Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow

(Vanderbilt – ’07)

Let’s just imagine you are a Left-Leaning Democrat with aspirations for the Presidency of the United States of America. Knowing that your voter base is a combination of wealthy do-gooders that want to use other people’s taxes to accomplish their lofty goals, and poorer persons of legal and illegal status who are to be net recipients of that tax money, how do you do your hair to appeal to that crowd? Two of our most prominent multi-millionaires have designs on that spot and have the hair to go with the job. Shown whispering campaign objectives, it ‘s obvious that the hair hat of one could easily be worn by the other. Their immediate problem might be how to divide up the job of converting Rugged Individualistic Americans to Obedient Pawns under Grand Utopian Government Control. The hairdo factor has something to do with gender recognition I’m told.

Edwards wins online poll on climate change

And there lies the rub. How does anyone who is the darling of MoveOn.org be taken seriously by everday run of the mill folks? Maybe the on-line poll should have been, who had the better hair.

Edwards, a former senator and the 2004 Democratic vice presidential nominee, won more than 33 percent of the 95,284 votes cast in the online survey by MoveOn members.

Ohio Rep. Dennis Kucinich barely edged out Sens. Hillary Clinton of New York and Barack Obama of Illinois for second place. Kucinich won 15.73 percent of the vote, while Clinton won 15.71 percent and Obama won 15.03 percent.
