Reefer Madness … More Obama Change, This Time with Rules on Medical Marijuana

BARACK OBAMA REEFER MADNESS … LEGALIZED MEDICAL MARIJUANA

Stoners of America unite as here is a medical marijuana change you can believe in from the Obama Administration.  Obama said in an interview in March that it was “entirely appropriate” for a state to legalize the medical use of marijuana “with the same controls as other drugs prescribed by doctors.” It would appear as if Obama is about to make yet another change when it comes to Rules on medical marijuana.

U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder is sending strong signals that President Obama – who as a candidate said states should be allowed to make their own rules on medical marijuana – will end raids on pot dispensaries in California.

Asked at a Washington news conference Wednesday about Drug Enforcement Administration raids in California since Obama took office last month, Holder said the administration has changed its policy.

“What the president said during the campaign, you’ll be surprised to know, will be consistent with what we’ll be doing here in law enforcement,” he said. “What he said during the campaign is now American policy.”

So Barack Obama now agrees with States rights over the Federal government? Think the Obamamessiah will remain consistent on a State’s rights approach?

“The president believes that federal resources should not be used to circumvent state laws” and expects his appointees to follow that policy, Schapiro said.

Maybe Barack would not mind then if each state voted on whether they wanted his  Stimulus package or budget. Individuals can be for medical use of Marijuana all they want; however, this will be tough to enforce. Sadly, the government does tell us what to do and does invade the privacies of our home. Hell, taxation without representation and redistribution of your wealth are the most obvious examples … legalizing an illegal drug for medicinal purposes pales in comparison. Why do I have the feeling that marijuana prescriptions will be on the rise, even more so than Viagra?
