911 Calls Released of Meter Reader Roy Kronk Bag Near the Area that Casey Anthony was Found … Kronk to Talk after New Year

Is Roy Kronk the 2008 version of Richard Jewel and the Atlanta Olympic bombing? Does it pay to get involved in a high profile case where the defense will paint you to be a suspect in a crime? Is Jose Baez and the high profile defense team about to make Kronk the next Mark Fuhrman?

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office has released the 911 calls made by Roy Kronk, the meter reader who made three calls back in August claiming that he saw something suspicious near the Anthony neighborhood. Following the discovery of the child’s remains, it was then learned that the meter reader had made three previous phone calls regarding tips about this same area in August 2008.  Roy Kronk’s last call to authorities in December 11, 2008 that eventually positively identified the child’s remains as that of Caylee Anthony.

” I had the route today that includes the Anthony’s home, ” meter reader Roy Kronk told the 9-1-1 dispatcher August 11.  Kronk told the operator again by saying: “I’m telling you I saw something”.

Roy Kronk recently came forward with his attorney in a news conference to address the media and the speculation that began following his latest call the authorities that eventually found the remains of little Caylee Anthony.

Now the Orange County Sheriff’s Office has released all of the 911 calls made by Roy Kronk. Listen below. Wow, could a couple of these 911 operators could a little more disinterested?

Following the discovery of the black plastic bag and the last 911 call made on December 11, 2008 it is believable as to why the meter reader had made 3 calls on three consecutive days back in August. From listening to a couple of the 911 calls, the operators hardly seemed interested in the call. In fact, they sounded bored. We realize that there operators get thousands of calls, but in August 2008 there was “Where is Caylee Anthony” mania going on and one would think the response would have been more like the 911 call received in December. The lack of a sense of urgency is rather amazing for what was going on at the time.

The initial call on August 11 Kronk states he thinks he thinks he noticed something white but he did not know what it was. In the second call on August 12 Kronk made he also references that he say something round and white behind one of the trees. Kronk states that it looked suspicious and looked like it did not belong there. What is also rather telling is that Kronk during the call to the 911 operator wants to be made anonymous.

Before hanging up with the dispatcher the second time, Kronk was asked to call Crimeline. Kronk said he didn’t want to because he’s a county employee.

You can still do it regardless if you’re a county employee. You can remain anonymous,” the dispatcher said

“Not if they find a freaking body,” he replied.

What are we to make of Roy Kronk and his persistence with the case of missing Caylee Anthony. According to WESH, Roy Kronk plans to talk to the media after the New Year. At present, the meter reader is cooperating with police and has not released any of those details to the media or the public.

Roy Kronk is “evaluating his options for participation in various interviews,” attorney David Evans said, adding that Kronk has been approached by a variety of local, cable, and network media to tell his story.
