Government tyranny at an all time high under Obama presidency …

A recent Gallup poll shows that 60% of Americans believe the US federal government has far too much power. The United States has become a regulation nation where too much power is coming out of Washington, DC from all branches of government against the will of the people and the US Constitution. The American people are getting fed up. We need to look no further than Obamacare that was forced down the throats of all Americans by one party rule and than unconscionably declared constitutional for the SCOTUS.We can also see the all too much power evident at the IRS, where a government agency is allowed to target groups for their political beliefs and basically get away with it in a cover up. Or the NSA that is allowed to attain information on people whether they have committed a crime or not. Or what about the government “gun” walking program with ‘Fast & Furious’ or the ongoing government cover-up with Benghazi-gate?

According to the Gallup poll, 81% of Republicans think the feds have too much power, 65% of Independents and 38% of Democrats. It would appear that Democrats became perfectly ok with the power of the federal government once Obama took office.

However, I have to ask the same question posed by the PJ Tatler … How does an electorate keep voting for the same government that they deem too powerful? If so many Republicans feel that they despise the size of government has gotten under Obama, then vote out some of your more progressive, establishment GOP candidates as well. The way to lessen the power of government is to start by taking back your own party.  A note to all America, take your country back … they are supposed to work for us!

Six in 10 Americans (60%) believe the federal government has too much power, one percentage point above the previous high recorded in September 2010. At least half of Americans since 2005 have said the government has too much power. Thirty-two percent now say the government has the right amount of power. Few say it has too little power.

This new high encompasses Republicans (81%), who are now more likely than at any time since 2002 to say the government has too much power, and Democrats (38%), who now are more likely to say this than at any time since President Barack Obama took office in 2009.

Republicans, Democrats, and independents have each grown more likely to say government is too powerful this year. However, Republicans’ and Democrats’ views have generally become more polarized since Obama took office. In 2002, the two parties were about equally likely to view the federal government as too powerful, at 36% and 35%, respectively, with independents, at 45%, most likely to say this.
