TWO THIRDS, 67% OF AMERICANS ARE IN FAVOR OF TRAVEL BANS FROM COUNTRIES AFFECTED BY EBOLA … BARACK OBAMA GOLFS.

According to a recent Washington Post/ABC News poll, 67% of Americans are in favor of travel bans for individuals from countries affected by Ebola, namely the West African ravaged countries of Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea. JUST 67%? Look for this number to grow considerably after a second transmitted case of Ebola has now been diagnosed in Dallas, Texas.

Ebola Travel ban

Nearly two-thirds of Americans are concerned about a widespread epidemic of the Ebola virus in the United States, and about as many in a new ABC News/Washington Post poll say the federal government is not doing enough to prevent it.

Indeed, more than four in 10 – 43 percent are worried that they or an immediate family member might catch the disease. That’s similar to the level of concern about other viral outbreaks in some previous ABC/Post polls, but more consequential, given Ebola’s high mortality rate.

From The Daily Caller points out that this is not a Republican or Democrat partisan issue … their is support on both sides to put a travel ban in place. Except from the always political, PC, community organizer, Barack Obama.

The public’s support for an Ebola travel ban is growing fast, prompting more Republican and Democratic politicians to demand a White House policy reversal.

Sixty seven percent of Americans said they would favor “restricting entry to the United States by people who’ve been in affected countries,” according to a new poll by The Washington Post and the ABC News.

Only 29 percent opposed the travel curbs on people arriving from Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea, where 4,000 people have already died from the lethal and invasive disease.

That attitude is spurring politicians to challenge President Barack Obama’s repeated opposition to any restrictions on the entry of apparently healthy Africans who may carry the disease.

Obama’s progressive-style opposition to the travel ban may become a problem for Democrats during the remaining three weeks of the 2014 campaign, especially if more Americans are infected with the deadly disease.
