cinco de Mayo … Or if you are the Great Orator President Obama … “Cinco de Cuatro”

Barack Obama wished every one Happy “Cinco de Cuatro”. Huh? A Happy 5 or 4. What is this new Obamanomics or another catch phrase for his latest bank bailout plan?

Sometimes, no pretty much most of the time armatures should leave the jokes in the hands of the professionals. Point proven yesterday when President Barack Obama celebrated Cinco de Mayo a day early and botched it up royally. What is once again telling is that the AP in their article tells us what Obama meant to say. How do they know? Why is it that the MSM continuously apologizes for this Administration telling us after each gaffe what they really intended?

On the eve of the Mexican holiday, Obama on Monday had an event in the East Room of the White House with Mexico’s Ambassador Arturo Sarukhan (sahr-oo-KHAN’).

Obama joked that it was “Cinco de Cuatro,” botching a play on the Spanish word for “four” when he meant to say “Cuatro de Mayo,” or the Fourth of May. He tried again, but he still did not get it right.

Not only can’t President Obama speak Spanish, as Jammie Wearing Fool points out, it appears his teleprompter cannot either.

Oh yeah, and Bush was the idiot. Funny thing is, at least Bush can speak Spanish. As far as I know, Obama and his Teleprompter only speak English. No doubt the cerebral titans over at MSNBC and The Daily Show will be yukking it up over this gaffe.

Exactly how many times is the great orator or as The Weekly Standard states, the man with the overblown reputation as the most cerebral, eloquent, utterly erudite president of all time going to continually fall over his words? His speech is supposed to be his strength, he is a rank amateur with everything else. However, we are supposed to believe that Obama is cerebral because he and the media tell us so.
