Impartial??? PBS Anchor and Debate Moderator Gwen Ifill in the Tank for Obama, her Book … “Breakthrough: Politics and Race in the Age of Obama.”

How more obvious must it be that the partisan MSM will stop at nothing for an Obama win? That coupled with a conflict of interest and a monetary incentive to see one side win. Some things are just so glaringly wrong, they are beyond comprehension that it is even plausible.

Obama & Ifill … Ifill on Sarah Palin

When is enough, enough? It is bad enough that we are witness every day to the bias of the main stream media as they cover this election. It is no question to anyone that the MSM is not in the tank for Barack Obama. Now we are presented with this glaring and reprehensible display of partisanship prior to Thursday nights VP Debate. Not only is there the issue of bias, but one of a conflict of interest where Ifill has financial motivation for an Obama win. As the Gateway Pundit simply puts it, UNREAL!!!

Gwen Ifill is the one who decides on questions that will be asked candidates, let alone the tone of the debate. With a financial incentive and an already known political bias, of course this will be a fair and balanced debate. However, how dare anyone question her motives or Obama … you will be branded a racist.

From Classic Values and the truth is stranger than fiction category, “Palin/Biden Debate Wtf_dudeModerator Author Of Pro-Obama Book. I know you can’t make this stuff up because you don’t have to.”

Gwen Ifill, the PBS anchor and moderator for the VP Debate is in the tank for Obama. Impartial, huh … Ifill has written a book that will be released around the election entitled, “Breakthrough: Politics and Race in the Age of Obama.”

In THE BREAKTHROUGH, veteran journalist Gwen Ifill surveys the American political landscape, shedding new light on the impact of Barack Obama’s stunning presidential campaign and introducing the emerging young African American politicians forging a bold new path to political power.

From Michelle Malkin:

Ask the Commission on Presidential Debates if she will acknowledge her conflict of interest: 202-872-1020.

And here’s the e-mail address of Janet H. Brown, Executive Director of the Debates Commission: jb@debates.org

So let’s get the straight, a moderator of a debate has a financial interest in who wins the election? Ifill’s book sales will skyrocket if the ticket of Obama/Biden prevails in November. HOW IS IT ALLOWED THAT SOME ONE WHO IS SO PARTISAN IS THE MODERATOR OF A DEBATE!!! Ifill has every right to write a book and profit from it; however, bias aside, in no uncertain terms should she be a moderator of a political event like a debate that is in direct conflict with her financial gain.

UPDATE I: She has faced criticism previously for not treating candidates of both major parties the same

Ifill’s unbias comments toward Sarah Palin at the Republican National Convention.

PBS viewer Brian Meyers of Granby, Conn., said he was “appalled” by Ifill’s commentary directly following Palin’s convention speech.

“Her attitude was dismissive and the look on her face was one of disgust,” Meyers said. “Clearly, she was agitated by what most critics view as a well-delivered speech. It is quite obvious that Ms. Ifill supports Obama as she struggled to say anything redemptive about Gov. Palin’s performance.”
UPDATE II: Ifill says “I’ve got a pretty long track record covering politics and news

That’s one of the problems Gwen, your track record is that of a Democratic shill. You had an ethical obligation to disclose your financial conflict when your name was brought up to be a moderator. There is no question that Ifill should not be allowed to be the moderator.
“I’ve got a pretty long track record covering politics and news, so I’m not particularly worried that one-day blog chatter is going to destroy my reputation,” Ifill said. “The proof is in the pudding. They can watch the debate tomorrow night and make their own decisions about whether or not I’ve done my job.”
The day before the Joe Biden-Sarah Palin debate, columnist Michelle Malkin wrote in the New York Post about Ifill’s book, saying “she’s so far in the tank for the Democratic presidential candidate, her oxygen delivery line is running out.”
