Hey Obama supporters, Blacks, Hispanics, Woman and Youth … How’s that Obama “Hopey-Changey” stuff working out for you?

The December Jobs report came out yesterday showed that the unemployment rate ticked up to 7.8%. Of course that does not even count the millions of individuals who have given up completely and stopped looking for work. What is most amazing that the very people who have supported Obama the most are the ones who have been adversely affected by the failed Obama jobs recovery. December’s Millennial jobs report for “Youth Unemployment” was miserable at 11.5%.

OBAMA THANKS YOU FOR HIS REELECTION, SUCKERS

  • The overall unemployment rate for 18-29 year olds for December 2012 is 11.5 percent (NSA).
  • The unemployment rate for 18-29 year old African-Americans for December 2012 is 22.1 percent (NSA)
  • The unemployment rate for 18-29 year old Hispanics for December 2012 is 12.2 percent (NSA)
  • The unemployment rate for 18–29 year old women for December 2012 is 10.4 percent (NSA).

The declining labor force participation rate has created an additional 1.7 million young adults that are not counted as “unemployed” by the U.S. Department of Labor because they are not in the labor force, meaning that those young people have given up looking for work due to the lack of jobs.
If the labor force participation rate were factored into the 18-29 unemployment calculations, the actual Millennial unemployment rate would rise to 16.3 percent (NSA).

Overall, blacks, Hispanics, Woman all increased in the December Jobs report from the November one:

Among the major worker groups, the unemployment rates for adult women
(7.3 percent) and blacks (14.0 percent) edged up in December, while
the rates for adult men (7.2 percent), teenagers (23.5 percent),
whites (6.9 percent), and Hispanics (9.6 percent) showed little or no
change. The jobless rate for Asians was 6.6 percent (not seasonally
adjusted), little changed from a year earlier.
