Obama Continues to Spend (09 Budget) & Deficit Goes Up and 59% of Americans Believe Government is the Problem

Posted in: Barack Obama,Economy,Government,Politics,Polls,WTF

In the end most Americans know exactly who the problem is … American wanted Change; however, this might just be change no one can live with.

Obama and the Democrats think that they are riding in with a white hat on a horse to save the day for the American people. Sadly, these delusional people think they really are the answer and Obama really believes he is The Chosen One.

However, intelligent, thinking Americans know better. In a recent Rasmussen poll (the only person who called the 2008 Presidential election correctly) 59% of Americans believe that government is not the solution, but the problem. Obama’s current wave of popularity is based on one thing, he is new and people want to believe. Wait until the economy reacts adversely to his policy when average Americans feel a direct impact.

… a Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey found that 59% of U.S. voters agreed with Ronald Reagan that “government is not the solution to our problem; government is the problem.”

Since then, the stock market has fallen roughly 3,000 points, millions of jobs have been lost, nearly a trillion dollars has been spent so far to bail out the financial industry, an additional $787-billion government stimulus package has been approved, and a new president has taken office who has proposed spending billions and billions more.

Despite all that, a new Rasmussen Reports telephone survey shows that the basic views of the American people have not change: 59% of voters still agree with Reagan’s inaugural address statement. Only 28% disagree, and 14% are not sure.

“We need some shared sacrifice” and “elevated deficits are beneficial”

Oh my God, you wanted change … change here … Obama’s Budget: Almost $1 Trillion in New Taxes Over Next 10 yrs, Starting 2011. Can every one just now admit that Obama is what we thought he was … a tax and spend liberal.

UPDATE I: ’09 BUDGET SPENDS $11,833 FOR EVERY AMERICAN

Were not these the same people that railed against GWB for the deficit with the war in Iraq?

An eye-popping $1.75 trillion deficit for the 2009 fiscal year underlined the heavy blow the deep recession has dealt to the country’s finances as Obama unveiled his first budget. That is the highest ever in dollar terms, and amounts to a 12.3 percent share of the economy — the largest since 1945. In 2010, the deficit would dip to a still-huge $1.17 trillion, Obama predicted.

UPDATE II: Appears some Democrats Hate the Obama Budget
