20 Year Old Ashlee Armond Missing Since 12/13/14 in Long Beach, CA (Update: Found Deceased)

20 year old Ashlee Armond has been missing since Saturday, December 13, 2014 in Long Beach California. Ashlee  rmond was last seen just after midnight, leaving her best friend’s house in her vehicle from the area of 7th St. and Margo Ave. in East Long Beach (MAP). She was heading to her boyfriend’s house, located in the area of Palo Verde Ave. and Del Amo Blvd., also located in East Long Beach. However, Ashlee Armond never arrived.   The Long Beach Police consider Armond to be a critically missing person because all attempts to locate her have failed and she has never gone missing before.

Armond is five feet, two inches tall, weighs 110 pounds, is Hispanic, and has brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a red t-shirt and black yoga pants. She drives a green Honda Civic with license plate number 4YDU298.

UPDATE I: Missing Long Beach woman found dead in submerged car.

Police located a green 2001 Honda Civic on Saturday night under water in the Los Cerritos Channel at the eastern end of Fifth Street east of Silvera Street, near Charles F. Kettering Elementary School. Inside the car was the body of Ashlee Armond, according to a statement from the Long Beach Police Department.

Police said Armond was driving east on Fifth Street when she failed to stop at the end of the roadway and drove into the channel. The street ends at a cul de sac, with a small strip of grass and a bikeway separating the dead end from the rocks embankment of the flood control channel.
