30 year old Stephen Ardrey of Springfield, Mo was found with a missing Massachusetts teen and arrested.  He is being charged with sex trafficking and crossing state lines to engage in illegal sex with a minor. 17 year old Brittany Thompson went missing Monday afternoon after leaving the Medfield Public Library with an unidentified man. The Missouri man found Thursday with a missing Massachusetts teen has been arrested and charged with sex trafficking and crossing state lines to engage in illegal sex with a minor, CBS Boston reports.

Stephen Ardrey, 30, of Springfield, Mo., appeared in federal court in Providence, R.I. on Friday. He was found in Coventry, R.I. Thursday with the missing 17-year-old, who was unharmed.

CBS Boston reports Ardrey has a criminal record that includes being charged with pimping in Georgia in 2007.

The teen, from Medfield, Mass., who is described as being developmentally delayed, was reported missing Monday.

Developmentally delayed teen walked away from the Medfield Public Library with an unknown man Monday afternoon.

After surveillance images of the man and the girl were released by police, they were found Thursday morning in Coventry, Rhode Island.  The teen was not hurt and was reunited with her parent.

Investigators questioned the man with her, Stephen Ardrey, 30, of Springfield, Missouri and later arrested him.

Ardrey was brought to federal court in Providence Friday afternoon, where he was charged with sex trafficking and crossing state lines to engage in illegal sex with a minor.
