BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR … YASER ABDEK SAID … The man hunt is on for 50 year old Yaser AbdeL Said who is suspected of killing Yaser Abdel Saidhis two teen daughters, Sarah Yaser Said, 17, and Amina Yaser Said, 18.

  • He was last seen wearing a black turtleneck shirt or sweater, a brown coat and tan pants. He is believed to be armed with a handgun, police said.

Police continued searching for a man suspected of shooting his two teenage daughters, including one who called 911 about an hour before officers found them dead in his taxi, police said.

Yaser Abdel Said, 50, of the Dallas suburb of Lewisville, is accused of shooting Sarah Yaser Said, 17, and Amina Yaser Said, 18, in his taxi Tuesday night and abandoning it in a parking lot, leaving them to die.

Police have not released a motive for the shootings, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported in its online edition Wednesday.

The women were later identified as Sarah Yaser Said, 17, and Amina Yaser Said, 18.

Both had been shot, and police are now searching for their father Yaser Abdel Said, believed to be a suspect in their slayings.

Their Christian funeral service Saturday – followed by a Muslim service later in the day – served as a reminder of the promise their short lives held and the needless tragedy of their deaths. Police believe they were killed by their father, a 50-year-old cabdriver.

And the police presence was a reminder that the girls’ Egyptian-born father, Yaser Abdel Said, is still on the run.
