The results of toxicology tests on Canadian pro wrestler Chris Benoit will be released Tuesday afternoon, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation has announced. Authorities found anabolic steroids inside the gated home, leading officials to wonder if the drugs played a role in the killings.

 UPDATE I: Toxicology Reports Announced in Press Conference this Afternoon

According to reports from todays live news conference, investigators said that they found testosterone, the anti-anxiety drug Xanax and the painkiller hydrocodone in  Chris Benoit’s body. Also being reported by MSNBC, “steroids and other drugs in the body of pro wrestler Chris Benoit.”

UPDATE II: Toxicology Reports for Chris Benoit, Nancy Benoit and Daniel Benoit 

Why would there have been Xanax found in the body of 7 year old Daniel Benoit? At the news conference they stated they found Xanex at11mg. Investigators seems to believe the drug was present in the 7 year old to use as a sedative prior to his death.

For Chris Benoit, they found Xanaz at 50 and hydrocordone at 45 mg/liter, both of Toxicologywhich were at therapeutic range and not toxic. Finally, they analyzed his urine for steroids and the only steroid drug they found was testosterone, a level of 207 mg/liter.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation said Tuesday that steroids and other drugs were found in the body of pro wrestler Chris Benoit, and prescription drugs were also found in the bodies of his wife and son.

Also found in Benoit were the drugs Xanax and hydrocodone, according to a statement from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. The GBI said Benoit was negative for blood alcohol.

The statement said Nancy Benoit had Xanax, hydrocodone and hydromporphone in her body.

The son, Daniel Benoit had Xanax in his system, the statement said. The GBI said it could not perform tests for steroids or human growth hormones on the son because of lack of adequate amount of urine. (Atlanta Journal Constitution)
