McCain Winning the Ad Wars: McCain Political Ad Calling Obama a Celebrity Extremely Effective in Defining Barack … Obama Distances from Celebs

The McCain campaign is running circles around Obama and his campaign. McCain is effectively portraying Obama for the inexperienced candidate that he is. McCain has kept Obama on his heals. Obama has lost his large lead and is facing a downward trend that has many democrats fearful. McCain has completely won the ad wars with much less money to use. Why do we say this? As celebrities descend upon Denver and the Democratic National Convention, Obama is running for the hills, or should we say the Rockies away from them.

First, the speed and reaction time of McCain’s campaign has been something to marvel. One might think that they have someone embedded in Obama’s war room. Obama no sooner announced Biden as his VP running mate and the following ad was out front and center.

Second, how else does one explain in a political environment that so is heavily in favor of Democrats that McCain is gaining ground and presently tied in the polls with Obama. Obama has everything going for him yet the McCain campaign has more then just held serve, they have beaten Obama to the punch and better articulated their message.

Third and most important, McCain is effectively defining Barack Obama and causing The Chosen One to back off of appearances that he normally would have thought nothing of. When McCain called Obama a celebrity like Paris Hilton and Britney Spears, who knew the ad would be so effective? Many just pasted it off as juvenile. However, that celebrity ad as has defined Obama and has caused the Obamamessiah to actually shy away from celebrities so not to prove McCain 100% correct.

Barack Obama’s status as the rock-star candidate of the US election campaign is highlighted yet again with an array of celebrities descending on Denver for the Democratic Convention.

Yet as Hollywood prepares to decamp to Colorado for a series of VIP events held on the sidelines of the convention, presidential hopeful Obama is likely to keep a careful distance from the glitterati, analysts say.

Republican rival John McCain’s campaign has recently sought to turn Obama’s surging popularity into a weakness, scoring some direct hits by likening the Democrat to gossip-page perennials such as Paris Hilton and Britney Spears.

Because of this, analysts say, Obama will be leery of campaigning alongside stars from the entertainment world who have rushed to voice their support.

Define an effective campaign. When one hesitates doing actions one would normally do because someone has defined them for what they truly are.
